She gave us lists of preferred vendors to choose from, she gave us good questions to ask them, she advised us when we asked, but ultimately let us make our own choices. She was 100% willing to look at any other vendors not on her lists, as well. She made sure we were well informed and comfortable with our choices, but that they were our own, not influenced elsewhere. I found her very helpful with small things especially closer to the wedding. Tons of little questions cropped up and Pam was always on it, she reached out to our venue for us and got us answers so we could focus on other things. The day of the wedding she was amazing. As the bride, I had to worry about nothing. She understood what I asked for and made sure it was all set up--and it was! No issues, no mistakes, no problems, everything ran completely smoothly, largely thanks to Pam's presence and help. Cost-wise, very affordable. I pictured a planner to be MUCH more expensive than Pam is (especially when you're dealing with wedding prices, ho boy!) She has a simple down payment and contract, and final payment due closer to day of. All payments and paperwork were handled well and expediently. In the end, she often says "it's whatever you want!" and she truly works to make that happen.

Allison and Sarah could not have been more comforting and proactive. Over email, phone, and video call, they put my mind at ease and I felt so prepared the day of my wedding, no matter what restrictions were in place. Allison could not have done a better job the day of. She built a great rapport with my family, bridal party, and the venue's event manager to ensure the day ran smoothly. She knew the schedule and set up like the back of her hand. When the timing of certain day-of activities changed last minute, she made sure to let me know of the changes and the night went on without issue. If it were not for COVID and my anxieties around how it would affect our wedding I likely would not have looked for an outside coordinator- our venue did provide one that began to work closely with us (and Allison) in the month or so before the wedding and I truly believe she would have done a comparable job in the day-of execution. But it's the long term commitment to the planning process that makes Without a Hitch special. And while our venue did not host many weddings during COVID, Without a Hitch planned so many, and had the experience and suggestions that made the wedding feel as normal as it possibly could. For any of my friends planning weddings at a less conventional venue or just want more support, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Without a Hitch, and more specifically Allison!

Looking back now, I can't imagine this past year without Alexis and her team at the Little Things. Alexis is cool, calm, and collected. She has an incredible eye and seemingly limitless patience. She gave me the space to design specific elements of our wedding while providing her expertise at every turn. Her high standards have helped her build a network of vendors who truly bring their A-game. My fiancé and I definitely put The Little Things through the ringer with our out-of-the-box interactive displays and AV set up. Alexis took it all in stride, remaining positive, managing our expectations, and meeting every challenge presented and exceeding expectations throughout. If you view wedding planners as a "nice to have," and not a "necessity," I would change your thinking. There are SO many things that can come up, and they would have easily derailed us many times in our planning if it were not for Alexis who acts as part wedding planner, part therapist throughout the process! ha! When you look back at your wedding, if you're like us, you will constantly be bringing up amazing memories, and you will find yourself saying "Imagine we didn't have Alexis."

If you value design and love beautiful detail but don't have the time to chase every email or treat your wedding like a second job, it's time you meet with TLT. If you have a bunch of ideas in your mind of who you and your partner are, and how you want to present yourselves as a couple, and want a planner who can understand you better than you understand yourself, it's time you meet with TLT. If you want to enjoy the process of planning your wedding as much as your wedding itself, run, don't walk, to TLT. Alexis & Kayla were by far the most important and most valuable decision we made for our wedding. After following TLT on IG for some time, I knew I liked their high-end, laidback vibe, and from our first conversation we were bowled over by how those traits translated to the people behind the scenes. From early days with thoughtful questionnaires into every aspect of our identity, Alexis and Kayla began the journey of getting to know us better than we knew ourselves, and helped us establish a mood, a design aesthetic, and a way of working together that made the year of planning our wedding a true joy. What you can expect from working with TLT: monthly meetings where you will laugh until you cry, a meticulously organized online checklist of to-dos with assigned owners and gentle and timely reminders, to be presented with teams of vendors who match your vibe and price point (you can always suggest your own vendors and TLT will vet them too), never having to send a single email to a vendor (!!!!), a sense of comfort knowing that everything is IS THE BAG, and in the critical days leading up to the big day and including the big day itself - being able to be present and enjoy this once in a lifetime experience. Alexis and Kayla helped us author our first big creative project together as a couple and will be lifelong friends. They assembled a squad of the COOLEST, most hardworking vendors we could imagine, and we will be forever grateful. If you are on the fence about working with a planner, DO NOT HESITATE to take the leap with TLT. They are worth their weight in solid gold.

I had to hire another planner who did the job in 3 weeks. I hired Veronica in May for my baby's birthday and 7 months later still nothing was done and she refused to give me back my money. She then texted me extremely threatening texts almost 3 months after my event to remove my one star review or she will sue me. She would then block me and then unblock me and continue to send threatening messages. This woman wants to keep her shady business practice behind wraps. She also threatened me about someone else leaving her a bad review. Her google reviews are mainly all one star reviews. She is the worst thing to ever happen to me. I wish I contacted the other party planning business before I came into contact with this evil person. I have included screen shots of her harassment. I have informed the police department and will take all legal measures should she continue to threaten and harass me. Her number is listed to show you she is the evil person behind these texts. Oh and she kept my money and did no work for what I paid her for. Keep that in mind. Google her. There is nothing but bad things written about her all over the internet let alone her google reviews. I should have read about all her unhappy customers and negative articles written To Veronica's comment: YOU are an absolute liar. I don't need to speak on whatever crap you're saying because a simple search of your google reviews will show all of the horrible reviews you have. If you google "blue ivy and Beyoncé" you can see articles of Beyoncé asking for a restraining order against this awful woman. Poor excuse for a human being! Literally everything she wrote in her response to my comment is a lie and don't entertain her BS! One simple google search will SHOW all her unhappy customers dating back YEARS!

Being in the wedding industry myself, I am extremely picky about who to entrust on our big day. Having a wealth of contacts to plan our own wedding, we undoubtedly knew Veronica was THE ONE for us! From our first interview with her she was on point, meticulous and had a back up plan for our "back up plan". She listened to our needs and wedding vision, kept me motivated and on time with my checklists and truly "got it". From day one I conveyed to her that we were looking for a "bulldog" day of coordinator/Superwoman that could handle a large wedding party (11 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen), large family, out of towner guests and whatever drama might enfold. I wanted someone as detailed as I am, if not more but who truly cares and understands the entire process. We found all that in Veronica, and then some! Her attention to detail is above and beyond. She has her templates, checklists and timelines down to a science. The day of our wedding went off without a hitch (at least that I am aware of). That's what I call a GREAT day of coordinator. I was never concerned or bothered by things that came up because it was fixed before I even knew about it. She was there for us until the very end which was 1:00 AM and was so attentive and checked in on us often!! LOVE that! By the way, she's so much fun and had a blast singing/dancing along with her and our FAB DJ. Our family and friends fell in love with her as well, that I almost forgot she was my planner. :) In a good way that is. She was extremely professional but was so down to earth, she was like family. She's a friend for life!! I highly recommend her and her team. In conclusion: Do yourself a favor, stop looking and call Veronica for your big day!

Phebe is the queen of vintage and romantic design. She totally got the vibe we were going for, took the ball and ran with it. She had wonderful recommendations on how to save money, and even did many DIY projects on our behalf (glazing mason jars anyone?). One of her great recommendations was getting flowers from Whole Foods, which I would guess saved us at least $1,000. Phebe was always accessible via phone and email whenever we needed her. She kept us on track with checklists and reminders of things we needed to do. We had a shared Pinterest board that I kept filling with ideas, so I always felt involved. In the end, our wedding day was absolutely perfect. I didn't stress one bit knowing Phebe was in charge. Our guests are still raving about how well designed and uniquely personalized our wedding was. We owe tons of thanks to Phebe and her team for Making ME a happy bride.

This is coming from an absolute and udder control freak. Once Phebe was on our team, she kept up with my husband and I, months prior to the wedding, to make sure we were accomplishing every little detail associated with getting married and making sure our vision of what our special day would look like came out. She also kept both Mike and I engaged in the entire process, this was a HUGE plus! Alot of planners we talked to, would only talk to me, that did not sit well with Mike and I. Her professionalism and team made working with her an absolute dream come true. A few days before the wedding, Phebe came over to go over our final production list, that listed hour by hour what would be going on, where each of us should be. It really put both Mike and I at ease because we knew that we could put the entire wedding, one of the most important days of our lives, into the hands of Phebe and her team. The morning of our wedding, Phebe called both my husband and I to make sure we were up and going and if there was anything last minute that we needed. That morning while we got ready Phebe went to the reception hall to make sure everything was set up correctly, and make sure everything was running smoothly. Once we got to the church, Phebe came out to the limo to notify me of a few problems that she wanted to check with me on. Apparently the florist had dropped the ball and put red bows in place of orange bows down the aisle, and had forgotten the rose petals for a big exit. Phebe said no worries she would remove the bows, and during the ceremony she ran over to the local grocery store to purchase roses so we could still have our big exit. That exit ended up being one of my favorite photos from the entire day and it only happened because of Phebe. Phebe also ran interference on some issues that I did not even know happened until I got back from my Honeymoon, including upset guests about seating arrangements, helping me with my 62 tie bustle, making sure my husband and I were where we needed to be at all times, making sure we both ate and were well hydrated, and making sure our vendors had a go to person besides my husband and I. I could honestly go on and go for hours about Making ME Event Planning, Phebe, and her staff. My husband and I are so blessed to have had her there in our corner so we could concentrate on what was important, enjoying our friends and family on an amazing day, that was filled with love and happiness, and honestly not an once of drama because of Phebe. I cannot recommended her and her team enough! And I can promise you, if you hire Making ME Event Planning, you will understand from the first time you talk to Phebe, exactly how special and wonderful it is to work with her.

If you don't get to the end of this review and only read one thing: Hiring Sandra was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She is beyond dedicated to giving you the wedding of your dreams, and her ability to execute and make it ALL happen is nothing short of extraordinary. Every wedding needs a Sandra! We had the pleasure of working with Sandra from the beginning of our wedding planning journey all the way through our 3 day wedding weekend. When we were stumped looking for venues that could accommodate our large guest list AND a weekend-long celebration. Sandra approached us with a "think outside the box" venue: Timber Lake Camp, a beautifully serene summer camp nestled in the Catskills. We were unsure about the idea of a summer camp wedding but trusted her instinct - and thankfully we did. The day we visited the camp we knew it was PERFECT. 500 gorgeous acres with plenty of room to accommodate ALL of our guests, that we could have all to ourselves for an entire weekend - camp cabins, facilities, staff, and all! It truly felt like she had pulled a rabbit out of a hat and that was only the start of Sandra's magic! Throughout the entire year and a half long planning process, Sandra lent us her ear and expertise: she listened to our wishes, concerns, thoughts; guided us through a million different decisions; provided alternative options/ideas to meet our budget; and found the perfect vendors to bring our vision to life. She sat in on our calls with the coordinator at the camp, and even made visits to the camp with us - including one visit during a snowstorm! She also managed our multitude of vendors (including 3 separate caterers!) from the initial inquiries all the way through to the end of packing up after the wedding. When the wedding weekend came around, Sandra stayed on site all 3 days and made every event run smoothly - we felt like she was somehow everywhere all at once! We had multiple events, including our rehearsal, a Welcome BBQ, Karaoke Night, late night bonfire, and activities throughout the camp. If there were any hiccups, we didn't know about them! The day of the wedding, between everything she was coordinating and the multiple vendors on-site, she somehow still found time to check in with us to make sure we were okay. But honestly we truly felt at ease with Sandra running the show. Her professionalism, calmness, and get-it-done attitude made every part of the weeknd run seamlessly! And on top of it all, she made our marriage official by signing our marriage license. :) A total bonus that she is ordained and a special memory to share with her as she was such a big part of our special day! Our guests are still talking about how magical the weekend was. Many specifically commented that even with so many events and activities going on, it was one the most well-coordinated and organized weddings they'd attended. It was definitely a huge effort to pull off a 3 day wedding weekend on a 500 acre camp, but teamwork truly made this dream work! We could not be more grateful to Sandra, her team, and all of our amazing vendors for giving us a wedding better than we could have ever imagined! We can't recommend Sandra and HVC enough.

It's all such a whirlwind of activity. And the logistics at our farm were challenging, to say the least. I also greatly appreciated how, during the actual wedding and party afterward, Sandra and her assistant were there, in the background, keeping the caterer happy, moving tables, shuttling slightly inebriated guests to their cars, (thank you, especially for that. I think I would still find people walking the horse pasture fence, looking for their cars.) And for doing the behind-the-scenes things that rarely are noticed, unless they're not done. (For example, one of the porta potties malfunctioning). Sandra handled that with quiet speed. And mostly I appreciated how she took care of Amanda's mother's doilies, the family mementoes, tucking things away in the pool house for safe keeping. And for a good, general tidying up at the end of the night.
