We were thrilled to win a "Luxury Ski Trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming" on Let's Make a Deal, announced on national television as being valued at $4,298.00. However, the applause faded quickly. I filled out all the paperwork for the trip within 24 hours of our show airing on November 11, 2024, and then spent the next six months begging and pleading for someone to respond. We were told we had six months to use the trip, but that we could not go the week before or after a holiday weekend. Considering the only months we could choose from were December, January, and February, this was... challenging. The LMAD email stated that it takes "two to six months from when you submit your travel dates (sometimes longer depending on the property and the dates you submitted)" to receive confirmation. Are you kidding me? It takes six months to respond? I'm glad vacations aren't seasonal. Oh wait... Trying to get the trip we were awarded involved over 45 emails, most of them unanswered. While waiting, I asked what I felt was a reasonable question about how the prize value could possibly be $4,298.00. There is no math where this works. I tried. The hotel room averages under $125 per night. No food was included. No skiing was included. Our flights (I have the receipt) were $800. How exactly did they arrive at that number? The response I received was: "You are always welcome to forfeit any prize you win on the show as well!" Nothing says congratulations quite like being told you may opt out of the prize after paying taxes on it. Also, we were required to pay $300.86 in taxes via PayPal to "Erin's" individual email address, which felt really sketchy. Why exactly does Erin get my money instead of a business? After 6 months, I was then told the trip had expired, and it was too late to go. We had missed our chance. Running entirely on rage and caffeine, I went searching deep into the dark web and found an underground game show thread where someone had posted the phone number of an assistant producer. I called it. Someone actually answered. That person, either out of fear or pity, said he would reach out to AmTrav on my behalf. This worked. I finally heard back, only to be told again that the trip had expired. After some frazzled and slightly unhinged emails, they decided to allow us to use the trip on December 6, 2025. I should be all set now, right? Our six-night "luxury hotel" stay was at the Rockwell Inn Jackson Hole. Our room was located in the basement of an apartment-style building. We had a small window with a view of... a fence. Because we were underground. That's it. Directly across the hall was the maintenance room, with a door that remained open at all times, giving us a constant view of old mattresses and tools. There was also no sidewalk or walkway to our building, so we had to trek through a snow-covered parking lot every time we entered or exited. Sadly, every listed amenity was a disappointment. I'd genuinely love to know if my expectations were unreasonable. For example, the "free shuttle to the ski hill." When we asked about it, the hotel receptionist told us the shuttle wasn't ready and that her boss had told her to drive us herself, but she really didn't want to and asked if we would mind taking the bus instead. So... we took the public bus. Jackson Hole is insanely expensive. Walk down Main Street. Sweaters are $900. Gloves are $200. It's wild. Since we couldn't afford to eat out, we bought groceries instead. Unfortunately, the microwave in our room was broken, so that plan didn't work either. Yes, the "deluxe" breakfast was included. But both the coffee and oatmeal were served cold. Not room temperature. The "pool" was technically present, but only in the legal sense of the word. Shaquille O'Neal could probably touch both ends at the same time. It felt more like a large hot tub filled with cold water. This "luxury hotel" had no restaurant, no bar, no drink vending machine, and most hurtful of all, none of the advertised warm chocolate chip cookies. This was the final blow. When we won the trip, the image blazing across the screen was a skier zooming down a mountain with a big caption that said "Luxury Ski Trip to Jackson Hole!" It's hard to understand how this was advertised when no skiing was included. Lift tickets in Jackson Hole cost $250 per person per day. Skiing would have cost us over $2,500, plus rentals. And, of course, bus fare. I did, however, touch Wayne Brady's hand while on the show. That part was magical. The rest of the Let's Make a Deal / Amtrav experience was a masterclass in how not to run a business. We came home in debt, with nothing to show for it. read more

I had so much fun on this TV show. I tell you what. I won $1500 from Wayne Brady and was super happy about that and then I secretly signed my boyfriend up and he actually got on the military episode special and I can tell you that this episode is going to be beyond amazing the best episode that ever came out on this TV show alone. He won a truck and everything. He still hasn't gotten it yet. Even though it's almost been a year but there is a protest going on on actors and writers, so I kind of get the hold up. It sucks but it happens. I've been in contact with some of the producers to keep me updated because I am super excited to see that episode and how every reacted to the prizes. Unless you have a handicap placard, they will have you park at the lumber yard a block over. It's free and a short walk to where you go through security, they process, and interview you in groups of about 15. This is where they choose the contestants for the show. They are looking for outgoing personalities, great costumes, demographics, and interesting occupations or stories. They take your picture in front of a green screen & you can buy them for $20+ I attended a taping of The Price is Right before Bob Barker retired and at that time, it was a ton of waiting in line outside & standing around. I loved that Let"s Make a Deal provides seats, air conditioning, and they play past episodes on large screens. After they get enough people to fill the studio, they take your phone and bus you over to where they tape the episode you will be on. After a short wait outside on benches, it's covered but can still get pretty warm in the summer, they take you inside and direct you where to sit. They provide free water the entire time, which is great. We did not get selected but we really enjoyed our experience. The whole crowd was just so happy, energetic, and friendly. I would highly recommend it, if you like dressing up. It's fun & free, who knows you might even get to make a deal! Attending one taping takes about 5 hours & if they have room, they will let you sit in on the next one. When done, they bus you back, give you back your phone and you are free to go. read more

Really fun experience! Long day but had a ton of fun! I recommend bringing some snacks and a bottle of water but overall a good time.

The most horrible show I was hired to participate in once last year. I was lied to I will be paid $100. It has been close to 1 year I never got paid for being there. I was treated like a slave working hard all day, I had to continuously clap, and shout. I lost my voice at the end. I realized the show ad to be rigged and they do not select contestants randomly as they claim to do. The food was rotten and old, I broke my teeth eating some dry oatmeal bar being there for 8 hours. read more

This was a really fun experience. I ended up winning what was behind the curtain! My show hasn't aired but it should have and i just started to receive my prizes. This was not fun, period. Wayne, you're to blame. First off, Prepare to be there all day and I mean ALLLLL DAYYYY. Second, If you are driving from more than an hour away, turn back around & save your time, it's not worth it. The show & operation itself: 3/5 The host: 0/5 Heres the deal: They do a pre-screening based on gender, appearance, occupation, etc before you even go into the building. You are told to smile & act outgoing because "you never know who is watching" but in reality, they've already chosen who they were going to pick long before. If you look closely, the vast majority of 5-Star comments are all from people who were picked as contestants before the show even started, don't be fooled! As an audience member, it is a mediocre experience. I would give the show itself 3/5 stars because though it wasn't HORRIBLE, it just wasn't "fun". Overall, the show was alright in itself. There are fun games being played and people actually winning items, but it is NO WHERE near what it looks like on TV. The breaks in between are long and you have to film yourself fake laughing over and over and over and over. Now, on to my MAIN complaint. I've been to quite a few of these tapings to gain experience in production but never have I ever seen a host act so bratty. Wayne Brady was miserable to be around. Sure he is so upbeat and energetic on television, but the moment that camera stops rolling, he is straight faced and snaps at everyone around him. Once it starts rolling again, he is all smiles. I've heard him belittle his cast & make those around him feel so inadequate. The show has more silly skits and talking than giving out prizes. It gets boring to watch after a while. They give out gifts that not everybody can use. Alot of people don't have room for a hot tub or a game room. They make it almost impossible to win the car or the big cash prize.almost everybody gets zonked. They'll give you name tags & a number 6. Interview outside: Be energetic and smart. They'll ask: What you do for a living, what you do for fun, and what's your favorite game in the show. 7. They'll direct you to a tent where you can rent a costume (i dont recommend renting one) and purchase food / drinks while waiting, take & buy pictures for $20 (1pc), $30 (2pcs) 8. They'll collect all your cellphones 9. Showtime! Studio: they'll decide where you'll seat. 10. Have fun. Pros: + Easy to get tickets online + Free street parking along Bronson Ave. + Shaded outside so it's not that hot while waiting + All their staff was friendly and energetic + Not a bad experience + Customer service on the phone was fast so if you have any questions, they'll accommodate you right away Cons: - Wayne (the host) was not interacting with the audience.. At all! He was nice only when the camera was ON. When it's OFF, he won't even look / talk to you so don't expect anything from him. - Went there 1 hour prior to taping time because i thought if you go there early, you'll get better seats... I was WRONG!.. The staff decide where you'll be seating depending on your costume and energy - They're pretty biased on who to pick. Half of the winners were TEACHERS / COACH / TRAINER because they make good/smart conversations, plus they teach Wayne new things. For instance, one of the winner was a Karate trainer so he taught Wayne some moves so it'll look fun on camera. - $10 costume rental : cheap, yes but you get what you paid for - very limited choices and they're not that good/noticeable... Not worth it! Tips: * Print your tickets * Be energetic, dance your life away * Wear the most noticeable / unique costume * Check their twitter to see what to bring * Know some details about your costume. For instance, one of us wore a "Santa Claus" costume so they asked him all the names of his reindeers * Bring snack (I'm not sure if they allow it though, you can ask) * You'll spend 4 hours from arrival time If your want to get picked, i advice you to: 1. Wear the most unique and noticeable costume. One winner was a very cute pineapple 2. Make your story interesting. There was a man who's job is to make wires. 3. Be energetic. There was a couple who won a car. They dressed up as baseball players (with bat). You'll see that it's not that unique BUT they were so jolly and energetic so they got picked. All of the people who worked there have such a great energy making the show fun. Wayne Brady is a great host and is truly the real deal! Everything about this show is Hollywood game show fun. The producer made it so much fun to be there and even the guy who briefed us on how to behave did it in a stand-up comedic way. It was fun, it was awesome, and it truly made dreams come true! I had so much fun. I met tons of new friends. I ever became friends with a couple who proposed on the show!! I was a recent contestant on this show and it was one of the best experiences I've had since moving to Los Angeles. The show is and will be as fun as you make it. I must commend everyone from the audience control people, to the crew, and Wayne Brady himself. There is so much positivity on this set that if you don't have a good time, you should reexamine your outlook on life. Make sure you arrive on time, and a little earlier if necessary to find a good parking spot. Come up with a good costume and have great energy. You will be there for awhile so make sure you have a good meal before arriving and bring snacks to munch on. This show is number one on daytime television for a reason. I had such an awesome time, me and my friends road tripped out to the show. It was quite a wait till you actually get into the show but it was a nice wait. I liked interacting with the other contestants while waiting to be on the show. It was great hearing peoples stories and talking about out costumes. Someone stole toilet paper tho, not cool bro. They already have your seats assigned to you by number. I guess it helps to get a lesser number so you can be more upfront. I am not sure what the deal was I was soo loud , I even had a dino floaty I was throwing up an waving around , my friends were the best dancers ever too and we got ignored. I saw Wayne Brady eating a huge bowl of cereal and he couldn't finish soo I was yelling at him to let me get some but nope , ignored. I was yelling, " DOes Wayne Brady have to CHoke a bitch!" Y'know that's his line, he didn't seem to like it. Man when the song Jump around came on I was pumped and hella jumped. It was kinda cool how he was riding this guys white Pony ha , Wayne Brady Said "WHy do you call him JOhnny ?" The guy said well cuz he's white ha ha. I liked the studio, it's smaller then I thought it'd be which I liked. I thought that'd make my odds better but nah. It is a pretty comfy studio. I am surprised he is able to delivery that same intro many times a day with the same enthusiasm. I must say what you see on TV is really what happens in the show and it is really exciting to see some one win a big prize. If you have ever wanted to be on a TV game show, I would recommend going on "Let's Make a Deal". Especially if you can sing or do Kung Fu or something interactive. I have noticed all of the Kung Fu guys got selected to be a contestant and they were quite good at Martial Arts. The singer, well... not so good but still got selected. Waited in 100 degree weather for hours being treated like peasants by rude unprofessional chicks with clip boards! who never updated us on what was taking so long. I overheard one of the woman say "everyone in line is definitely not going to make it into the show" When i turned to deliver the news to my husband she shouted to me "Quit spreading rumors!" that lady musta been having a rough day, i literally just heard her. My LMAD experience was fantastic! I was not picked (nor were any of the people in my group), but I still had an amazing time. Most of the Yelp reviews concentrate on having to wait for so long to actually get to the taping--Agreed. There was a bit of waiting, but to us it didn't feel like it was dragging at all. We showed up to the guest check-in at 9:30 am, and didn't get out of the holding area until about 12:30 pm, but honestly we were hanging out, chatting with people, and having a great time, so it didn't feel like that long to us. After everyone was processed (about 160 people in 3 hours! that's great timing in my opinion), we were taken in buses (nice buses, mind you) to the studio. There was a little bit of waiting there, too, but again, not a big deal. There was a place for you to buy snacks/coffee/drinks, and we were under shade the entire time, so it was comfortable. Taping started about 1:30 pm, and we were done by 3:00 pm. It was neat to see Wayne Brady and the cast, but I was mostly impressed at the crew. The show was set-up and taped like a well-oiled machine. Very efficient. I was really impressed at how organized and fluid the process was, given that there were 160 people to process in such a short amount of time. The staff were super courteous and energetic, and I could tell that they genuinely liked their jobs, even though they had to answer the same question from different people over and over again (people just don't listen!). The only reason why I gave the experience a 4/5 stars is because of the bathroom situation (port-a-potty type of deal), but again, not a huge deal. My advice is that if you plan to go, bring snacks/drinks, maybe a deck of cards to keep occupied, and a good attitude about the experience. Don't expect 1st class accommodations, don't expect to get picked, don't expect the day to go by quickly, don't expect to walk away with stuff (prizes, money, etc). Here is an honest and thorough review. I'm sure most of the 5 star reviews came from people associated with the show in some way. If you are traveling from afar please save your money! I also don't recommend this show if you live in the area go on a different show! Not only was the show a complete waste of the day but it's very rigged. First things first our ticket said the showing starts at 10:30 and to be there an hour before if you want to get in. We showed up at 9 only to find out that the filming won't even start until 1. To make it worse people were showing up at noon and were still able to get in. After filling out the paper work we were sent through a screening process where they ask you a few questions such as "where are you from" what do you do". Now don't be fooled by these simple questions because what they're really doing is secretly auditioning you to find out if you'd make a good contestant for their show. We were then escorted into a waiting room for the next 4 hours. The only form of entertainment were two big tvs that had reruns of the show. Now here's the kicker they expect you to sit and wait all happily/excitedly while you're starving,tired, and freezing (place had the AC cranked to the heavens). Most people I know didn't eat and they provide you with no food or drinks. They had one water station but of course the bottles were all empty. The only options were a food truck and some cheap snacks like dry muffins, croissants, fruit that didn't look fresh and drinks all which you had to pay for. FORGET IT! We ended up leaving to go get some food we should've just never returned. Many of the participants there had told us that the staff had already picked the 15 contestants on their show but of course when we asked the staff members to confirm this they denied it stating that "everyone has an equal chance of playing once they enter the studio" LIE #1. She knew we weren't planning on coming back so of course she tried to do everything to convince us otherwise. I just wish I stuck to my gut feeling. Like someone said they treat you like cattle. We made it back to the studio right as they were lining people to go in. We had excellent seats at the front but that didn't matter since they already picked their people. Of course as soon as we are in the studio and can no longer leave the producer comes out to confirm exactly that. They also tell you that if you cheer and dance like crazy then they will change their minds at any point on who they will pick to go up. LIE #2. I figured out part way through that they just say that to get the audience going so that the show looks exciting on tv. My friend and I felt absolutely used. Tickets are free so that they can easily fill up an audience. By the time we left the studio it was 3:30. We wasted almost a full day only to come out with a gaudy online cookbook code, as if people can't google up recipes these days. They tell you to dress up in costume but they tend to pick people with similar costumes to go on the show. This show cheats. At the end one girl played for the big deal. She originally picked the 1st door. After her decision was made my friend noticed that they switched the prizes behind the door from the 1st to the 3rd. It didn't really occur to me about Wayne until a few people mentioned that he is cold with his audience. I don't recall him saying hi or anything once during the show. The only people he acknowledges are the contestants he's asking questions too. As soon as we are done filming each of his segments he runs off backstage to "get" more money yet they don't hand out the prizes until the end of the show when everyone has left the studio. Although I'm bummed I wasted my time, I now know what these types of shows are like and I will never be going on them again. read more

This was one awesome experience I got to check off my bucket list but don't mind going again. I went with a group of 4; my husband, sister, and brother in law. But first off yes some of the the reviews are true but honestly DONT have any expectations of getting picked. I'm sure just as long as you have fun and show the producers and cast enthusiasm then that's all that matters of course for a great show. Also don't expect much from Wayne Brady. He's a wonderful comedian but he hardly interacts with the audience only when the camera is on. The cast staff members are pretty funny and informative. First off, we had priority tickets to the 11am show and depending on if it's not a busy show episode then you might get a chance to go on the next one. They do pick the contestant prior so be on your toes right when you walk in LITERALLY. They choose contestants based on their energy but also their personality, but it can always change once they get to the studio. You will be interviewed and waiting for about an hour or two before you are shuttled to the studio. Then you wait another 30-45 minutes before they bring you in. Bring snacks but they also have snacks and beverages so dont worry. It's just a little pricey... As of bathrooms they only have port-a-pottys so don't expect a fancy bathroom. You will be there for at least 5-8 hours depending on how many shows you stay for. Otherwise, overall it is a whole day experience. And if you dont have a costume, dont worry they have some for rent. They had already chosen who's gonna be on the show when they interview everybody. You can totally tell by that moment. I knew my friends&I weren't gonna be picked at all. Right BEFORE the bus ride, I bet my friends on exactly who they were gonna pick already for the show. So what do you know I WAS RIGHT! pShh... after attending this event i stop watching the tv show. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED... especially a show i like. I would've forgive them if i could've at least say hi or shake their hands to any of the actors there but they just disappear after everything was done. It was one of my DREAMS to go there before my BRAIN SURGERY but unfortunately surgery got pushed ASAP so then i healed for a few months & attended out to the show. I went to this show a few years back... so I'm long overdue for this review. This taping is as much fun as you make it... and a fairly long process. There is a lot of waiting and other things that happen before the actual taping. The main keys to getting picked is to bring out you most enthusiastic crazy personality and a standout costume... but I think the personality is more key. When checking in, you go through security, no weapons obviously and you sign waivers for being on TV. There is a photo booth before the interview where you can view your picture online for free, or pay for an actual copy of the picture. I still have my number card as a souvenir. You wait and wait... and they interview people in groups. They line people up in lines and if I remember correctly, interview about 10 people at a time. You do not have that much time during the interview, they go through the line and pretty ask everyone the same question i.e, you name, what you do, etc. If you seem like you might qualify, then they ask you a few more questions. They are looking for people who are loud, crazy, and will make for good TV. They do not want to pick someone quiet, soft spoken, and boring. All the contestants are prepicked before the start of the show. Wayne Brady has earphones that tell him who to look and point to to come down and play the games. When we went, he accidentally pointed to the wrong person... but they still let her play... but they did tell her that she was not actually chosen, lol. During the commercial breaks, they are still looking around for people to pick, for the mini games I guess or people for when Wayne Brady walks around the audience. My friend and I did not get chosen... but it was still fun. Perhaps next time we will try to be more crazy so we can get chosen. It was our first time, so we did not know much about how stuff was going to happen. If you follow them on Twitter, you can win money still at the end of the show. They will post what items to bring for money. Being on the 'other side' of the television in a game show audience makes for an interesting experience-- also a long, and ultimately pointless, day that I would not be eager to repeat. While visiting Los Angeles I was presented with the opportunity to be "on" the Let's Make A Deal television game show. I had never actually seen this show prior to the morning we were scheduled to do the taping (actually watched it on TV as we were dressing up in costumes for the show). Now that I have seen it, both on TV and from the studio audience, I'm done. I suppose there must be a home audience for this crap or else it wouldn't still be on the air, but I thought it was tedious and awful. Contestants are picked by some unseen 'producers' based on gender, race, appearance, etc. before the show begins-- meanwhile the rest of the audience is told repeatedly to keep up their fake smiles and enthusiasm because just they just *might* still be able to win something. The lucky few who are called up to the stage (perhaps a dozen out of two hundred or so in the audience) are presented with the opportunity to "make a deal" with the show's host, Wayne Brady. There is absolutely no knowledge or skill required to 'play'; it's purely a game of chance: pick a door, curtain, or box and be rewarded with treasure or nothing. Yawn. As far as the experience of being on the show, it took about 6 hours and consisted mainly of sitting and standing around waiting while trying to 'keep the energy up' since those mysterious producers might just be watching at any time. Tickets to the show were free, but souvenir photos with a "Let's Make A Deal" backdrop were $20 each, and they were also selling hats and t-shirts emblazoned with the show's logo. Snacks and drinks were available inside the waiting area at airport prices ($3 for a soda!?). I've gotta say, I'm not sorry that I went to the taping-- it was certainly an interesting experience! It was also a relatively inexpensive diversion as far as Los Angeles area tourist activities go I just wouldn't be in a hurry to go through it all again. Oh, and for some reason they tape these shows MONTHS in advance: the show I was on, which was taped in November, didn't air until May. Lame. read more

Let's make a deal is a high energy show with lots of screaming and hollering. It was so much fun and a great experience for us. We traveled here for vacation. I called and was told that we could get tickets. So we bought our costumes and we had fun. Everyone there was so nice and full of energy. It's an upbeat crowd that they select during the pre-screening which is done outside while you're waiting to get in. They ask you questions like what do you do for a living. What type of things you like to do for entertainment. And if selected bring that energy with you. We didn't get called down but the games and people that we met will always be memorable. I also can't wait to see it air on television which from my understanding it takes about 6 months to air. They give you a four digit code to look up on their website after the taping so you will know when it will air but he did say it can take up to six months. I really don't understand why the 1 star from previous reviewers but our experience was not negative at all. Overall it was a great experience, and how often do you get a chance to be on television. This was definitely a great time. It's a whole day ordeal. We did the 11am time. We were requested to be there at 10am and finished at 430pm. This included travel to and from the studio. If you don't come with a costume you can purchase one at the facility. They range from $10-25. They also come in all sizes. It seemed to go small = less money. They interview you in a big group so stand out. Be genuine, be real, be you. One thing I should have done before hand was eat a big meal. I had eggs and tea. It didn't fill me up at all. I got a tamale combo from the restaurant inside. It was phenomenal. They took both cash or card. The name of the real game is waiting! Stand here, sit there, ride here, cheer, smile, and don't forget to maintain your energy before you even get to the set for the show. All-in-all it was a great Pre-Birthday adventure. read more

Do not listen to the bad reviews. Let's Make a Deal is awesome! I went to a taping yesterday morning and was treated kindly by the staff who were energetic and very happy! The wait was not bad as they kept you engaged and the time flew by. Yes they announce some rules on how to behave but that is because it is a tv show so no you can not hug or kiss Wayne without asking him which is only appropriate and the respectful thing to do! And no they do not want you arguing with the host cause it is a tv show meant to be funny not dramatic! Also yes Wayne did leave in between taping but that is because the show is not rehearsed so he needs to go over what the next prize and game is! Since he must ad lib that only makes sense. And for the record I did not get picked but still had an amazing time and would do it again! Also the snack bar prices were not that bad...when you go watch any sporting game, go to a concert or any other group activity you pay alot more. read more

Im so disappointed I mean the people in the staging are nice , you are there for hours and unfortunately there's only a small snack shop ( very pricey) but what you gonna do then they bus you to the studio but the reason im so hurt is cause im disabled and so desperately want to go on the show I gave so much energy even getting up and dancing during the commercial break couldn't even breath but I wanted to be on but watching lmad I see they don't pick disabled people making it heartbreaking but thankfully im local I'll keep trying and keep you posted my advice be prepared for a long day eat before and bring snacks I love Wayne , Johnathan, and Tiffany and love the show read more

My sister, mom, and I ventured out to LA from San Jose at 530am this morning to make it to our taping that started at 1pm. We did get there a little early which was probably one of the best decisions we made cause it helped save a lot of standing around. We checked in, filled out our paperwork, the. Proceeded to the interview process (this happens as a group), then went into the waiting room while everyone else finished processing. The producers kept telling us to be energetic and keep smiling. They were watching us consistently. Those who acted like they were having the most fun were more likely to be chosen as contestants however I found that the contestants being chosen were those that either had a good story, had a great job, or weren't really acting all that excited to be there. When the taping starts it's really fun. But about 30 minutes into it the studio starts to get really hot, your dancing and clapping during the entire "commercial break" then right when Wayne returns your back smiling and screaming. It became very exhausting quickly. Not really sure of the reason behind us having to dance and stuff when we're not actively recording at that moment. Other than leaving with a sore throat, sore hands from clapping, and absolutely nothing won, it was a decent experience. Just to see all the behind the scenes stuff that goes into a show. Now that I've seen how they do it, I don't think I'll be returning to this again. read more

We were so excited to go on the show, but there are many reasons for your excitement to turn into bitterness and frustration. This woman recruited us to be on the show and told me I would be picked so there was the first mislead to make you feel chosen and special, when in reality you're one of 200 audience members to fill studio space. I had to speak with 4 people on the phone for multiple phone interviews while at work, which continued to lead me to believe I would be a contestant. Also they mentioned that the game show process lasts 4-4.5 hours, when in actuality it is 6 plus hours, with no complementary food or refreshment. It is very hot out waiting as well. Line #1 arrival line Line #2 security line Line #3 photo line and screening Group screening Line #4 costume and photo (not complementary picture for download $20-$30 for one photo) Refreshments and food for purchase only group seating with everyone - preparation speeches for the show - they want sustained enthusiasm for a chance to win prizes even though people are previously picked. Bus ride to studio Wait outside the studio Everyone is directed to use the Porto potty even though there are available clean restrooms inside Previous audience members come out of the prior show looking spent The whole show you are encouraged to cheer and be exuberant even during commercial breaks we all dance like a monkey in the promise that if you are fun you might be picked Show is interesting but ultimately exhausting and it is more than 4 hours and there is no compensation or appreciation for the audience like food or a free picture for your time. When the show is over the producers and crew just leave and you are boarded back on the bus and go home empty handed without even a small of memento appreciation. You leave starving and feeling used. They should treat audience members better. On the bus, People said they just wanted orange juice and a piece of pizza for the 6 hours they were there. read more

Best Game Show Ever! It was so organized and everyone there was genuine and just looking for a good time. Wayne Brady is awesome!! A great host!!! He was so funny, quick, easy on the eyes and super talented. We had so much fun!!!! We've done our share of shows in the past and this was by far the best!!!! My friend and I went to the show in October. The process is like everyone else has said on here. What's not cool is when you are being interviewed, the only way to get picked is if you act like an idiot. A lot of great people are passed up because they aren't actors and can't act stupid and be completely fake on a whim. I guess the producers don't get that any normal person (not acting like an idiot) who gets picked, will be super excited when they are called up by Wayne to play a game. They don't have to be fake and prove it to you beforehand. This was so lame and truly not worth your time. The people watching at home have no clue and think that Wayne is just picking people out of the crowd on his own when really, they are all pre picked. Even the people at the very end playing for cash. D U M B!! read more
