Bad business ethics. Did not fullfill the contract on items we paid for. Equipment old and some in need of replacement. Tent was fine.

We had a difficult time working with this company. We had to push our wedding back a year due to COVID and they did work with us to get the tents booked for our new date 1 year later. However, the location where we had the wedding required wearing masks if proof of vaccination was not provided. They completely refused to wear masks and ended up cancelling on us at the last minute without giving us our money back. They did allow us to use their tents for a future event, however, as we do not plan on throwing another large event anytime soon this didn't add any value for us. Two years after the previous review of this business, we had a similar experience with respect to rudeness (failed to check Yelp ahead of time). I will say they delivered what they said they would, but every other aspect was very unpleasant. We described the space ahead of time, and then she told me she was unaware of the need to hand carry the tent through our yard; I don't like being called a liar, seems to me it's her responsibility to ask about such things anyhow. The rudeness carried on throughout the rental process. And, despite getting lectured about how everything had to be just-so when they came to pick it up, they rolled up 5 days late. Sean King Rentals was wonderful to work with. Thompson House called them at the last minute for a tent. They were able to supply us with a tent at a reasonable cost. Sean and Suzanne had a very small space to work in and accommodated our facility. Thanks Sean King Rentals. read more

OMG never again would I rent anything from Sean and Suzanne. Suzanne is so rude she even called herself a Bitch. I didn't find out until 2 weeks before my wedding that she didn't have enough chairs for people to sit so I had to rent metal chairs (which were covered in dirt and rust). They never came to my home to look at the property so when they got to my house 1 day before the wedding they decided I could not have the dance floor that I payed for. Suzanne called on Thursday saying their truck was loaded and would be on their way to me, 2 hours later she called back to say they were not coming and was going to another customer instead. I do have farm animals and never thought that would be a problem, oh was I wrong. Suzanne decided I was NOT getting the liner for the tent that I paid for because of the "farm" smell because she was renting this tent to a "fancy" wedding the week after. They set up what they call a circus tent. OMG dirty. So bad even Suzanne said we could take a pressure washer to it. We chose to sweep the tent as the ground would not be dry in time for the wedding the next day. I took us 2 hours and 3 people to sweep the dirt and hey off the ceiling of the rent. What really put me over the edge was when she was arguing with my husband she did not see me standing behind her and told him a huge lie!!! When she turned around and saw me she did not say a word. They give small family owned business a bad name. Extremely poor customer relations!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! read more
