Taking this company to court and pressing charges. Early next morning after my wedding over they arrived early to pick up the items I rented from them and vandalized all of my belongings DESTROYING my guest book, photos of my lost loved ones, dumped wine and soda all over my white chair covers, smashed my glass centerpieces, broke my balloon backdrop stand, stomped on my custom made sign after throwing all of this onto ground In 3 large piles. They never called or anything before arriving as they promised to give a time frame of pickup. They weren't expecting me and 8 helpers to show up at the location immediately after they completed destroying all of our things. Police are involved and paperwork is being worked on. I have 8 witnesses with statements, MANY photos AND videos of what we walked into and the man who was in charge who did this on camera stating that the reason why he felt to do this was okay was due to some dirt and grass on dance floor along with a piece of candy (my wedding was outdoors) I arrived not only with 8 helpers, but a broom and swifter to prepare his dance floor for pick up respectfully. Thankful the officer is working with us appropriately and giving advice on how to proceed forward. Beware of this company and stay far away from doing business with them. They destroyed our wedding memories that we will never get back. We left the location last after all guest left and left everything neatly to have an easy breakdown and clean up in morning. The location was in a private owned field where these items were safe from theft... but apparently not from being vandalized by a company I paid thousands of dollars and trusted. They will pay for their cruel cold actions, that's for sure. read more

Very rude. I went to a friends wedding over the weekend, they went to clean the next day and the workers were already there picking up. The workers ruined A lot of the wedding memories because they didn't believe her and many others were going to show up to pick up the mess that was made. Absolutely not okay. Do not recommend awful rude horrible people. No one wants their wedding memories ruined and that's what they did. Awful company. read more

I was part of a beautiful wedding, where distant friends and family had attended to make my sisters big day as special as we could. It went perfectly and amazing memories were made, until I arrived the next day to my family distraught in tears over ruined decorations, and memories that had been covered in alcohol, mud, food, etc. This company arrived over 24hr early to "clean" up their belongings and take them back; what we encountered as destroying everything they did not own. Such a sad ending to an amazing night. I'd rate this 0 stars if it was allowed. This past Saturday (5/22) I went to my beautiful cousin's wedding in Rindge, NH. They used Elegant Settings in Keene, NH to rent the tent and dance floor from. The rental agreement was Friday 5/21 to 5/24. When the bridal party got to the site of the wedding Sunday (5/23) to clean and gather their belongings, the hand made decorations, and all memorabilia from the wedding was trashed and thrown onto the ground by the men taking down the tent 24 hours earlier than what the agreement was for. The men acknowledged that they ruined many of the items due to being upset there was dirt and grass on the dance floor (outdoor wedding). The bride had hand made 90% of the decorations. Many of the items were just thrown onto the ground with drinks spilled on them. The guest book had wine on it and the center pieces were shattered. The worst part of this is the pictures of their angel baby were thrown on the ground as well and walked all over. Elegent Settings needs to be held accountable for their actions. read more

About two weeks ago I attended my sister-in-laws wedding in which Elegant Settings was hired for the tent, tables, etc. The next morning when the family went to clean and collect the decor and priceless pictures used to create a memory table to honor loved ones who had passed away, the company already started to "clean" and trashed their stuff. Drinks were spilled on pictures, decorations and signature books thrown in piles, total disregard for the customer's property! The level of unprofessionalism was appalling! The company did apologize via email and offered a full refund to the bride and groom after they contacted police and paperwork was being filed to press charges. The bride and groom accepted the refund for the cost of rentals, but many memories and belongings were destroyed without compensation and can't be replaced. In the agreement the company was not supposed to collect their rented items until the following Monday, so they arrived a day early causing the damage. Very disappointed, think twice before considering this company! read more

Ted is so wonderful and Elegant Settings made planning a DIY wedding as easy as it gets. I am an event planner by trade so I took planning our wedding very seriously and was never short on questions to be asked or detailed spreadsheets to be followed but I was still overwhelmed by the magnitude of items that needed to be ordered and accounted for when doing a DIY wedding for 200+ people in a venue with no amenities and Ted was there for me every step of the way! We went to meet with him at his office which is in my husband's hometown about 1.5 years ahead of time and he was very patient with us up until the day of the wedding and helped guide everything that we needed! He was in continual communication with our cater and wedding planner helping to adjust the order as needed for their requirements and the every changing weather in the mountain region! My husband and I used Elegant Settings for our August wedding in central Vermont. Ted was very easy to work with, straight forward, flexible, and always quick to respond to my emails. His crew traveled an hour and a half to and from our wedding location for delivery and pick up. Despite the long haul, they were nothing but friendly and were very efficient. In addition to great service, the quality of the rentals was excellent. Our outdoor wedding looked gorgeous under two hexagonal tents.
