Anytime I am at Opry Mills, I always make time to swing by and wander through Old Navy. I have come to love their athleisure, socks and boxers. On my recent trip in I scooped up a few pair of socks and a pair of athletic joggers. The socks were on a buy one/get one sale, but the joggers were standard price, but still worth it. The store is clean, but can get quite disheveled on occasion, but honestly that is most Old Navy locations, and then you add in the Opry Mills crowds. Service is hit and miss here, especially while on the sales floor, but the cashiers are always friendly and hustling to get folks through the line. Overall, solid Old Navy location!

At the time when I visited, there were a vast number of 50% off sales going on- and who can complain about half off. I will say, there were not as many sales as I had expected to find. The store was, of course, filled with great sales but among the great sales were a multitude of regular priced items. With it being a busy location and a weekend, it was rather busy. It took a good thirty minutes to get through the check out and back out the doors. The line started at the back wall of the store. The store was also a MESS in the back- especially with the clearance. Clothes were thrown astray throughout the floors and it was evident that some serious attention was needed. The staff was trying everything in their power to keep the chaos under control. There was one person manning the dressing rooms, another restocking and greeting in the front, and the rest of the staff was manned at the cash registers. It seemed that more staff may have fixed the issue. I deemed the sales worthy of a long wait in line. With the several items I had managed to find, it was going to be worth the wait to purchase. Perhaps if the line was not so painfully long and the store was better kept, it would be difficult to find many complaints.

He went over the differences after I tried different pairs on, then told him what I liked/didn't like so that he could also match me up with styles that weren't necessarily in store but could buy online. Another lady that was working was also wonderful. I've always had such great experiences at their Green Hills location. It's not super convenient as I live near Franklin. I was in the market for some new work pants after my old ones finally wore out after 6 years, so I realized that Chico's was having a sale and had to go in ASAP. Jessica was the woman that helped me, I was able to walk in and tell her exactly what I was looking for, what size I was and what styles I liked and she knew right what to get me. She put me in a dressing room and kept bribing me pants until I found the two pair that were perfect (only tried on 4 pairs to find the perfect 2). I told her I would like two of each pair and I was ready to check out! The shopping experience was so easy, which means a lot to me because I hate shopping and digging through racks, trying to find my size, etc. Chico's makes it easy and offers great quality clothing!

I look at all the other suitcases on the baggage claim and they are fine. So naturally I take the busted item into Ross and ask for a refund. Any other retailer in 2023 (maybe excepting the dollar store) would have given me a refund no questions asked, but not Ross. The first "manager" says, "Well it's not resalable so we can't take it back," and I laugh because of course it's not resalable. Then manager #2 comes up and says, "Well I have had a lot of suitcases break on the plane," and I said, "After you bought the suitcase two weeks prior?" and he says, "Well, it depends on the quality of the suitcase," and I said, "Yeah, Ross sold me a poor-quality suitcase," and they still wouldn't take my return. I honestly feel bad for these yes-men-managers who do whatever they are told by some corporate executive who makes policies like this and doesn't care about customer satisfaction or experience. Also, I have my full conversation with these managers recorded if corporate would like to listen but what is most likely? A) Ross corporate cares B) Ross corporate doesn't care You know the answer.

We saw Sam's while walking back to our hotel and decided to pop in hoping to find a shirt for my husband. While it looked like it was mainly men's clothing, the sequin jackets caught my eye and with the encouragement of an amazing salesperson I decided to give one a try. It fit PERFECT! I was then guided by this incredible person to a 3-way mirror to "experience the magic" that they were seeing. WOW!! It was like it was made for me. I felt like a bride because we were both just so amazed how perfect it was. This is the kind of magic you see someone with the star power of like Brandi Carlile wearing at the Grammy's. Super high quality but completely affordable and with a tailored fit. So affordable I also got my husband a really nice western shirt. Everyone in the shop was just so friendly and helpful. They also gave me this really cool flashlight so I could remember the shop's name. (Like I'd ever forget.) Wore it walking around the hotel and people stopped me to admire it. I really felt like Julia Roberts walking into the Regent Beverly Wilshire after finally having a successful shopping experience on Rodeo Drive. You have to stop in here if you're in the area.
