Itinerary... 3.5/5 Guide... 3/5…read moreAccommodations... 4/5 This was definitely the B-List of the tours I look on my Ireland excursion. Out of my 5 tours taken, this was my least favorite. Let's start with the good... - I was a fan of Giants Causeway, and we had plenty of time to explore the site. It was one of my favorite historic sites on the island. I recommend you take the time to climb the hill if you are able. - The bus was well kept and had USB charging ports. What I didn't like... - There is no lunch stop on this itinerary. Belfast was the spot where we could stop, but that didn't occur until much later in the day. - Not enough time was allowed in Belfast to explore the city. With only 60 minutes to explore the second biggest city on the island, we had to make the choice between a rushed tour of the town or finding something to eat. - We made a 45 minute stop with no real purpose at a tree lined lane. - The guide was my least favorite of my Irish excursion. He did not do well at ensure guests were aware of and following expectations.

From the Viking hats they give you to the awesome guides who sing, joke, and interact with everyone, the whole experience is so much fun. Our guide was also incredibly knowledgeable, and we learned a ton about Dublin and Irish history without it ever feeling like a history lesson. And then we actually went into the water, which definitely captured our kids' attention! They were engaged the entire time, which after getting off a plane is really saying something. We loved every minute of it. At the end, our guide even took pictures with us, which was such a nice touch. Such an awesome and memorable way to start our time in Dublin. Highly recommend the Viking Splash Tour, especially with kids!

Our guide, Keith, was hilarious, energetic, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared so much interesting history and information while keeping the entire tour entertaining from start to finish. The mix of sightseeing, humor, and the unique amphibious experience made this one of the highlights of our trip. If you're visiting Dublin and want a fun and memorable way to explore the city, I definitely recommend doing this tour!

We are only here on vacation for four full days and had things to do every minute. When we go to get on the bus we are told we aren't on "the list" and had to wait. I produced the receipts that I am attaching to this review and was allowed admittance. Right before the tour is about to start we are told we have to get off the bus because again we aren't on the list. We argue that we bought the tickets in August and the tour company did not dispute that. But we didn't make it in to their spreadsheet somehow and they oversold the bus which became our problem. We have planned every minute of our short trip for months and they totally ruined it for no good reason other than they are shitty record keepers. *Then* they say they'll issue a refund in a few days. Wait a minute though I thought I wasn't on their list?! How can the issue a refund if I'm not in the list? I told them I'm not leaving till I'm given cash because I'm either in the list or not. They tried offering us a few other free tours but no way do I trust this company with my money or time again. We were so looking forward to a Halloween themed adventure on my short Dublin trip and they completely ruined it for us and didn't care. They kept saying "it's not our fault." Well it's certainly not my fault. Please don't trust this dishonest and scammy company with your money or time.

On the way, we had some bus trouble, which was unfortunate, but I will certainly not blame that on Irish Day Tours. In fact, I want to give them praise for the driver's attentiveness, making sure the passengers were safe, and the company being expedient in getting a new bus out to accommodate the rest of the tour. The Cliffs of Moher are one of the most beautiful sights I have ever laid my eyes on and we were blessed with great weather on this particular day. Sunny and not too windy (our visit was at the end of February but not sure how typical this is for that time of year). I believe we were allotted 1.5-2 hours at the Cliffs which we enjoyed every minute of. The stop in Doolin for lunch was charming and I was impressed with how quickly they were able to serve us. Unfortunately, we were not able to experience Galway on our tour due to the technical difficulties but I appreciate them being mindful of the schedule. I want to give particular praise to our driver and guide Kevin, who was absolutely fantastic in not only getting us there and back safely but is full of fascinating information on Ireland's history. As we continued to learn about Ireland over the course of the rest of our trip, I found myself wanting to ask Kevin his opinion on many topics. Thank you Kevin and IDT!

He sang a song or 2 along the way but he couldn't answer any of the questions asked and barely spoke. He dropped us at stops going in blindly. He was an older gentleman, so I understand the low energy but perhaps time to hang up his hat. As first timers to Ireland, I chose the Dark Hedges/Giants Causeway/Belfast tour because I was infatuated by photos of the Dark Hedges I saw online. I had no idea it looked NOTHING like it. It was really a waste of a stop. Giants Causeway was nice.. great photo op. It's a long walk downhill, then back up. Luckily, there was a bus that operates both ways for £1 (tap cards accepted ). We heard there was opihi in Belfast and found some along the way (we're from Hawaii). Super windy that day so we were getting flown all over the rocks. Only stop on the tour that was worth it. Next stop, Belfast City Centre. The tour guy dropped us off near City Hall with absolutely no direction. He told us about a mall nearby, but that's it. Anything worth seeing was already closed. I really wished he would've gave us more recommendations about what to do, where to eat, or anything worth seeing in the short amount of time we had there. After walking around City Hall, we walked to the mall to use the bathroom, stopped at a souvenir shop, then headed back. Total waste of time, again. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND! Sadiy, I purchased the tickets for this tour after the price had gone up about €10 from their 2025 prices. Tour was also supposed to end at 8pm but we got back by 7pm because he kept rushing us. Leaving early from stops. Felt rushed the whole time. I feel it was a total waste of money that could've been used elsewhere.

My trip started off in Dublin, where I was picked up with my group at the PaddyWagon store by The Spire. My first tour guide was Dan (Dan The Man), really lovely chap. He took us from Dublin to Connemara and Galway, where he dropped me and one of my mates to our hostel at The Dawson (we both booked the backpacker option while the other folks we were with booked the hotel option). I tried out a few places he recommended and spent the remaining evening around Galway. The next morning, we were picked up by Tom, who continued our tour to The Cliffs of Moher and lunch. Such a windy experience but what can you expect with the weather in Ireland? Still a must and Tom was very help. We headed to lunch at Frantic Chef. The team there was really nice and then I met my next tour guide as I had the two day overnight and was returning to Dublin where I got on Eduardo's trip back. The final stop was Bunratty Castle, which was a quick one (didn't mind because of the rain). Overall a really good experience. I think next time I wouldn't mind taking another tour from them.

The scenery was breathtaking, and I appreciated having time to explore the Lower Lake. As a Deaf traveler, however, I have a few recommendations that would make the experience more accessible and less stressful. At Glendalough, it would have been very helpful to receive a printed walking map of the Lower Lake with the recommended route, estimated walking times, key landmarks, and the exact bus departure time clearly marked. Having this information in a visual format would have allowed me to explore with greater confidence without worrying about getting lost or missing the return bus. I also learned only after the tour that it was imperative to return to the bus on time because of government regulations governing the driver's schedule. Since I did not have access to the driver's spoken announcements, I was unaware of how critical the return time was. Learning this only after the tour caused unnecessary stress and anxiety during my visit. Overall, I greatly appreciated the warm hospitality and the bus driver/tour guide's wonderful sense of humor. However, for the price I paid, I did not receive an experience that was equitable to that of hearing travelers. Hearing passengers had continuous access to the driver's commentary, safety information, schedule updates, and important instructions, while I did not. With a few simple accessibility improvements--such as providing visual pickup and drop-off instructions in advance, offering real-time speech-to-text captioning for all onboard announcements, supplying printed maps and itineraries at each stop, and reserving front-row seating for Deaf passengers--this tour could provide a truly equitable and inclusive experience for Deaf travelers.
