I love this boutique hotel in Bisbee, AZ! With just 9 rooms, decorated in a curated historic style, the building has been carefully renovated and modernized. Each room has a mix of antiques and updated furnishings, wonderfully comfortable beds with luxury linens and designer amenities. Breakfast, coffee and tea are served each morning in the lobby. The new suite has kitchen, living and dining areas, in addition to a King bed and bath - great for a group gathering! The Letson Loft is perfectly located on historic Main St in Old Bisbee. Staff are lovely and accommodating and will book reservations for local restaurants, events and experiences. read more

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at this lovely hotel (Room 2). The room was comfortable, clean and had a bay window for people-watching and fresh air. The hotel location was convenient to all of Old Bisbee. The hosts were friendly, attentive and helpful in recommending activities and restaurants - especially the recommendation for an amazing private Big Jeep tour of the region with Travis! We were there during a relatively quiet time with some loud car noise for a brief time one night. We noted that we'd need to sleep with the earplugs they provided, if it were during an event weekend. read more

We arrived at 2:30 p.m. to check-in and the front door to the street was locked. Nobody answered when we knocked. You can hear every single noise outside. Barely slept four hours. Loud trucks and motorcycles driving down the Main Street outside our window all night. The room was well decorated, and everything was very clean. However, the lack of sleep killed everything. read more

It was like we were eloping, only we've been married three years. It was a spur-of-the-moment, lovers' getaway on a Tuesday night. A mad dash to Bibsee, the place we were wed, to find the last vacancy in town at the Letson Loft. And, oh, we were lucky to find it! My husband had discovered them online and called only an hour ahead. When we arrived - and took in the historical building and our designer-magazine-ready room - he was SO proud of himself! Every decor and each detail was sheer, elegant bliss. The Letson boasts the thread count of its bedding, and appropriately so. Just heavenly. All of it. As mentioned (and as are most things in Bisbee) the building is very old: set above storefronts, peek-a-boo exposed bricks, Victorian skylights, and hardwoods that have borne the tread of countless, now ghostly feet. Right up my antique-lovin' alley! I once lived in a century-old building, so I'm familiar with the funhouse feel of standing cattywampus. I set a plastic bottle of water on the floor of our room and watched it roll into the kitchen. But I assure you, there is no danger of rolling out of their luxurious beds. One of the most romantic nights we'd ever spent in Bibsee, rivaling our very wedding night. So if you're looking for a hotel with a B&B feel and an artist's touch, this Loft's for you. *Niki Note: In the nightstand I found a journal encouraging guests to write about their stay. Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Bisbee. This experience was almost a disaster! I made a reservation through the online system for Room 5, which looked like a lovely room worth a king bed. The day of check in I called to let the innkeeper know we were running behind schedule only to discover my reservation hasn't gone through! I was devastated but the inn had two rooms open and was able to accommodate our stay. The innkeeper also offered to find us a room at another local inn if we preferred that. We chose to take a queen bed room at the Letson, and the stay was lovely. The inn is gorgeous, historic but comfortable and very clean. We were able to park in the alley behind the inn, and the innkeeper was very friendly and helpful. The location of this inn is perfect - many of Bisbee's best attractions and restaurants are within walking distance. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend this inn! read more

Second stay here and we love, love, love this place!! Great, convenient location (walking distance to all the fun stuff like shops, brewery, bars, coffee shop, and restaurants). Beautifully decorated and maintained. The building is old and up a narrow flight of steps (no elevator that I saw) but so lovingly restored. Each room is a little different with preservation on maintaining the old style vibe (except the bathroom thankfully, I like my bathroom modernized). Keep in mind, it is noisy and creaky (they do provide ear plugs for night if you like) but I love that wood creak so didn't it bother me. Beds are comfortable and there is access to a small fridge and computer if you need. Check in/check out is fast and efficient and friendly. They even provide a little continental breakfast in the morning. Made for a wonderful stay! read more

I absolutely loved staying at this lovely historical hotel! I was so impressed with the modern/Victorian feel but I was also impressed with the historical integrity upkeep as well! Pros: everything! We stayed in room 1 and I hear each room is unique. The bed is comfortable, and room 1 faces the streets w/ a bay window and a couple chairs to perch into. Coffee, fruit, and select pastries are provided in the morning for breakfast.. which was perfect for us. Cons: noise level from the streets can get loud from all of the bikers and bar goers but that's why the hotel provided ear plugs in your room (didn't need them, I'm a hard sleeper). Love the hotel and loved Bisbee. There is something so homey, warm, and spacious about this place. Even if I were a snobby New Yorker, it would warm me right up. The high ceilings are gorgeous. The location is perfectly perfect. Our rooms faced the street and I slept wonderfully. A motorcycle here and there put me right back to sleep. Bruce, who checked us in, was incredibly accommodating, and steady in his work to see if we needed more of anything. How could we need more towels? There were plenty of everything in the room, including gorgeous bathrobes. We ate so well thanks to his helpful recommendations. read more

This place was great! Stayed here for our anniversary, everyone who works there are really friendly. Laura quickly responded to all questions prior to arrival. The room was beautiful- we stayed in room 8 which is towards the back. Huge ceilings with skylight in the room you sleep in. There is a shade so you can close the skylight which was great. Cute little kitchen area with full sink coffee maker mini fridge. Coffee Cups - wine glasses and some extra plates and bowls. The bathroom was nice- loved the shower. Will definitely be back again! I stayed for a weekend, at the hotel, the week before all the closings due to the Corona Virus. I am glad I was able to get in a fun weekend before all this started! I went for a girls' weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this wonderful hotel. It is super clean and beautifully decorated. I had a room facing the street and did not feel it was noisy at all. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The morning breakfast was simple, yet satisfying. In the morning, we would all gather on the back closed in porch to have coffee. It was a very lovely porch and made staying there extra special. I would highly recommend this place. The location is fabulous. It is right across the street from Cafe Roka, next door to a wonderful restaurant, and on a street lined with fun shops. read more

After the night I spent at another location which will remain nameless I was so thankful for a nice clean room and bathroom. As well, great windows that blocked the sounds of the night. This hotel claims the distinction of being the oldest brick building still in use in Arizona, but they have more fame to claim: 1. They provide the most comfortable terry bathrobes for guests to wrap in after indulging in a shower or bath. 2. They cater to the business traveler and provide standard office accommodations: fax, fast internet, printer, etc. 3. The general hotel environment has a quiet, peaceful tone, and you can actually get some work done if you need to. Letson Loft surprisingly does not abound with paranormal and stories thereof, like every other place in Bisbee. They have a shockingly modest number of ghosts - only 1 - a little boy who like to play with pennies, so if you find one, take it for luck or leave it for him with the staff. One quirk, but NOT exclusive to Letson: check in is between 3 - 6 pm. I loved my stay. read more

Our room overlooked Main St., It was very nice and warmly decorated. Only the best linens and a complimentary bath robe, it's like a home away from home! Our stay was very quiet and relaxing! Very Cozy , it makes for a relaxing base-camp for any outing or just staying in. The Town of Bisbee is a real Hoot with tons of things to do. The Mine tour was a great adventure and so much fun, a definite must do! Explore the winding twisting streets and discover great bars, restaurants and Antique shops. it's also a stones throw from the Legendary town of Tombstone, a Must see on your trip. I suggest exploring south Bisbee also, it's where all the locals eat and shop. Try Jimmie's Hot Dog shop it's a Great place to get a Dog any way you like it. and there's a Starbucks in the Safeway, for all those with an addiction like me. just head south (highway 80) past the big hole in the ground and hang right (highway 92). P.S. from the Safeway parking lot you can see into Mexico, so explore and have a good time. read more

I'm having a wonderful stay at this historic hotel, situated in the heart of downtown Bisbee. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the furniture is comfortable and attractive. The heat in the room works. Everything is extremely pleasant. There's a little sunroom in the back. I think there's another public room somewhere but I haven't gotten there yet. The whole place is both homey and fancy. Every room is different. The decorations are lovely. The place is quiet. You get your own thermostat. Fluffy bathrobes and fluffy bath towels. I didn't try the fan or the TV but assume they work. Wifi has worked without a problem since I got in. There's also a computer nook for guests to use. Upon check in, you get a (short) tour with as many historical details as you can handle. A few caveats: if you're sensitive to street noise, ask for a room in the back. If you can't climb stairs, go somewhere else. The hotel is on the second floor, up a long and steep flight of stairs. If you require constant attention, this hotel is not for you...it's only staffed for 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon. Also, the toilet paper was scratchy. That was the only thing I really didn't like. Continental breakfast is just a plate of fruit, your choice of OJ, coffee, or tea, and a dish of baked goods. I would definitely stay here again. read more

The hotel is a perfect place to stay while visiting Bisbee. It is right in the middle of old town and walking distance to pretty much everything. It was very clean, comfortable, beautifully remodeled, and accommodating. It has rules about the age of children (min age 12) that can stay there, but I was grateful for that as this was an adult getaway for my fiancé and me. It also doesn't have all the amenities a large hotel would have (i.e., huge ice maker, gym, coffee maker in the room, or mini fridge) - however this town doesn't have the vibe for that type of hotel. We would absolutely book that hotel every time we visit this fun little town. read more

This place was great! Our room (#2) was very quaint. After a day of hiking or shopping it was a very nice place to kickback and relax. The bay window looks out over Main Street and makes for great people watching. You can hear what is going on outside you room, but it is to be expected from such and old building. The management has included ear plugs in case you are a particularly light sleeper. We will certainly head back here the next time we want a to spend a weekend in Bisbee. read more

We spent last night at this historical hotel located right in the center of Old Bisbee. We booked Room 7 on-line and received a confirmation email and a set of detailed instructions on parking, etc. As instructed, we walked up to the second floor in the rear of the hotel and rang the buzzer. Laura was there right away and welcomed us. She must not have been too busy because she immediately indicated our room (which is in the back) without asking our name. Room 7 has two queen beds, flat screen tv, free wi-fi, bottled water and a separate sitting room with two loveseats. Windows open to the alley behind the hotel allowing for fresh air. My only complaint was the lack of a/c and this being the end of June it would have been welcomed. Also at the rear is a communal sitting area with many potted plants just perfect for enjoying the continental breakfast, or just reading. There is a small room with brochures about Bisbee and a community refer with ice. There are even loaner umbrellas for those afternoon summer showers. We have stayed in two other Bisbee hotels and should we return to Bisbee, the Letson Loft will be our hotel of choice. If you go in the summer I would really recommend a room with an outside window to allow fresh air - the ceiling fans just don't get it cool enough. My husband and I were more than satisfied with our stay at the Letson Loft Hotel. Bed was super comfortable, wonderful continental breakfast that included cheese, muffins, scones, several fresh fruits, yogurt, orange juice, coffee and tea. Extra provisions to make you feel at home included: bottled water, wine glasses in the room, accessibility to a wine opener and refrigerator, travel information pamphlets, and even earplugs in case you left your's at home. The renovations made at the Letson Loft Hotel make it far more comfortable than the Copper Queen. Hands down, we will most definitely stay here again on our next visit to Bisbee. read more

I was absolutely blown away by the Letson Loft Hotel. It combined the ambiance of an old historic building with all of the modern comforts. We stayed in room #8. It had an extremely comfortable bed with luxurious bedding, two sky lights, a kitchenette, dining table, and a modern bathroom with all the amenities. It was extremely clean as well. The location is definitely a plus because it is located near everything right on main street. I can say with confidence that this is one of the nicest hotels in Bisbee. read more

wow, what a getaway! first of all, the best sleep i've had in awhile!! also, the owner is so friendly & sweet, giving us a full tour & making sure we have everything we need. my fiance even accidentally stained the crisp white towl with newly dyed hair & she didn't mind at all! what a sweetie! there is a cabinet full of movies for you to watch after the town closes down for the night 7 a kitchen downstairs if you wan't to store your leftover or chill your wine. and, for being on a busy street, there isn't too much noise which is wonderful & the light blocking shades make for an easy late riser morning. read more

Feeling very discriminated against from this place tried to book a room and the women told us we can't stay there because our daughter is 3 years old and they don't take children under 12 years old yet no where on there website does it say that. We are now driving back in a ice storm too benson hoping to get accommodation there. This place has no sign in there door that says there is no under 12 years allowed just nothing!!! read more

Great place to stay for our first adventure to Bisbee! The location was perfect, right in the middle of town, and it is a beautifully restored historical hotel above the shops below. We chose Room #7, which faces the back of the hotel, and we had an incredibly quiet & peaceful night's rest - perfect for our escape from the hustle & bustle of Phoenix! The room was spacious, comfortable and extremely clean and I loved taking a nice bath in the clawfoot tub. We enjoyed the continental breakfast of fresh pastries and fruit before we headed for home, too. We'll definitely stay here again if we're in the area and we highly recommend staying here. (I must add that we fully support the hotel's policy of no children under the age of 12. It stands to reason that noise would be a factor in an older accommodation such as this, and surely the policy is meant to ensure that other guests, escaping from noisy city life, enjoy a peaceful stay. The stairways could also be hazardous for young children.) read more
