The cliffs were very very busy so not enough time to do it all and eat and go to the toilet. We walked half and opted to eat. The bathroom lines are very long, no fault of the tour. Our guide and driver were professional and mostly kind. We learned a lot about Irish history from Aaron and felt safe being driven by Stipe. I would have liked to know more about some of the specific things/places we saw as we saw them while driving in the country (I.e. ruins, stone walls, interesting mountains, the beaches, or the little walls) but in return learned so much about Ireland and its rich history. Aron and Stipe were a very well rounded pair. Thank you!

We had Michael driving and Aaron as our guide, and that combo absolutely made the day. Michael somehow got us everywhere in record time without it ever feeling rushed, which meant we had more time at each stop. On a 12-hour day, that matters. Huge credit to him for making the logistics feel effortless. Aaron was the real glue of the experience. He actually knew what he was talking about and didn't just recite facts -- he added personality, humor, and context that made everything stick. When you're spending that long together on a bus, the vibe is everything, and he nailed it. We lucked out with amazing weather at the Cliffs -- cold, but crystal clear visibility. We hit both viewing areas (even with restoration work going on), and it still felt expansive and worth every second. Pictures don't do it justice. Galway was a blast. We had about two hours in the city center, which was enough to explore, grab food, and soak up the energy -- though honestly, I could've stayed all day. The recommendations we got were spot on. The pacing was great, the bus was as comfortable as it realistically can be for a full-day tour, and it never felt chaotic or disorganized. I would 100% recommend this to first-time visitors to Ireland and honestly even to people coming back who want a seamless, well-run way to see the west coast without thinking about logistics. Michael and Aaron -- absolute pros.

He sang a song or 2 along the way but he couldn't answer any of the questions asked and barely spoke. He dropped us at stops going in blindly. He was an older gentleman, so I understand the low energy but perhaps time to hang up his hat. As first timers to Ireland, I chose the Dark Hedges/Giants Causeway/Belfast tour because I was infatuated by photos of the Dark Hedges I saw online. I had no idea it looked NOTHING like it. It was really a waste of a stop. Giants Causeway was nice.. great photo op. It's a long walk downhill, then back up. Luckily, there was a bus that operates both ways for £1 (tap cards accepted ). We heard there was opihi in Belfast and found some along the way (we're from Hawaii). Super windy that day so we were getting flown all over the rocks. Only stop on the tour that was worth it. Next stop, Belfast City Centre. The tour guy dropped us off near City Hall with absolutely no direction. He told us about a mall nearby, but that's it. Anything worth seeing was already closed. I really wished he would've gave us more recommendations about what to do, where to eat, or anything worth seeing in the short amount of time we had there. After walking around City Hall, we walked to the mall to use the bathroom, stopped at a souvenir shop, then headed back. Total waste of time, again. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND! Sadiy, I purchased the tickets for this tour after the price had gone up about €10 from their 2025 prices. Tour was also supposed to end at 8pm but we got back by 7pm because he kept rushing us. Leaving early from stops. Felt rushed the whole time. I feel it was a total waste of money that could've been used elsewhere.

On the way, we had some bus trouble, which was unfortunate, but I will certainly not blame that on Irish Day Tours. In fact, I want to give them praise for the driver's attentiveness, making sure the passengers were safe, and the company being expedient in getting a new bus out to accommodate the rest of the tour. The Cliffs of Moher are one of the most beautiful sights I have ever laid my eyes on and we were blessed with great weather on this particular day. Sunny and not too windy (our visit was at the end of February but not sure how typical this is for that time of year). I believe we were allotted 1.5-2 hours at the Cliffs which we enjoyed every minute of. The stop in Doolin for lunch was charming and I was impressed with how quickly they were able to serve us. Unfortunately, we were not able to experience Galway on our tour due to the technical difficulties but I appreciate them being mindful of the schedule. I want to give particular praise to our driver and guide Kevin, who was absolutely fantastic in not only getting us there and back safely but is full of fascinating information on Ireland's history. As we continued to learn about Ireland over the course of the rest of our trip, I found myself wanting to ask Kevin his opinion on many topics. Thank you Kevin and IDT!

Out of my 5 Irish tours, this was by far my favorite. This is the perfect little trip just outside Dublin. Be prepared to have the group split up between horseback riding, hiking, and another short activity. We participated in horseback through Killigar Stables and had a great time. Horses were perfect. Stable provides helmets and boots. (Those horrible ballistic riding vests are NOT required--thankfully). You are in Ireland so be prepared to ride in an English saddle and direct rein your horse (no western style neck reining). Notify tour if you prefer walk/trot or wish to belong to a canter group. While I'm capable of a gallop, I preferred choosing a leisurely walk/trot. Non riders are taken to other activities while we rode. We joined up again for lunch, which we chose to eat at Poppy's cafe and sit outside in the beautiful courtyard. Bring cash (Euros) if possible for these small businesses although they happily accept cards as well. Then the tour resumed through the Wicklow hills/mountains, stopping several times including a stop at Guiness Lake. Driver/guide was excellent!! (Tip: make sure to get all restrooming done before the drive begins as I don't recall places to stop en route) Lovely van tour ending at Glendalough where there is a place for refreshments, toilets, a bit of shopping. Also there's time to walk through the monastery ruins and walk to the lake, which is stunning. Price is reasonable for all that is included. We were returned to Dublin timely. Overall, a great experience, especially for horseback riders as these horses are not the "nose to tail" lethargic horses so often found in the US. very enjoyable day!

As much as Jameson is synonymous with Dublin, you would think they take up several blocks of downtown space...however, this distillery is tucked away on Bow Street in the Smithfield area of the city. It is a little hike on foot from city centre, but on a good day, it is a nice walk that is well worth the reward! The distillery is absolutely gorgeous. The outside if classic Irish infrastructure, then you walk inside and are transported into a modern, rustic, elevated and exciting space dedicated to all things Jameson! We purchased tickets for our guided tour and tasting ahead of time, and I highly recommend you doing the same. Our tour started with a quick introduction to things, then up the stairs we went to the Daily Grog where we got to choose our cocktail, and of course, I went with the Jameson Ginger! From there the tour started where we got to see the inner working of the process, including the ingredients along with a sensory station for tastes, smells, etc...The final tasting allowed us to sample a few different varieties of Jameson, including one that was only available on site. The tour was informative and fun. Our tour guide was fun, engaging, entertaining and an overall joy to wander around and connect with. Clearly a very passionate person about Jameson! After the tour, we wandered directly into the gift shop where we of course picked up a few pieces of swag. Immediately following that, we bellied up to the gorgeous bar downstairs for a final cocktail before heading back out. Overall, Jameson Distillery was one of the most memorable experiences of our time in Dublin, and I highly recommend it!

You meet in the morning at Hilton Garden Inn and off we drive 2 hours to Northern Ireland. Robbie was our guide and he made us laugh a lot despite the terrible rainy weather. He was an extra on GoT and died 7x, and he got to live and tell us all about it. We visited many amazing and beautiful locations from S1 and S2 while walking close to 8 miles in the cold and rain. Do not wear your pretty shoes here because it was a muddy day for us. We started out at Tollymore Forest, visited Winterfell, and ended the day at Inch Abbey where Robb Stark was pledged King of the North. Because of the awful weather, the Inch Abbey was the only spot we got to wear the cloaks and play with all the props. This made me a bit bummed when I saw the gallery online and other groups got so many nice pictures in their cloaks throughout the tour. Our group only got ONE group photo together. *sad face* Alas, we will just have to visit Ireland again and perhaps take the tour from Belfast next time.

He taught us so much about the history of whiskey, where it originated, and how it's made today. We chose the classic tasting, which included three different whiskeys to sample. One of the most interesting things we learned was how adding just a drop of water can completely change the chemistry and flavor profile of whiskey. The tastings were all very distinct: **Skellig** (my personal favorite) - sweet, rich, and warm with a woodsy aroma and smooth flavor. **Fercullen Falls** (my husband's favorite) - smoky and peppery with a slightly sweet scent, followed by a spicy, woodsy flavor and a light vanilla finish. **Ardara** (not my favorite) - heavily peated and smoky. To me, it smelled like burnt rubber and old tires, with a bitter flavor and strong burnt aftertaste that lingered. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and a great way to learn more about Irish whiskey in a fun and approachable setting. Highly recommend for both whiskey lovers and beginners alike!

The pacing was excellent, and while the tour moves from room to room, there are benches available if you'd like to sit during parts of the presentation. The tour moves through a few themed rooms tracing the history of Irish whiskey and ends in a cozy bar. It's both entertaining and informative, touching not only on the craft of whiskey making but also the economics, trade, and history that shaped the industry and Ireland. Our guide, Andrew, was so delightful--engaging, knowledgeable, and clearly someone who enjoys bringing the stories to life. The whole experience takes under an hour and is a nice respite from the bustling crowds outside. And of course, the highlight: tasting several excellent Irish whiskeys at the end. I came away with a better appreciation for tasting than I had before. There's a small gift shop in the area where you purchase your tour ticket, including small merchandise bearing clan crests. Fun, educational, and well organized, the Irish Whiskey Museum turned out to be one of the most enjoyable and unexpectedly memorable stops of our time in Dublin.
