Such a cute farm! We came here for baby goat yoga- the perfect start to the day. The instructor was really nice and it was so fun to do yoga with the goats! All the other farm animals were also really nice to see. Great place. read more

great for kids. I would say if you have small kids you should be going here at least once a year. We have gone with our now 4-year old three or four times. I would say from the point where kiddo's can walk it is probably worth checking out this venue. I would definitely bring shoes that you aren't worried about keeping perfect; even though they do a great job of cleaning up there is still a lot of animals and a chance to get poop on your shoes. They have peacocks, chickens, goats, sheep, cows, pigs, horses. Probably the most sheep. At this point they all know the routine and no one is shy about coming over for food. Staff here does a great job, wouldn't waste my time in the gift shop. read more

This place is fantastic! I must clarify this statement to say only if you love friendly farm animals. I had visited myself with my then boyfriend many moons ago, we returned with our kids when they were very young, and we now returned with our teenagers in tow. We all still loved it! Plenty of parking, super reasonably priced. Lots of shady spots to bring a picnic lunch if you wanted. A beautiful property to match the personality of the animals. You can buy feed when you pay entrance for either sheep or goats at $1 per bag. Free range chickens & ducks abound (these are mostly not as pettable due to small visiting children constantly torture/chasing them :( There are 3 bathroom stalls which are mostly just outhouse style (a hole in the ground) the place is so great however you can dismiss that. When you walk in to the left is a building that houses baby chickens and a working bee hive, while we were there a chick was in the incubator hatching out, captivating. There are then 3 goat pens grouped by age and you are allowed to enter each one, the goats are all ridiculously friendly and happy to hear the sounds of the feed bag in your hands. There is a large barn that is the maternity ward and has bunnies, baby bunnies, sheep with baby sheep, and underneath a baby cow and more chickens. Then there are pens with sheep, llamas, a peacock, a horse, 2 donkeys, a mule, cows, the list goes on, all are pettable and you guessed it friendly! We will undoubtedly return with or without kiddos in tow. read more

The Friendly Farm is an awesome place to take the kids if you are near Dublin, NH. We went during the week and it was not very crowded. The admission is very reasonable and there are enough animals here to check out for a couple of hours. You can pretty much roam freely here and feed the animals some oatmeal. The goat pen was a little crazy as the all rush you once you get in. It is challenging and funny trying to keep them in the pen while leaving though. While we were here we were able to pet countless animals and one of the girls let my daughter bottle feed a very new baby goat. The staff here is very friendly and helpful as well. There is also a nice gift shop here which has a lot of toys and clothes that kids will like. Overall I would say that this place is highly worth a stop if you have kids and are looking for something to do. My mother in law and wife are originally from NH and have had very fond memories of this place while growing up. I can definitely see why and glad our kids were able to visit as well. read more

Is it the Friendly Farm or is it George Orwell's Animal Farm? Folks, it pains me to have to tell the truth here, but I have been haunted by this farms secrets for many years. Yes, this place is a beautiful farm with many gentle and loving creatures, but it is NOT a sanctuary or refuge, and therein lies the rub. Many years ago, my daughter and I adored this place so much, we bought season tickets for many years during her childhood. We had lots of unforgettable fun every time. One particular year we went so many times that my daughter befriended a dwarf goat that she named "goatie!" Every time we visited, this amazing goat would run to her. Then one day, I got the call from her crying hysterically that the farm had closed for the winter and she didn't get to say goodbye. What else was a dotting father to do, but call the farm. The farmer told me "goatie" was gone. I said "what do you mean gone!" "Aren't they just inside for the winter?" He said "sometime you have to "harvest" them and call it a business." Getting desperate (we had many pets, and I always thought a few goats would be great) I offered to buy "goatie" and give him a great life. Again he said the goat was gone but as reality set in, I didn't want to believe him. The truth is, these adorable baby animals only stay new for a season or two, and then the "glue truck" arrives. So the harsh reality is these animals get to live a magical life surrounded by children for a very short while, and then it's business as usual. I'm not sure if this lack of transparency is honorable and it has haunted me. My daughter is all grown up now and I recently shared the truth with her. It was a something very sad... very very sad! I do not wish to harm the Friendly Farm's reputation in any way, as it does have a magical side to it. I would just like to see its visitors ask if there is a better way to treat these animals as they age after 1 or 2 magical seasons. There has got to be a better way. If they could change that harsh truth, I would give this place a hundred zillion stars! read more

Lovely place for the young and young at heart. Took my 87 yr old mother and two grandkids. ( 4 and 2). Brought a picnic lunch as well. Well worth admission. Not a big place. My four yr old was entranced. 1.5 hr including eating lunch. All home by bap time. Also baby animals everywhere!! read more

The Friendly Farm is a GREAT place to bring the family. Reasonably priced and kids LOVE it every time. For those who dont know, it is basically a big fenced in farm where you can touch, hold, pet, feed almost every animal. Chicks literally hatching all the way up through full grown chickens (if you can catch one haha), ducklings, baby goats and sheep, geese, baby rabbits, calves, horse, pigs, peacock, even llama are all at TFF.... We now live 45 minutes away but have been living an hour and a half away yet still make the trip a couple times a year.... WELL worth it. Regarding another review here, ive been going to TFF for 15 plus years.... There are years where the animal population is higher and some lower. The horse and cow may well HAVE been sick... Living things have a tendency to fluctuate in population and can get sick from time to time. $6-7/person is a pretty reasonable admission to walk into a farm world with your kids imo read more

My husband, 16 month old daughter and I visited Friendly Farm today for the first time. My husband grew up in the area and remembers visiting as a child. He has been asking to bring our daughter since she was born! Friendly Farm is wonderful! You can enter almost every pen/area (excluding the geese and cows). The farm is very, very clean, and the animals have lots of room (many roam free altogether!) There are baby chicks to hold, sheep to pat, goats to feed, and even llamas! I think we will continue to bring out daughter here as she gets older. Friendly Farm would be good for children of a variety of ages! Bring a picnic lunch, there is a great area of tables in the shade! read more

This is a great place to bring the kids. You can buy a bag of feed for the animals (cheap, like about a dollar) and feed the animals. You can watch the staff bottle feed the baby animals. As you walk into the sheep area, the sheep jump right up on you, wanting to be fed, just like your dog does when you get home. The admission is cheap and they have a cool gift shop. read more

I have been going to The Friendly Farm my whole life. Been bringing my kids there for their whole lives. You can't find a more pleasant way to kill an hour of two on a day trip in NH. The staff is always friendly(no pun intended) the animals are great and just makes a great time for the family of almost any age. My only advice would be this to newbies: Wear shoes and clothes that you don't care about getting dirty since there are jumpy goats and they don't always wipe their feet before jumping on you for food. If you're traveling a ways keep in mind it will kill about 1-2 hours tops. There isn't much else to do in Dublin so if it's you're only stop that day, you may have to stretch out your visit to make the drive worthwhile. read more

Service is where this place gets its name from, the staff was extremely friendly and they all seemed to always have a smile on their faces. The animals I found when going here were goats, chickens, roosters, sheep, rabbits, cows, donkey, llama, pigs, ducks... and for each animal they had multiple adult and baby animals which was really nice to see. So besides the wide variety of farm animals the place itself is organized really well and actually pretty clean for a farm. Admission is $8.50/person when I went, and a bag of food(for the animals) is $1. Other than that there was a gift shop in the middle of the farm that sold a lot of stuffed animals/clothing/trinkets of all kinds (animal themed of course) and also sold snacks (human snacks) and beverages. Definitely a great experience and I highly recommend anyone come down here if they have a chance, I promise you won't regret it. read more

My granddaughter loves our weekend trips to the friendly farm. It has always been a wonderful place to take the kids out for a day adventure and I find it enjoyable myself too! It is a great and affordable place to take the family out for a day and where we can all have fun checking out the animals! The staff there is always kind and helpful and makes for a great experience all around. I would absolutely recommend taking your family for a fun day if you haven't already. Last time we went was many years ago and I loved it!! Now I was not impressed at all. They had half the animals as normal and the horse and a few other animals looked very sick. Also when we went before more animals roamed around for the children to interact with. For the price and cleanliness of it I would not waste my time. read more
