    Nivea!
    Sheila P.

Came here for the R&B Brunch with Nivea. It was my first time and I found free parking outside on the street due to it being a Sunday. The vibes were great the entire time I was there from being checked on the way in to getting a few drinks at the bar to receiving good service when ordering our food. There were only three options on the menu but I wasn't complaining as long as one of the options was veggie. I got the vegetarian chicken and waffles, which was delicious! We got a great table close to the stage and the DJ was playing the jams up until Nivea performed. When Nivea arrived, a few of us got in line to meet her in a private room one on one for a few minutes before her performance. It was the best experience. She was so humble. Her performance was amazing and everything overall was great! Loved the venue and would definitely come back for another event on the regular.

This review is solely based on the beef patties. They're so good I dream about them. I don't know what their secret is but their dough is super flaky. The filling is generous and really good! I actually ordered one to split with my boyfriend and that was a huge mistake. We ended up ordering several more. I've been here before, but whoever was working behind the bar today had exceptional customer service. I asked for a side of their orange pepper sauce which is amazing on the beef patties. I came back a second time and she remembered I like the orange sauce with it and packed it with my Togo order.

This the trash outside the restaurant, webster side. They don't manage a simple trash collection and it is like this for about 3 weeks!

I have never seen a business dealing with food/drink with such poor management in terms of sanitary conditions, and nuisance for the neighbors. A lot of noise outside, a trash (see photos). If you care about your health, avoid at all costs, give your money to business who cares about their patrons and surroundings.

Don't know what happened but the flavor/sauce for the jerk chicken and oxtail were WAYYYYY off and, I'm sorry to say this, but borderline gross! They were SWEET, not authentic tasting. Almost tasted like sweet BBQ sauce mixed with sweet and sour sauce, with a reddish pink tint. Wish we took a picture; only have pics from the previous times we ordered. This is our fourth time getting food here because we've always loved it. However, it never tasted how it did tonight and it has been at least 5-6 months since we been here so something must have changed. The only thing decent was the goat soup and beef patty. We ordered a large punch ($10 at that!) and instead received their ginger juice, which my husband didn't like (or order), so he didn't finish it. Our total was technically $69 but ended up being $100 because of all the additional fees and tax for delivery. Would probably not risk blowing money here again for fear that it would be as bad as it was today. Complete surprise at such a huge difference from previous times and such a let down when we waited over an hour for the delivery and were very hungry and excited to finally receive it.

I am always in search of authentic Caribbean food. It's hard to come by in the bay. Since shelter in place I have been ordering from level 13 every other week! The ox tails and the curry chicken are my go-to's. Recently, I picked up my order for a bunch of my friends since we were doing a low key (SIP) bday gathering. We had the jerk chicken, ox tails, curry chicken, Richards bake and fish, jerk with garlic sauce, and my new favorite: roti!!! I had no idea how fantastic the staff were, since I had been ordering delivery until now. Meeting the staff when I picked up the food made me love this place even more! They greeted me with big smiles and so much kindness. I tried their fresh ginger drink and wow! I am even more of a fan of this place since that experience of their welcome. Yay for authentic Jamaican and Trinidadian food! Takes me back to Jamaica and Brooklyn!

The oxtails would have been nice if the portions were bigger. It was soooo not worth the price. The saving grace was the Jamaican patties.

Sometimes you just need some spicy jerk chicken, rice & pea, a beef patty and pine 'n ginger!! On days like this I strongly suggest Level 13. I've been eating here since the beginning of the year and they have never failed me. The chicken is always moist and delicious with the tangy, moldy sweet and SPICY jerk!! The rice and peas is always delicious and my pine 'n ginger tasted so fresh it's feels like the made it to order. If you're in the mood for some super food Jamaican food; hit em up!

Curry chicken with coleslaw and coleslaw and plantains. Chickens also boneless.

Always been happy with this place. The amount of food and taste is always consistent and never disappointing. Ordered from an app and am extremely happy.

    Love these.

I like this place. They have good food. BUT!!! Why the hell are you guys sooooo stingy with the scotch bonnet salsa/hot sauce? I don't get it. Every time I ask for extra I don't get it. The Trini guy there. Cool as hell. Until you ask him for extra scotch bonnet sauce. The lady super nice. Asked her for extra scotch bonnet. She said it was in the bag. NOPE! Pls make more scotch bonnet sauce so the ppl who are fans of yours can enjoy without feeling like y'all don't like us or something. LOL. Seriously. If I get extra sauce next time I'll change my rating to 4 stars. Appreciate you.

Disappointment.....nothing like the picture on the online menu in Uber Eats.

Tallboy's martini menu is well-executed. While I didn't personally try one of the slushies, a friend ordered the espresso martini version and gave it a solid thumbs-up. Unfortunately, the experience falls apart when it comes to food and service. Waiting 30+ minutes for two hot dogs (after paying) is hard to justify. When I checked in with a server, she was curt and dismissive. She was quick to explain there was only one person in the kitchen, with no effort to offer a solution, timeline, or even basic courtesy. I understand staffing issues happen. However, customer service is a close second to concept. How an issue is communicated and addressed is what separates good service from bad. What's more frustrating is that these aren't customer problems to absorb. If the kitchen is understaffed, if tables aren't being cleared in a timely manner at a seat-yourself spot, those are management problems. Guests should not have to choose to leave without the food we paid for. There's a lot of competition out there, and concepts alone aren't enough to bring people back. I genuinely wanted that hot dog. That's probably the most disappointing part of the whole experience. Great drinks, solid ambiance, but the service needs serious attention.

Your whole party has to get the Restaurant Week Menu. So we all got their: Aperitif Cocktail - Tomato Beef or Purely Passion (Non Alcoholic) I got the Purely Passion. Good, nothing to write home about. Umami Tots This was really good! Very Crispy. Chili Cucumbers This one was actually really good. Szechuan Salt and Pepper Wings Good, but maybe too crispy? Wings are always good but this one didn't stand out for me. Mango Sorbet (They changed this from the Apple Sorbet that day) My favorite of the whole night. I usually don't like sorbet but this one was soft and easy to eat and has like a creamy like texture? Trying this made me want to try their other dessert item. We also ordered 2 add ons - the Hojicha Miso Tiramisu and the Korean Mapo Tofu. Hojicha Miso Tiramisu was OK. It contained too much alcohol for all of us and was bitter. Disappointing. I liked the Mapo Tofu! I liked that it was Crispy and that it came with rice. Drinks wise, my friends also got to try the Tomato Beef and White Rabbit. I don't really drink alcohol so I just sipped a bit. Tomato Beef was too alcoholic for me, couldn't really taste the tomato or the beef, but I could see what White Rabbit was going for. Overall, I'm really impressed by the food. I usually think Bar Food isn't very good, but this blew me away. Drinks are OK.
