From reservation to check out this hotel was perfect! Our room (#5) was charming, quiet, spacious, and most importantly comfortable. The staff (Bruce) was incredibly helpful and overall pleasant. We will definitely be back and we won't be staying anywhere else in Bisbee. We highly recommend this hotel to any and everyone!

Lofted Arizona Room (if that makes any sense) faces the alley to the rear of the hotel.

We loved it here. We've never stayed at a Boutique Hotel and this place was very quaint and charming. Located off of the main thoroughfare, everything in Old Bisbee was accesible on foot from this hotel. Stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. The rooms were clean and furnished well.

It was like we were eloping, only we've been married three years. It was a spur-of-the-moment, lovers' getaway on a Tuesday night. A mad dash to Bibsee, the place we were wed, to find the last vacancy in town at the Letson Loft. And, oh, we were lucky to find it! My husband had discovered them online and called only an hour ahead. When we arrived - and took in the historical building and our designer-magazine-ready room - he was SO proud of himself! Every decor and each detail was sheer, elegant bliss. The Letson boasts the thread count of its bedding, and appropriately so. Just heavenly. All of it. As mentioned (and as are most things in Bisbee) the building is very old: set above storefronts, peek-a-boo exposed bricks, Victorian skylights, and hardwoods that have borne the tread of countless, now ghostly feet. Right up my antique-lovin' alley! I once lived in a century-old building, so I'm familiar with the funhouse feel of standing cattywampus. I set a plastic bottle of water on the floor of our room and watched it roll into the kitchen. But I assure you, there is no danger of rolling out of their luxurious beds. One of the most romantic nights we'd ever spent in Bibsee, rivaling our very wedding night. So if you're looking for a hotel with a B&B feel and an artist's touch, this Loft's for you. *Niki Note: In the nightstand I found a journal encouraging guests to write about their stay. Just guess how much I loved this!

We ended up in a spacious queen room with a kitchenette.

Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Bisbee. This experience was almost a disaster! I made a reservation through the online system for Room 5, which looked like a lovely room worth a king bed. The day of check in I called to let the innkeeper know we were running behind schedule only to discover my reservation hasn't gone through! I was devastated but the inn had two rooms open and was able to accommodate our stay. The innkeeper also offered to find us a room at another local inn if we preferred that. We chose to take a queen bed room at the Letson, and the stay was lovely. The inn is gorgeous, historic but comfortable and very clean. We were able to park in the alley behind the inn, and the innkeeper was very friendly and helpful. The location of this inn is perfect - many of Bisbee's best attractions and restaurants are within walking distance. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend this inn!

Second stay here and we love, love, love this place!! Great, convenient location (walking distance to all the fun stuff like shops, brewery, bars, coffee shop, and restaurants). Beautifully decorated and maintained. The building is old and up a narrow flight of steps (no elevator that I saw) but so lovingly restored. Each room is a little different with preservation on maintaining the old style vibe (except the bathroom thankfully, I like my bathroom modernized). Keep in mind, it is noisy and creaky (they do provide ear plugs for night if you like) but I love that wood creak so didn't it bother me. Beds are comfortable and there is access to a small fridge and computer if you need. Check in/check out is fast and efficient and friendly. They even provide a little continental breakfast in the morning. Made for a wonderful stay!

I absolutely loved staying at this lovely historical hotel! I was so impressed with the modern/Victorian feel but I was also impressed with the historical integrity upkeep as well! Pros: everything! We stayed in room 1 and I hear each room is unique. The bed is comfortable, and room 1 faces the streets w/ a bay window and a couple chairs to perch into. Coffee, fruit, and select pastries are provided in the morning for breakfast.. which was perfect for us. Cons: noise level from the streets can get loud from all of the bikers and bar goers but that's why the hotel provided ear plugs in your room (didn't need them, I'm a hard sleeper). We will be back, thank you Letson Loft Hotel for a great experience!

It's a very cozy, wholesome location that you can spend the day lounging in- once you're done exploring the town, of course. I stayed in a one-bedroom suite on the ground floor; it had a decently sized kitchen & living room, along with a front balcony that allowed me to sit on the porch by the main entrance. The kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies, a microwave, fridge (w/ a Brita filter) & a coffee machine. The living room included a small, electric fireplace that worked well in keeping the area toasty in January. There was also a sink that was placed outside the bathroom, so someone can wash their hands while another person does more private matters separately. The bedroom had a King-sized mattress, and a door that led to a backyard where you can sit while looking at a painting of 'Virgin de Guadalupe.' When you enter the hotel, you're more than likely to not encounter any staff, since they leave everything you need for your stay in a slot on a large counter. You can't miss this spot; it is to the right when you first walk in- passed the staircase. If you do need help for any reason though, the office is right next to the counter labeled, "STAFF ONLY." This was a new way of doing customer service for me, which I really liked, and I hope to find other hotels that can manage this system. The location is beautiful and gives a sense that you're not in a bustling city like Los Angeles, but a more relaxed vibe that some people may long to have back, before the days where taking selfies became the norm. It's almost like the townspeople know each other as good friends, as you hear their laughter from the hotel, and the guitar music they play at local bars. Bisbee is known as a town revived by hippies, so that's a big part of its charm. You can watch a comedy show, visit the historical museum, go on a ghost tour, or explore the mountains at the Queen Mine Tour- all within walking distance! I couldn't find much wrong about the hotel or Bisbee in general, except for one major thing...those darn streets! Specifically, I'm talking about the street you have to drive up to park by the hotel. If you plan to drive here, then get ready for some narrow pathways. I was always worried being in the car and another vehicle would be driving the opposite direction. Don't be fooled by those "two-way street" signs, those paths are NOT capable of having two cars on one road. When I left the hotel, I ran to the bottom of the street to make sure nobody would driving up to block our car. The difficulty driving to the hotel can be a hinderance, so I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have serious issues walking up & down hills or anxiety over fighting over a slim street. Otherwise, if you're looking for a break from this busy world of ours, then going to Bisbee and staying at the El Dorado Suites Hotel will ease your nerves and let you enjoy the simple things in life.

We were so excited to stay in the historic spot in Bisbee and super happy they had availability. We overlooked the dingy carpet, grungy tile, dusty everything and booked rooms for ourselves and my mother in law. We are all really easy going folks that take road trips together quite a bit...not super picky... BUT... EEEEEWWWWWWW! Not only are the corners and crevices of the hallways, lobby, restaurant and rooms filthy, the pool hadn't been cleaned or cared for in obviously more than a year. Dead weeds and old spider webs, etc. all over. Windows were super dirty throughout the place.... Why did we stay? Ugh. We were too weary from traveling and the beds and towels were actually obviously very clean and we thought we could deal with two nights. We did. But man, were we ready to get into our clean car!!! Let's talk about the bar and restaurant that we gave a chance, too. Jeeeeeeezus! Unkempt bartender sat at the end of the empty bar with the music blaring so loudly that it was almost impossible to order. We wanted classic. gin martinis and were told they didn't have olives. Website boasted full bar. Well, we're cool... ok... give us a twist Abby make sure we can taste the vermouth. "Of course," she said. Ummmmm.... Nah. We got two wine glasses with straight house gin. (Asked for Bombay Sapphire) barely shaken. No twist. We wanted a drink, so we drank them and sat outside so we could hear ourselves think. So dumb to give the restaurant a chance. HORRIBLE, tough steak and uncooked brussel sprouts. Meal was inedible. Don't do it. Also - no joke about being haunted. Had pressure against the bed, cords that were on the floor suddenly dropped to the floor like they had been picked up and dropped; door creaked open and cold air filled the room. NOOOO! Do not spend your money here. We should have checked it out before paying for two rooms for two nights. They're getting 2 stars because the linens were clean and they had vacancies.

We had last stayed here about ten years ago, and this was probably our third or fourth visit over the past 25 years. The hotel has a fantastic location allowing guests to walk to the wonderful restaurants and shops in downtown Bisbee. As usual, we booked the Captains Suite. This suite occupies an old street level storefront two doors down from the hotel's bar. The bar serves as the hotel checkin and lobby. (More than ten years ago there was at least one other street level suite, a cowboy-themed suite. More than 10 years ago we saw some upstairs hotel rooms with different fun decoration themes.) The Captains Suite is a spacious suite with a large common area, two bedrooms and one bath. It is decorated in a fun way with a mariners' theme. I like the ship's figurehead, the model boats, life preservers, fishing nets, paintings of ships, old nautical maps, etc. The suite's common area has a large table with 6 chairs, a sofa, end table, a small fridge, a TV cabinet, etc. My husband's and my bedroom had bedside tables with good reading lights on each side of the bed. The problem with both bedrooms was that the mattresses were worn out, too soft and close to uncomfortable. We enjoyed visiting the hotel's bar which is two doors away from the Captains Suite. We had drinks there and enjoyed the ambiance. A bartender told us that the hotel recently closed its kitchen and decided to expand its musical stage, which we saw under construction. The bartender said that you can order food while you are in the bar and someone will bring it from a restaurant across the street. We decided it would be easier to just go to the restaurant. I think the restaurant is Taqueria Outlaw. The hotel bartender told us that the husband and wife who own the hotel are very interested in music and each belong to two or more bands. Their interest in music is reflected in the fact that the bar provides music at night. There is a sign in the bar that music (probably live?) can play in the bar until 10:00 pm. Our two night stay in the Captains Suite took place on a Wednesday and Thursday in mid October. I did not enjoy listening to the music coming from the bar. It was not relaxing. Thankfully, the music ended promptly at 10:00 pm both nights, as advertised by a sign in the bar. However, I don't like listening to other people's music when I am trying to relax in a hotel room. I would have preferred that the music ended at 8:00 pm or maybe 9:00 pm. However, that is a business decision made by the hotel owners. On the past occasions we stayed at this hotel I don't recall a hearing music while in the Captains Suite, but maybe I just forgot. Another problem with our stay in the Captains Suite is that we could not get the TV to work. We forgot to tell management about the problem with the TV. I was not interested in watching TV, but my sister-in-law wanted to watch and was disappointed. The room was clean. When we requested more towels, we got them.
