You just get referred to another service provider for engines. and electronics. Would not recommend selling your boat at LCM. Limited exposure and unclear terms of sale. I always try to buy local from family owned companies. Did not go well this time.

Sought this place out because it's a family run shop and I prefer to support these kinds of places over big corporations and online retailers. These prices are as of 7/18/2025, when I made my in-store purchases: -Cannon Explorer FX 2-piece fiberglass kayak paddle (Manufacturer List $89.95, Dale's Price $159.99) -Orange Life Preserver, adult or child (Walmart List $8, Dale's Price $22.99) -2 yr PA unpowered boat registration (pa.gov registration site $22, Dale's Price $40) I also purchased Yakima JayLow rooftop kayak carriers, which Dale either also overcharged me for, or charged me $216 to clip the carriers onto my existing roof crossbars and load my 2 kayaks... They also sold me a brand new kayak with a huge gouge on the underside. Of course I didn't notice this until I got it home and was taking the kayak off my roof. (Remember, I paid them $216 to load my boats for me.) I firmly believe that he knowingly sold me the boat damaged, but I won't get into that right now. When I brought the gouge to Dale's attention, after a LITERAL MONTH of back and forth, he still wouldn't give me an appointment time slot to bring my kayak in to get it fixed. Nor would he tell me what they were planning to do to fix it, who would do the work, and if that work would void my boat's warranty. He ACTED sincere and like he wanted to help, but when it came down to it dragged his feet and blew me off. I see others have had the same treatment from him. So beware- don't fall for the good guy act. This guy is slimy. Oh! And this is the kicker- I inquired if they would take the kayak carriers back, since I was unable to load and unload my kayaks from my roof (one kayak is a tandem- just too big and heavy for my small stature). He said they wouldn't, which I understand. But THEN he tried to tell me I should come back and buy a trailer from him, to solve my problem- the Yakima Low Rider. He would sell it to me for the bargain price of $2700! It retails on the Yakima website for $2199... Good luck to you all and happy kayaking! What a great hobby; we've enjoyed it immensely. I just have to forget about Dale and all the money he managed to squander from our naive, single-income family.

WTF is that? apes installed with chrome accessories...6 weeks later I pick the bike up. Insisted i sign off on mechanical liability because he didn't have time to road test it...chrome ALL finger-printed up w/ oily smears. Throttle stuck wide open, loose screws holding the throttle body on... so he had to tighten, then loosen, move it back & forth to make it let go, then re-tighten...in the rain...then said it was MY responsibility.... then I asked for his posted 10% military discount. Ha! Another ruse. Said no, then excused it away by telling me he wasn't getting it from his suppliers...when I went in to pay the full price, sign off accepting my bike "as-is", he said the could give me the 10%.....the exact amount for 2hours of labor he tacked on for removing a couple of stink bugs...what a GD abortion...badmouthed everything, the bike, a stud he broke off, his paint guy that sucks, a couple of stink bugs, dirt under the frame, some surface rust...everything!! I couldn't wait to get out of there. Took it right to the Harley dealership. I made a mistake with Bill Raber...he "got me"....He pressures you to do sh** HE wants to do & can spend YOUR money quicker than you...Then wants the money up front... YOU WERE WARNED!!
