We love the relaxed European atmosphere. The music is always on point and the service is outstanding. You can tell everyone who works at Level 7 enjoys what they do. Anthony Zinani and Chef Devin Bayles always assure that my guests and I are well taken care of. I send my family from out of town to stay at the AC Hotel so they can enjoy everything it has to offer. Came here with a date last night after dinner to have some drinks and watch the sunset. From the street, you can take a side door that leads you to a small room with an elevator that takes you directly up to the bar. Or, you can always enter through the main entrance and take any elevator up to level 7. Since it was Saturday night around 7, the outside seating area was packed. So we sat inside by the windows while I occasionally scanned for open spots. She ordered a Prosecco while I got a Skeleton which is a cocktail with Rum and Scotch, very potent! Eventually, some people left and we got some good seats outside. Service was good even though they were really busy. Pro tip: If one of the waitresses covering outside area took your card for the tab, you can't go to the normal bar area to close it. You'll gonna have to find that waitress and ask her to close it. read more

Level 7 is a great atmosphere for a long day after work or to mix and mingle with friends. Level 7 has a lounge type of seating and atmosphere where there is a mixed of coffee tables, sofas, chairs, end tables, and high bar seating! Usually, it is fairly quiet during th day hours and becomes a lot more busy during the evening! It stays open until 11pm or so during the week and midnight on Friday and Saturday. What I really love about this venue is the rooftop and outdoor scenery! It is one of the few rooftops in the Raleigh area and it is great for happy hours! The menu has small bites and great cocktails ! If you're into business, it is a great business location to meet up during the day and pull out your laptop ! They have a lot of outlets throughout the lounge for you to plug in your electronics ! Also on Fridays, they will sometimes have the live band and music! It is usually posted on the Level 7 website ! It's a great location situation right in the middle of North Hills happenings and the parking is relatively easy with almost 4 decks and lots. There's also street parking ! Went here for a first date on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised! The view from the rooftop bar is great during sunset and the people watching is 10/10. There's an eclectic variety of people and a span of different ages. The cocktails were pretty good, and there's a good-sized lounge and bar inside as well. There was some food, but the energy is pretty high and fun way to either dress up or be casual on a weekend night. read more

I've been wanting to check out Level 7 for a while, so I decided my birthday would be a great opportunity to celebrate! We went on a Saturday night. Early evening but not early enough to find a spot outside. Man the outer deck was packed by 9:00, so we headed back inside to find a place to sit. Lovely, trendy decor, so inside wasn't a bad option. Got to say our group really enjoyed people watching as the younger set passed by our table. Table service was spotty at best, so we just hit the bar to order our drinks. The Midtown Margarita was good, but pricey at $12 and in a rather small glass by margarita standards. Bottom line...great place to take in the sights and watch people, but be prepared to open you wallet. read more

Have been coming here for a year now and it is our favorite place to bring anyone that's visiting as well as whenever we have free time. A glass of frose with some yummy snacks on the patio will make you feel like you're on top of the world, literally. Came here for the first time wondering if I'd like the place. Asked for a beer at the outside rooftop bar and the bartenders offered me a water and subsequently said that they "needed to cut me off". I had just arrived at the place, had already shown my ID to two bouncers, and I was sober because I needed to drive home. I told the bartender that I wasn't sure if he was being sarcastic or not. He confirmed that he was not being sarcastic. Never been treated this way at any bar or restaurant ever. I visited level 7 rooftop with some friends. We had an amazing time. The rooftop had beautiful views of Raleigh. I ordered the frosé which was a hit amongst our party. We also valet our parking which made parking so much easier. I will definitely be back to enjoy more of what they have to offer. read more

I really enjoyed Level 7. I wasn't really sure what to expect exactly since this is technically a hotel bar. Level 7 is on the 7th floor (duh) that overlooks North Hills and often times a gorgeous sunset. There are tons of couches and seating areas both inside and outside. It would be a great venue if you're looking to host a private party. There are bars both inside and outside, though the inside one has more liquor options it seems. There's also a small bites menu if you're feeling noshy. The portions are a little skimpy but the food still tastes good. I would recommend coming on the weekends or during the week after beach music across the street. It's a great location for a date. Just park at the boa building across the street . P4 and above and it's free. So save your dollars from valet! This place is very nice with pretty views! We ordered drinks and watched the sunset while we waiting for dinner across the street! Drinks were average prices of $10-$12. Average for los Angeles prices but probably expensive for this state. We ended up coming back at night and it was packed with people! We were lucky to snag a corner spot and the air was nice and fresh. this place closed down around 1:30 PM since its a hotel bar. Lovely rooftop view with casual outdoor seating, both casual and formal indoor seating, large TVs playing football games, music... practically everything you could want in a sophisticated bar setting. You can order at the bar or through a server at your table. I ordered the Level 7 Smash and I could've had 6 or 7 easily, it were so delicious. We also ordered a charcuterie board, which is reasonably priced and custom to your specific preferences. We went on a very crowded and busy Saturday night, so our charcuterie board took longer than expected. It took over 30 minutes, but our waitress didn't charge us for it. Level 7 seems pretty polarizing to the Yelp community based on the reviews. I have been up there twice after the North Hills beach music event and have some thoughts, both good and not so good based on my experience. THE GOOD -This place is very upscale and unique for North Hills. It is also wildly popular. This is currently THE place to see and be seen in Raleigh. I have actually heard people compare Level 7 to places in New York and Los Angeles. - It's great to be outside when the weather is nice. The views aren't spectacular, but they are views. THE NOT SO GOOD - Big city feel is the not the only thing big city about the bar. The prices are in line with New York and LA as well. - The times I have visited they were packed. This means you need to be patient. I think the bartenders are doing the best they can but may be overwhelmed with the crowds.(I actually heard a manager tell a patron who was complaining about the service that they were doing three times the volume that they had anticipated) I haven't eaten at level 7 so I can't comment on the food, but I don't think most people come there looking for a meal. (They just have light apps). Maybe one day the novelty of Level 7 will wear off and it will become more of a normal hotel bar. Right now, if I was staying at the AC hotel and I went to check out the upstairs bar I would be freaked out due to the crowd size. This isn't normal for a hotel bar. The waiter informed us that they do not carry non alcoholic beer. Very disappointing! I'm actually surprised that bars don't carry any non alcoholic options. He didn't want to just get a water or soda and I didn't want to have a drink with him just sitting there. So we left. I was a bit concerned when I saw the negative reviews on here, but I tried out the place anyhow. I visited Level 7 on a Sunday evening, and it was not crowded. There were plenty of places to sit outside, and big comfy seating. A great place for groups. The views are not spectacular, but it's still nice for a rooftop bar. The place has a trendy vibe to it, and looking out over the rest of North Hills adds to that feeling. If I had a guest in from out of town, I would take them here. The prices are...not totally unreasonable, but pretty expensive for mediocre drinks. I saw there was a pre-made mix for one of the signature cocktails we ordered. If you're paying $11-14 for a drink, you expect it to be made fresh each time. Without the rooftop aspect, I can't say that I would come here again, but I'm kind of a sucker for rooftop bars so...yeah, I will. :) I did not try the food, so I can't review that. read more

Love the vibe here. Very trendy. Clean, crisp interior and a large outdoor rooftop area as well. Great for larger groups (get there earlier). Craft cocktails are legit. Didn't get a chance to try to food, maybe next time. I was glad a dressed up a bit from just regular casual meeting friends clothes. I had a grapefruit aperol spritz and it was very refreshing! I went during the early afternoon for a drink and apps to meet up with an old coworker. I appreciated the street entrance door, made it easy to find. I loved the interior and the rooftop view! I look forward to coming and seeing the scene at night! My cocktail was fantastic, I got the Grapefruit spritz. Highly recommend. There was plenty of seating, but it was 2 pm on a Sunday. Basically addicted to this place. Gives me big city feels in the small but growing city of Raleigh (still confused why Raleigh is the capital of NC instead of Charlotte, but I'll leave that discussion for a different day). So you all go to Level 7! You walk in through the front doors of the beautiful AC hotel (or through the super cool side door on the street) and up to the rooftop you go! The doors open to an elegantly designed rooftop bar, with plenty of seating, chairs, couches, and high tops. You see a beautiful well stocked bar inside the main floor and another out on the patio. Live music (playing until 10pm) fills the air, and a diverse mix of people -old and young, all ethnicities- looking fabulous talk, laugh, drink, and dance around you. Yes, you went to the right place! Drinks are reasonable and made just how you like it - STRONG! Lol. The shots are big and the servers are fast! Came here one night after work to have drinks and catch up with some friends. The view from here, and especially at sunset, is amazing! The service...not so much. Level7 is located of the roof of the new AC Hotel, I parked in the Bank of America parking deck across the street. My friends and I ordered 2 Cavas and 1 olde fashioned. It took about 20-30 minutes. Then the hostess came around again and asked if we'd like a second round (we did) along with our check. This time it definitely took 30 minutes and we had to go up and ask. The hostess was sweet and did apologize for the waitress being slow- the waitress even tried to make a joke when she finally brought our second round "someone didn't put your order in!".....unfortunately that doesn't make me feel to good when I hear that! I really hope they work out the kinks with their service because the atmosphere and view at this bar is great! Drinks are on the more expensive side just FYI. read more

Walked in for lunch at 1pm on a Friday - first impression; nice hotel - elevator ride up opened up to the 7th floor bar. Bar chairs were completely destroyed and need to be replaced. Bar top dirty from the previous night - sticky and gross. Bartender was super unfriendly. Went to order an espresso martini after passing a nice espresso machine - no Kailua and they don't use fresh espresso it's out of a can - nope - ordered a gin drink which was made with a premix. Gross. Food- ordered a margherita flatbread and was told they just sold the last one to the only other people in the bar (remember they just opened for the day) so knew this was frozen anyhow and decided not to order food. The couples food came .. RED BARON frozen pizza. Cheese pizza. FROZEN .. claims margherita with buffalo mozzarella.. NO it's most certainly not any of those. Next. Never again. Yuck! read more

Cute bar, not quite what I had expected. When I saw it was a rooftop bar (online), I thought it would have more of a scenic view and elevated feel. It is smaller than the surrounding buildings so you can't really see past those and it feels a little closed in (though I know this is not something they can control). This bar has great cocktails and the staff are friendly and wear masks at all times, the patio has a great view....unfortunately those are the only redeeming qualities during this pandemic. The venue is nice, but the lay out is weird. What's the point of having a roof top bar if there's minimal space for people to stand and actually see the view. The view is actually just looking at other buildings so there isn't much to see, but it's the principle. The perimeter of the outdoor space is lined with tables and chairs which are typically filled if you get there fashionably late. Once people are seated they typically stay monopolizing the view so you might as well be in any bar. All that aside the drink I had was good and the decor is modern. Love the ambience of the outdoors rooftop lounge. The food was a major miss though.. They were out of the shrimp dish as well as the rigatoni.. The sangria was good.. I ended up eating an uneventful caesar salad. I also ordered the crispy potatoes which were not crispy at all and not cooked well... Our waitress was so sweet and apologized about the potatoes. It was not her fault, but the chef or cooks need to work on the menu item. I'm sure I'll be back to give them another try because I heard that the shrimp is good. I can only speak to a few people at this bar/restaurant, specifically: Britney, Carrie. Stacey and Lee. I've been staying here for 3 weeks now and the service has been phenomenal. Not only do they take the time to know you, your drinks, your habits etc. They take the time to connect with you. Unfortunately I had experienced some discrimination at another nearby well known establishment. It was Britney who made me feel welcome again. She listened to me when I was heart, offered me compassion and made me feel welcome. It was Carrie, Stacey and Lee who made me feel welcome night after night. The service that I experienced was beyond excellent. They made me feel like family when I'm away from my own and that type of service is hard to find. Overall they are welcoming, proficient (whatever drink I throw at them they know how to make it), kind and compassionate. It's rare you find a bar staff who cares. You'll find one here. I stayed at the AC hotel (very nice by the way) for a Thursday and Friday night on a business trip. I went to this bar both nights. They opened very recently and obviously have some kinks to work out; bar service was somewhat slow and from what a friend of mine said the cocktails were just decent. I decided to play it safe and stick with beers and straight liquor only, so my drinks were fantastic. The vibe here is really good; lots of people with great seating options and TVs. As I said above, the staff are working out some kinks, but overall service was great. I had a waitress that was very attentive and a bartender who genuinely seemed thrilled to be there, and you don't always get that. Totally understand people that are writing reviews about drink quality, but this is a great space with great staff that will only get better as time goes on. Worth checking out. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon during Grand Opening week and I can already see alot of potential in this rooftop lounge being a great meetup spot. The bar was out of quite a few things per the manager due to many basketball fans coming to watch the game on Saturday night. Outside on the patio they have screens and a projector which allows them to show games for example on the wall. Its a full bar with wine and beer on tap. Tapas are offered as menu items to nibble and nosh on while catching up with friends. Lots of comfortable seating both inside and out. I plan to come back for date night as I enjoy having the option to drink outside. Its something I did alot of in Miami and this rooftop bar kind of remind me of a place there except Level7 gives you views of North Hills in lieu of water. In anycase, if you like sunshine and blue skies or sunsets and stars with your cocktails..Level7 is a nice place to enjoy all that! read more
