It's not an exaggeration to say that Michael has changed my life. I really enjoy my sessions, too, and not because they're easy - Michael pushes me hard and keeps me honest (while knowing my limits). I really like his holistic approach to training, which goes beyond the obvious strength/aerobic workout and takes into account flexibility, balance and posture as well. I learn something from him almost every session. And he's a wonderful human being, too - easygoing, smart, fun to talk to without being overly chatty, and never judgmental (he's understanding of my vices, in other words). I used to think personal training was an indulgence that I couldn't afford, but after almost 4 years I know my sessions with Michael are a bargain, and absolutely essential to my physical and mental wellbeing. At the end of every workout he always asks, "How are you feeling?", and my answer is always the same: "Way better than when I came in."

I decided to bite the bullet when after passing up to some deals I got a really good Black Friday deal offered. Pay one year in full (fit plan) and get one year for free (BOGO). It helped to that Robby, from the Edge called me too to remind me, after my son had signed me up for info. So on Black Friday I got my deal and I'm set now until 2023. Cool thing that I can walk into any Edge location to have my work out. So we are now almost entering 2025 and I have been pretty consistent for the last 3 years. 2024 they didn't have the BOGO deal, but I paid 2024 in full and they added 3 free months. I have been enjoying the Edge the last 3 years, and I may add more.

Almost a month ago, I stepped out of my comfort zone, reached out to a complete stranger, and asked…read morefor help with making a change in myself. For me, the gym has always been an intimidating place where I wander around guessing what exercises I think I should do, how many, and how much weight I should be using . Maybe I could eventually make some progress that way, but I have been down that road enough times to know I never get very far and end up quitting. I needed some guidance. I was nervous since I've never worked with a personal trainer before, but Arsen put my nerves at ease right away. We talked about my goal and how I would reach it, and before I knew it, I was "sitting down having a cup of coffee" -which is not as fun as it sounds - since I quickly learned this meant doing a wall squat. Arsen shows me how to do the exercises I need and most importantly how to do them properly. He provides workouts along with videos incase you forget how to do something he showed you for days you're not there ,goes over your nutrition with you, and is always accessible if you have any questions. He's professional, yet fun. I am always laughing during our sessions, even when I'm dying on the last set and he's told me I "only" have 10 seconds left about 15 times. His gym eliminates that self conscious feeling of looks from other people because when you work out it is just the two of you. Certain exercises I had to start with low weights because I'd never worked out that part of my body before, I told him I felt like a whimp, but he always reminds me that everyone has to start somewhere. He knows how it feels to be unhappy with your body, because he has been there too. His motivation and genuine interest in your success are infectious. He makes you feel super comfortable and says nothing but encouraging things. Knowing the hard work and time he puts into you as a client gives you another level of accountability. This time I feel like I won't give up, because i know I wouldn't just be letting myself down, but I'd be letting someone else down also. Most times I forget I'm paying him because it feels like working out with a supportive, knowledgeable friend. Though, instead of spending money on unnecessary material items that will lose their value in a few years as I always do, I feel like I'm finally investing in myself, something that will never lose value. My particular goal will take time, and will not be achieved overnight but I'm not worried about the time, it will pass anyway. With Arsen's guidance, I am eating healthier and already feel better about myself. I have more energy and no longer feel as self conscious going to the gym. Rest days have become my least favorite days because I am always looking forward to the next session. I am super excited to continue my journey with Arsen and feel confident that if he can help me with my goal, he can help you with yours too!

Working with Personal Training Alliance is one of the best things I have done in decades for myself…read moreand indirectly for my family. Our partnership began on a Sunday afternoon when both Marc and Frank came to my home for the initial consultation. Their professional approach included a thorough understanding of my status, goals and expectations. They clearly explained their recommendations and how we could move forward together. To put things in context I am a 74 year old male that has been complacent towards diet and exercise for most of my life. I came to realize that my complacency was no longer a viable lifestyle and I needed guidance with a sustainable plan that would address building strength and good nutritional habits. For the past 5+ months Frank has been coming to my house 3 days a week to work with me in meeting those goals. I couldn't be more pleased with the progress we have made. Frank is the perfect personal trainer. He is professional, respectful and very personable and that coupled with his expertise and knowledge has made my experience rewarding and enjoyable. Frank knows how to motivate and challenge me. His first concern is my safety. He always makes sure I am executing my exercises properly and that I understand the purpose of each exercise. He also makes sure I keep up with proper nutrition. Personal Training Alliance and Frank have exceeded my expectations in every way and I look forward to building on the progress we have made together.

His skill set is advanced for sure, but what really puts him over the top is his ability to not only listen, but to accommodate. He comes directly to my home and provides any and all equipment we need to work with that day. So all I needed to do was be ready to workout and be willing to follow his nutrition recommendations. In the short 12 weeks I've been with him so far, I've lost 25lbs and 5 inches from my waist alone. I highly recommend Marc Ouellette because his abilities expand far beyond helping with weight loss. If you're preparing for any kind of a fitness challenge or just want to get back into shape, he will listen to your needs and concerns and work with you to accomplish your goals. Thanks Marc!
