A shy and retiring little boutique amongst the smaller Market Street shops, this branch just off St Ann's Square is a right little gem. And as for those reductions, well, you can't argue with a stunning pair of bright red wedge sandals reduced from £80 to £25. Yes, your eyes aren't deceiving you, and it'd be rude not to grab them - after all, thinking of that summer holiday is probably keeping you going right now... I've always found the staff in Moda in Pelle very friendly and helpful, and they give you space to browse. There's a great range of shoes on offer too, from the aforementioned wedges (and plenty of them... I love my summer wedges, so this is a must for me) to Ugg-esque Edhas and Dais and biker boots, fancy courts and pretty pumps to a lovely variety of handbags. To me it feels like a nice little halfway point between the ostentatious self-worth of Kurt Geiger and the cheerful high street demeanour of Office and Faith. If you're after a little treat in the sale, don't miss this one out.

This Burton store is a decent size, albeit a little small, it isn't the most modern of stores either, which is a shame as in such a large mall such as the Manchester Arndale, with 60 out of 240 stores being fashion stores, to survive this store needs to set then apart from the rest for the better, which sadly I don't think they have managed to do just yet. Everything about this store just seems reasonable, average or maybe slightly poor such as the range, pricing and staff, they do have a decent selection of shoes here too, but sadly there isn't always staff about to go and get your size so it becomes a hassle, this is a shame. There isn't much else to say about a store like this except it just is fairly average and barely satisfactory in all aspects, so due to so much competition and the fact Burton doesn't seem to stand out, I can't help but feel this store only warrants a generous two stars. I am also delighted to say this review marks my 366th review of 2016, which was my goal at the start of the year and I'm pleased to finally reach it today, 231 days into 2016 which gives me an average of 1.45 reviews per day as of when this review was written, August 18th.

Especially during the sales! It's the first place I head to! They sell a wide range of designer shoes as well as their own brand too, nothing over £150 though I don't think so not hugely high end. They've always had my size in things and I've never felt pressured to buy anything, more encouraged (and I do not need any encouragement)! After trying on a few and deciding on a style, it was over to the shelving and they brought down some options. I ended up with a lovely crisp shirt for just shy of £35. For the level of attention I received I was expecting it to cost three times that price. I left with a smile on my face and you know what? They've hooked me as a return customer now. I'll gladly spend my money where they treat customers with such regard.
