First time visiting this very pretty historical home. Each dining area is with its own feeling of history. Group of 4 started with the appetizers plate. It was good but had tiny dots of cheese and the Gherkin pickles were tasteless. Main meals Fig Burgers were very good , Sun-dried tomatoes chicken over Penne pasta which was very good, and Salmon Croquettes also very good. Service was fine. Would give it 3.5 st

Aldworth Manor is located in the woods of Harrisvillle, NH in the Monadnock Region. This historic home is a popular venue for weddings, but on Thursdays and Fridays they open the home to Tavern night where locals can enjoy the building and a meal. Reservations are strongly recommended. There are several rooms throughout the first floor of the home set up for dining, allowing for an intimate experience. We sat in the bar area, we had one of the best drinks I every had. The Spring Clean. I actually ordered two, which I never do. My husband and I shared and order of Parmesan Truffle Fries. For dinner my husband had Chicken Marsala and I had Fish Tacos. We both loved our meal, it was flavorful and fresh tasting. The staff were friendly and prompt. After dinner we walked about the grounds and enjoyed the beautiful view of Mt. Monadnock. Highly recommend this place for date night or if you have a group of friends getting together. Menu is limited, which is posted on their website.

Beautiful manor in a beautiful location but the food was horrible. The Spaghetti Bolognese tasted sweet, had chunks of carrots and ground beef in a pink sauce. The worst spaghetti Bolognese I've ever had. The tater tot appetizer was greasy.

Aldworth Manor and it's lodging has been transformed. At the end of the road and looking out over Mount Monadnock this stunning location has been reborn. We just got done shooting a feature film here in October of 2017 and we have had a wonderful time! It held all 34 of our cast and crew and the 170 acres and 17,000sqft Manor was an unbelievable setting for our film. Not to mention the near by town of harrisville. The staff is absolutely wonderful, really couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will shoot here again.

Very nice outdoor dinner in a very special and beautiful setting. The cocktails were delicious, and the steak and salmon were outstanding.

We are frequent travelers, and my husband especially is in different hotels every week and have never had an experience quite like this: we arrived a couple of hours before check-in, probably around 1:45pm....so not first thing in the morning, but at a time when one could reasonably expect a room to be ready, or to be ready shortly, for a 4pm check-in. What we were met with instead, was a packed lobby full of angry patrons. It turns out they had not allowed anyone to check-in that day, which we've never herd of before in all our travels at hotels.....they would not let a single party check in before 4pm, on a rainy day when we were all stuck in the lobby with crying babies, dogs, etc. It was a nightmare. As 4pm approached the line at the counter grew and grew so it was another nightmare once they finally allowed every single party to check in at once. Many customers complained, to which the employees insisted the manager was unavailable. As previously stated, the room itself was fine, the location had great walkability had it not been pouring rain, but the level of dysfunction, unprofessionalism, and overall chaos leaves me feeling like this 2 star rating is pretty generous. Terrible experience and definitely would not stay again. We are gold level with Marriott and I still wouldn't stay, even though we didn't pay for our visit. A free night isn't worth the drama!

We had no idea about Keenes famous pumpkin festival which took place over the weekend of our stay. The hotel was nice. Cllean. Great ammenities. The hightlight of our stay was meeting Scott! He was our barista in the morning and our bartendar in the evening. What an EXCEPTIONAL HUMAN BEING!! Truly a top notch employee who became our friend. He should either be the ambassador for the Marriot, a tour guide or even the Mayor of Keene. His professionalism, friendly spirit, smile, helpful nature made our stay extra special. He made sure that every single person even the kids staying there were taken care of. Now that we've returned home our family was bummed out this morning not being able to banter with Scott while he made us our coffee drinks. And we didn't get our Scotty sprinkles. Not often does one stay at a hotel and actually get treated like family. We now consider us our friend. The staff was super helpful and always greeted us with a smile. If we ever visit Kerne we'll be sure to stay at the Courtyard Marriot. Thank you Scott & Tia for your incredible hospitality. We've been here twice and had a blast both times!…read more We brought our 16 year old nephew with us both times and he really enjoyed it as well. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. He allows some practicing before you get started. He'll help you out with each item you want to throw and give you pointers. I HIGHLY recommend getting the "throw everything" package. Axes are awesome and the other items really make it fun. They have a huge variety of things to throw besides axes, so give them all a try. And some are much lighter than axes; like the stars, playing cards and skinny axes. And some are bigger! The variety is a lot of fun. What makes this place cool is the games. You have the option to throw at a bullseye target if you like. But they also have a bunch of games you can play; bomb defuser, a game similar to wheel of fortune, a battleship like game a many others. They basically use a projector in each lane hooked up to an iPad for the games. The games are then projected on to the target. The owner mentioned that he will be upgrading the software so it scores automatically; pretty slick. They also have a "rage room" where you can smash various objects. A group was in there while we had our session and when they came out, they were all smiles. This is a great spot in downtown Keene. Again, the owner is very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The decor inside is really neat; a lot of rough sawn wood with some amazing historical pictures from Keene and the timber industry from back in the day.
