There is one referee who should be talked to by management for his lack of professionalism and attitude. This referee has let plays escalate into players getting hurt and slammed into the wall and does not even check on players when they do get hit into the wall or injured. This referee does not care about players safety. I myself was slammed into a wall by a keeper who was out of his box and hit my head in the wall. No foul was given. This referee could care less and just let the keeper restart the play with a kick. This referee has reffed 3 other games where he's not paying attention, talking to the crowd, and just hands out blue cards that don't meet any of the criteria in the policies. This referee also does not explain anything or talk to the players professionally. He is unprofessional and lacks any understanding of the game whatsoever and does not care about player safety. This facility needs to take player safety more seriously and employ referees who are professional and understand the game. As someone who is a referee it's really not difficult to be consistent within the calls, ensure tensions do not escalate, and keep players safe. read more

Terrible- unorganized - Would give it zero stars if I could. First time trying the indoor league and the coaches do not appear to even want to coach, communication is terrible and we had games back to back with no subs, it appears all they want is money and don't even care of anything else. I'm very disappointed. I understand that coaches are voluntarily but the league should be responsible to having enough players and not just randomly wanting to squeeze everything in for this convenience I would have preferred for them to not add an extra league if it was going to be this bad . read more

The facility has has been cleaned up a bit in the last year, and the parking problem isn't as bad as it used to be as they've been able to expand the lot a bit. However, it's still very poorly run, very inconsistent refs, and no concern paid to things like parents at the youth games who are standing and blocking others' views, yelling, and engaging in stereotypical bad soccer parent behavior. I literally saw a parent stomping on the bleachers, flailing her arms, and screaming last weekend because she was unhappy with the ref. Nobody from the facility seems to care. So, it's not a very pleasant place to watch a game, and playing is hit and miss depending on the ref. read more

I'll give 5 stars to the staff working at this facility. I would give 2 stars to the ref on Monday league (it's a tough job standing still for at least 3 hours so the ref deserves 2 stars). I was given a blue card for running in front of my opponent and shielding with my arm without extending it out fully. The ref saw it as I elbowed my opponent and gave me the blue card. Also my elbow wasn't in the motion of swinging backward like in any form of hurting my opponent plus my arm was only at the defenders waist level. The spectators and my teammates were aghast that I was blue-carded and agreed the ref made a bad call. After my game, I also stayed and watched another teams play. I noticed this ref made many bad calls. An incident happened just in front of me, when a keeper brought the ball out of his box and was pressured by his opponent (a striker) to the side walls. There were normal acceptable physical contacts but the keeper pushed the striker hard to the walls and swung his hand backward pushing the striker's head. I would think the striker was fouled but the ref called foul on the striker. I could see the perplexed look on the striker's face. This ref needs to watch more professional soccer games or arena matches to learn how to be a good referee. There used to be a non-biased ref but he might have found another job. He was the best referee. I rarely saw players making objections against his calls. read more

*Manager does nothing* Over the past couple of months, my over 30 coed C division team has had several complaints that go unanswered by management. When the phone number was requested for corporate, an email was given, and then zero response. Some example of complaints my team has is that a goalie slid out of the box and kicked a player in the head, giving them a concussion. Goalie got no foul or blue card. A referee on the field contintualy harrases one of our female players on social media. He keeps asking her out after she has said no several times. When he referees our games, his attitude is poor, and his comments are rude. Some players on my team have even been followed out to their cars by other players and even their small children. We are in an over 30 C league for a reason, but we keep having games against players that we have seen in A League divisions. Our team will not be returning to play the next session because of these issues and more. Corporate needs to step in and protect the players at this arena. read more

Great experience here. Loved how they were so safe during Covid. The parking lot could get very crowded at times. The employees are very nice. The facility is clean. They have huge fans to help cool everyone down, it gets very hot inside. They have clean bathrooms. They do have vending machines with drinks and snacks. Where to begin... We tried this place out and it was a trainwreck. Far too many players/teams and only one full field and a half field to accommodate everyone. They really need to put a cap on how many players they enroll. It seems like the $$$s are just too tempting. But what ends up happening is you get poor quality and chaos for everyone. The organizational structure is very poor. We were having games rearranged multiple times to the point where nobody knew when the game actually would be. And since players were not consistently notified, people were wasting their time showing up at the wrong times. The front desk staff seem to do their best, to be fair to them. But they just don't have a handle on all the chaos and the demand. For kids these games can be outright dangerous. There are a lot of very aggressive kids playing who will slam opposition players into walls and hack them down without the refs doing anything. I get that you want competitive games. But I saw multiple players limp off injured and in pain from this kind of hostile play, and the facility seems to have no safety protocols and don't care about injuries. I guess because the parents signed a waiver they feel they are free of any legal, moral, or empathic responsibility. But what does that say about them as decent human beings? If you are taking your kids to play here, be advised that they run the risk of injury - a greater risk than playing outdoor soccer. Speaking of refs, good grief are some the referees here terrible! I've seem players get blatantly tripped and hacked down, and pushed hard against the walls and nothing is done. No free kick or caution. Then a player raises their hands to their face to shield from getting the ball smashed into the faces at near point-blank distance and that's given as a caution and marked as one of five fouls your team is allowed. It's ridiculous! Even the supposedly better refs are of dubious ability. I don't expect every decision to be perfect. Mistakes happen. But the frequency of oversights and disregard here is on another level. Also, there is no tiering of teams or any effort to distribute teams by skill level. So you have divisional-level players going up against rec players, which results in very uneven results and is demoralizing to the rec-level players. That's not great on its own. But what's also concerning is that it is actually harming the adoption of soccer because it kills any interest in the sport for some young players. I get that the facility wants to make a profit. But it seems like $$$s are all they really care about. read more

I get that there is a shortage of refs right now, but I just watched a game in which I genuinely think the ref couldn't see what was happening on the field, and it made the game unsafe. Jerseys pulled, elbows thrown, coaches fighting, one team allowed to play with 6 players before the ref noticed. Players are supposed to be aggressive, but refs are supposed to control the game and keep it safe. ISA 2000 has a responsibility to make the play environment safe. read more

I really like playing at ISA. I have been coming since December and I enjoy it. They always have an interesting playlist going on during the games. There's plenty of parking and the staff is really friendly. I also like how flexible they are with changing game times. I would definitely recommend playing here. read more

"DANGEROUS" for youth players!!! Okder male ref is decent but others are horrible. One of the teenage female refs who wears a yellow pinnie (unprofessional) doesn't know how to use a whistle!! Who named this place?!? ISA2000, sounds like a bad science fiction movie title. Oh, but wait - it's actually a hidden oasis of indoor soccer off of Auburn Boulevard. The Sacramento area indoor arenas, seriously like to hide themselves in the most random locations - Auburn Boulevard, South Watt, 24th Avenue, etc. Once you find this place, which means you probably have driven past the turn a couple of times, you keep driving and wa-la, there it is. Random, yes. However, back behind some random businesses is another warehouse where adults go to play co-ed soccer. Fees are on par with what you pay in the Sacramento Area. The only weird thing is you have to pay $12 ref fees every game - this could get real annoying, why don't you just build it into the cost? Apparently, after some internet investigation, this is a chain of indoor soccer arenas. You have to subscribe to their website, you can't just take a look at the schedule. Another interesting thing is, after 6 team fouls, the opposing team gets to basically take a PK-ish. Everyone has to go to the half line and the person taking the kick get's a go at it, against the goalie. I guess this is their way of combating aggressive behavior. I'm not too sure how I feel about this, but it's whatever right now (I'm only in my first session at this facility). It's nothing fancy by far. One huge set of bleachers, then two smaller bleachers. I think they might sell a very limited supply of snacks and beverages. Funny enough, their restroom is very air conditioned, when everywhere else feels like a sauna. This place is a complete joke. My son has played 5 games there and 2 of the games ended in fights. The refs do nothing to control the game. If an owner or representative of this establishment reads this and actually wants to do something please message me. I have video of two punk a#% kids cold clocking one of my sons teammates twice. If you're in need of a job, look no further because you'll get one here being a ref. The refs here are literally the worst. No training, no knowledge of the game, nothing. You can be any random person off the street and they'll let you ref. The place has went to complete s**t. The scorekeepers don't even pay attention half of the time and never know who scored, what the score is or how many fouls there are. The field is coming up all over the place because of poor field maintenance and is super dangerous to play on. Every since Jim and family retired and "Let's Play" took over, this place has become a horrible place to play. It use to be a fun atmosphere but now with kids running the office and front desk it's just become somewhat dangerous. They will put anyone in a jersey or penny and have them ref and the kids behind the desk would rather have a score keeper with no ref experience at all ref a game before one of them logs off Facebook in order to lend a hand. They use to have champion shirts for the session winners, gone. They use to have the standings and player stats in the glass case, gone. they use to have a front desk staff you could chat with about the game, gone. They use to have someone in the office that would actually listen to questions and concerns, gone. Just like those things, I to am gone. Off to Soccer Planet. If zero stars were possible... I wanted to like this place despite the terrible ratings, but it really is a terrible group of people running it. They clearly have no idea how to run a league. We didn't even get our full season schedule until 4 games in. One week we tried to contact them all week to figure out if we played and they didn't tell us until the morning of game day that it was a bye week. They don't even care to watch the game and keep accurate score, got a tie for a game we clearly should have one because we scored another goal. They said "Oh we don't know if you actually scored that goal so we can't count it..." "There was some confusion with a goal" How is there confusion. The ball went in the goal. The goalie took the ball out of the goal and up to center field. Then kicked off. That seems like a goal to me I really don't even want to finish this season, but we paid enough that it's just stupid not to. This place is unsafe place to play. The games manager does not schedule and manage games well at all. In our short 6 game season we had 8 reschedules. When we advised the management that we would not play a particularly dirty team again, they scheduled them for our next game. As far as the field, It is average size and decent. One kid on our u10 team was shoved head first into the walls were he collided at full speed. No penalty called. If you have a child and value their safety consider the other indoor leagues. Cal Fit Rocklin has the best around. read more

I brought my U12 girl's team to play at ISA 2000 last winter. I was pleasantly surprised at how well organized the facility was run. They have multiple divisions depending on skill level, and reseeds team the 1st after the 1st couple of games if teams are sandbagging or are over their heads in a higher division. The refs were very experienced and the teams in our division all had good sportsmanship. Wish they had a lounge w/ food & refreshments. Management is very responsive to coaches queries. There was a consensus among all the parents that the experience at ISA is a lot more pleasant than the ones we've had at our Natomas Natomas indoor soccer facility. We are playing again in the current winter season. I highly recommend this facility to any and all youth soccer coaches looking for a well run Indoor league. read more

Dont go here. Poor communication, questionable business practices, and terrible customer service. I registered my team for an indoor session, gave my credit card, sent in the application. I then confirmed the next day, and they confirmed they had it. They had not closed registration, and had previously told me they had room. All looked good. Absolutely no mention of any problems. I called back once a week trying to get the schedule. Each time I was told the schedule wasn't done yet. They knew who I was, and what team I was for. Two weeks before the first game they called me back and asked if we were rec or comp. We were rec. Again, I asked for the schedule. Nope, not done yet. The following weekend, ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST GAME, they leave me a voicemail and say "sorry, can't fit you in" We tried, but just can't fit you in. I called them back and reminded them we played there last year - but did not good. Terrible customer service, no respect, no loyalty, and no ability to run a business properly. Apparently they love taking applications and deposits, but dont actually know if they have spots. They could care LESS about you and your team, so they cut teams at the last minute leaving the kids in the lurch. Most places are more organized and know how many slots they have, and only accept those slots. read more

My son just started playing indoor soccer here. I have to see he is having fun and enjoying it. The upside is that he is exhausted when we get home and gets a good night sleep. The down side is, every time we go it is overcrowded with limited seats in the small field. We have a toddler and it gets difficult to watch the game. I have been playing at ISA 2000 for a couple years now, and the only complaint I have is that I did not find out about it sooner. I really enjoy having an indoor arena with great people and support to play at multiple times a week. There is a good variety of leagues, players, and teams, and even when I did not have a team, ISA helped me find one. Really good refs, fun leagues, great place to play soccer and stay in shape. As someone that moved to Sacramento from out of town, I have been really happy to find ISA 2000 and play fun soccer regularly. Good location near 80 as well for me. It's a little ridiculous you get $700 or something per team per session and can't even buy new soccer balls. The ones you have can't hold air and air flat every single game. The refs are some of the worst in the city and literally do not know the rules. Have a game where the ref is good friends with the other team? Well don't expect any help from that ref. They are dozing off 90% of the time and not watching the game they're paid to ref. The management here decides to add as many teams as possible to the schedule to get more money and they'll schedule your team to have 2 double headers and 4 byes. The other team forfeited the game? You can use the field but won't get a refund and rarely do they reschedule it. WHY WOULDN'T I GET MY MONEY BACK FOR THAT GAME? It makes 0 sense. I've played on a few different team here. I love playing soccer is the only reason I go back. For how much they charge in fees, they should really have two refs. Even though the field is small, there are countless bad calls and I've experienced multiple ghost goals, which is especially bad since girls girls goals count for 2. Overall, if you like soccer and smaller fields it is worth checking out. I don't have a kid, but they seem to offer decent kids programs. read more

If i was able to rate a 0, that is what it would be. The owner Jim has a MAJOR malfunction. We have had nothing but issues with him. First, they dont honor special requests for game days. Even when put in writting BEFORE registration. Second, unprofessional and disrespectful demeanor towards the customers. Third, have absolutely no regard for the broken hearts of the children who dont get to have their game time because of the owners incompetence in schedule making.Fourth, every game we have played has the incorrect score recorded. Fifth, incorrect goal counting on their "leaderboard". (which their leaderboard is an absolute joke). Sixth, they schedule beginner recreation teams to play select and comp teams! Seven, allow and even promote bad sportsmanship from their return teams/coaches. And when reported, they do NOTHING. Eight, customer service is atrocious. Nine, awful location. Ten, the parking sucks! I sincerely worry about the safety of my players when here. I regret signing up for a second season and will be relieved when i dont have to return my team to this monstrosity of a complex. I will be letting the entire soccer world know about the experience. And so will the 16 families that ISA2000 has upset. If you are considering going here...DON'T. Save yourself and your team major grief. I like this place. The smaller field is great for U10 and under. Much better than their larger field or other facilities that only have a larger field. Team prices seem to be better than other options in Sacramento. Seems like they could use a little more help sometimes staying organized and keeping up on schedules but I have experienced much worse at other soccer facilities in the area. read more

This place is under new ownership and does not deserve even one star. They have chosen to not allow at least 6 youth soccer teams sign up for further sessions. These are teams and coaches that have been established here for years, yet they were not given the chance to continue playing for the next session. They also will not refund the player fees that were paid to register for all the sessions. They have taken our money and left us with no soccer. read more

Just got done playing my first game at ISA2000 and had a blast. The lady behind the counter was really nice and got me registered really quick and the referee (older white gentleman) was really cool about me learning the ropes at their facility. Overall it was a positive experience for my first co-ed adult league game. The only reason it didn't get that coveted 5th star, was the temperature inside this place. It was ridiculously humid and pretty stinkin' hot. Pretty petty of me, I know. But made it hard for my wife and kids to enjoy their time there. read more

Thought I reviewed Isa last year, but must have been another review site. I tend to keep an open mind since Yelp reviews can be subjective or based on experience w/ old mgt/owners. Friends who played there or had their kids play there gave positive reviews so I gave my U12 girls' team a try for their Indoor Winter season in Jan '19. Anthony Rizzo(owner/mgr?) was super quick & helpful in responding to my queries regarding registration process for a 1st time team. The biggest pros was the seeding and referees. Our team played at Olympus in Natomas from '14 thru '17, and there were many a times where our rec team got stuck in a division w/ high level comp teams w/o Olympus making any effort to reseed overmatched teams or moving up 'sandbagging' teams. Isa reseeds teams, if necessary, after the 1st 2 weeks of games in order to balance competition. They will even consider requests from teams to move up or down as well. They had very experienced refs who controlled the games very well , unlike Olympus where on occasion, I was explaining rules to the inexperienced teenage refs. I only have a couple of suggestions: maybe a lounge area w/ concession stand and refreshments/ would make the experience better for parents who've sat through umpteenth youth soccer games and would rather 'chill' than watch another one. A playoffs for maybe the top 4 teams in each division. Would make the experience for our players even more fun. Also, having to pay in cash to refs prior to every game. Having exactly $11 for 8 games can be a challenge, would be better if Isa just added the ref fees as part of total team registration fees. Other than that, we are signing up again at Isa for the winter season this January. I would keep an open mind regarding reviews, some of the negative experiences might pertain to the adults leagues and not the youth leagues. read more

Best indoor field in the area with a really nice family running the joint. Refs are decent and the competition solid in the men's over 30. Only drawback are the game times that can be as early as 5:55 which is impossible to get there on time with people's work schedule and 11:10 which is almost always a forfeited game because who wants to be playing soccer at midnight on a Monday night. read more

I would agree with Patrick T: Very poor communication and service. Our team paid the deposit to reserve a spot. When it came to getting the schedule, we never heard anything until I drove in to inquire. Apparently not enough teams signed up for our age group, so they were'nt able to accomodate us. This would have been understandable, had they called us to let us know. Now there's a week left and the team is scrambling to see if we can find another arena. read more

Good place. We went here for a birthday party and it was low key and fun. Roomy, good place for kids to play and run around. They also have a room for presents and cake and those sorts of things. I didn't see much staff around, so no claims on the customer service, but the facility is nice and a good place to have a party. read more

If I could give this place a 0, I would. Jim, the manager is very rude and disrespectful. He has no courtesy towards others and many of the staff members are the same. Some of the refs are ok, but many don't know the game of soccer well enough to keep conditions on the field safe for all. It is scary at times! The website has major issues and there is a fundamental lack of communication. The games are often scheduled only 1 or 2 weeks in advance, sometimes less. This gives no prep time and is obviously hard to deal with. Please take your time, $, and precious children elsewhere! It's not worth it! read more
