    Fun photo ops!

This is a must do for any Jeopardy fan! Super easy to register and check in. You park in their large parking structure, and meet in the lower area of the lot to check in. We had to fill out a form, and we walked as a group to the sound stage. Once inside, you get to see tons of jeopardy memorabilia and during the filming Ken Jennings talks with the audience and shares some fun stories! I felt so lucky to be a part of it especially since we just happened to register for a day where they were filming the Tournament of Champions! We got to see and meet past Jeopardy champs and players. We went to the afternoon taping and saw 2 shows back to back. You do get a little 15 minute break between shows to use the restroom or take pictures of their displays. I highly recommend this experience!

Esteban is a BIG fan of Jeopardy!! It made his day!

We were fortunate enough to get two tickets to see the filming of Jeopardy hosted by Ken Jennings! David confirmed our tickets once we arrived. He was EXTREMELY helpful and oh, so courteous! My husband is recuperating from hip surgery so David arranged transportation from the entrance to the filming studio. From there, EVERYONE with whom we interacted treated all of us as royalty! What great human beings!' Keep up the great work!! Excuse me-- I'll phrase it right... "What is excellent customer service"?

This....is....Jeopardy!!!!!! In LA and want to see a taping? I very highly recommend Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune (which tapes in the next studio over). I went to Jimmy Kimmel, the Voice, Chelsea Handler's talk show, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy while I was living in Los Angeles. The last three were all located here at Sony in Culver City, they were the best experiences because they involved minimal waiting and very organized. The Voice was an 8 hour experience that involved way too much sitting around, so I don't recommend that one. FYI, all of these tapings I have mentioned are FREE! I took my parents to one Jeopardy taping and my friend to the other. The one session involved a taping of 2 episodes and the other was 3. The crew has this recording down to an exact science and it runs super smoothly. You arrive at SONY studios and park in the FREE garage. Any time you can avoid paying for parking in LA it's a bonus. There are some nice padded benches in the parking structure for you to wait on until you are taken to the studio. My mom was recovering from a hip injury and she greatly appreciated having a place to sit. After you wait in the garage, you are taken over by a guide to the studio. They give you a chance to use the restroom too. I think a bag search or metal detector was involved before entering the studio. You won't be bored in between takes. Johnny Gilbert, a sweet old man, is the show's announcer. He talks to the crowd and tells you some interesting facts about the show. Alex also chats with the audience in between tapings. Check out this link for tickets: https://www.jeopardy.com/show-tickets/ If Jeopardy is not taping, try for Wheel of Fortune, the two shows share the same crew. I'm really more of a Jeopardy fan, but if you really desire to attend a show taping Wheel is an option.

Enjoyed watching tapings of Jeopardy with friends and my parents. The 11:00 am schedule tapes 3 episodes. If you go to the 2:15pm taping just 2 shows. You can ask Alex Trebek questions during small breaks. He can be funny and sarcastic at the same time. Had a good time overall seeing one of my fave TV game shows.

Culver City is also a pretty area to walk around and get breakfast at beforehand. You check in at the visitors center inside the parking garage. You will see it on your way in to park. They will then walk you to the sound stage where it is filmed. Make sure to use the restroom, grab snacks and water beforehand. They have a mini museum outside the show. Make sure to look at everything before the show or in between the episodes as you will need to leave once they are done filming. The staff was very friendly and pretty organized. The cast was fairly interactive with the audience as well which was appreciated. Be prepared to clap A LOT. Also make sure not to talk or blurt out the answers to a) not ruin the filming b) to not extremely annoy the people sitting next to you :) You will not get to spin the wheel sadly as they said this damages the wheel over time. Overall definitely worth coming! It was probably a 5 hour experience in total.

It's very organized and everyone is super friendly and professional (and fun). Parking is free. We arrived 1 hour early and were probably 10th in line. There's definitely a lot of standing/waiting/walking so plan accordingly. I was not aware that WOF taped 3 episodes a day (Jeopardy was 2)...so that's a long day if you arrive around 9am (we were let out at 2:00). There is no food/little water/few bathroom breaks during this time. So bring snacks/water/whatever. The staff does warn you 5 million times that this is "your last chance to eat or drink". Then 4 hours later you think "welp, I am hungry and thirsty and need to pee". Vanna is awesome and so is Seacrest; they interact with the audience. There's a merch shop you can buy some fun items. For sure a fun experience to at least do once.

The Sony studios have free parking and the show's PA's are well-organized and polite. A bit of a walk through a show-oriented gift store and a short walk to the stage. Totally fun to watch the mechanics of the show and Ken Jennings in action. Would definitely do it again.

This review is for the Jeopardy taping experience…read more My party of 2 had a whole ordeal with attending, as we were previously told via email that they were done taping during the time of our visit. In a moment of serendipity, a taping was about to begin at the same time we were there for a studio tour. I'm not sure how or why there was misinformation given to us, but we had to wait on standby to be considered for a spot and they allowed us to reschedule our tour. We waited patiently as all other guests arrived and were checked in to see if we made the cut. At the very end, we were informed that we made it in! All of the other attendees were rooting for us, which was intense but helped to pass the time. The experience was lengthy and involved a lot of waiting around, but it was a unique and fun behind the scenes look at a show we love. The experience being free of cost to attend makes it a great value, and everyone was friendly during our time there. The only thing that could have made it better was to have some snacks, as I did get a little famished during the 5 hour window because I had not planned to stay that long.
