And somehow... he even found a couple action figures he didn't already have, which is honestly rare because it feels like he owns everything. That alone made it worth the stop. The staff was super friendly, the store was clean and really well organized, and the selection was solid. Pricing felt competitive too, which I always appreciate. Definitely worth a visit if you're into collectibles--even if you're just tagging along like me, it's a fun stop. I just wish they had some "wife" seating so I could have relaxed while he shopped. I was really tired and sore from going to a concert the night before. But I did lean on the glass cases for some relief and no one got upset.

The events are well-coordinated and the hosts are always friendly, one even remembers me by name. The fellow magic patrons are generally friendly and generally less-competitive than you'll find at Enchanted Grounds or Wizard's Chest. (The events at this game store are usually stated as more about having fun than the competition.) I've always had fun here. All of these events have taken about as long as expected even though some start a little late due to demand. Sometimes events are coordinated online. When it comes to prizes, it's a pack-a-match win. You choose your won pack from current standard, in-universe set packs. Special events may have additional prizes. When it comes to cost/value for your money, they're better than at least half of the game stores I've played at for similar events. As far as the location, they're located along historic, downtown Golden. A lot of restaurants and shops up-and-down the street if you come early. Given when their events are usually timed, there's free ramp parking behind the store. This is my favorite game store I've ever played magic at out of a total of 9 between the areas of Longmont, Boulder, Golden, Littleton, Denver and Castle Rock.

When we found the shop, I really enjoyed talking with the two employees that worked on Memorial Day of 2026. They had a variety of unopened boxes for sale. They had a variety of cards that you could purchase for a dollar, five dollars, or more. One of my favorite features was the fact that they can help you get your cards graded for $33. I believe that I will come back and get a few of my personal favorite cards graded with the help of this establishment. I purchased a box of UFC cards and I'm excited to open them up with the family. It's a nostalgic feeling from when I was a child. Hopefully I get a good card and might even get it graded with the help of this establishment. Five of five stars easy for the helpful and friendly environment and professionalism.
