Today though, I got to tape a TV show for the Game Show Network. I legally can't disclose any more details but I'll just say that Jerry Springer is the show's host (he's a DOLL), the entire episode revolved around ME, and that I was dubbed the "Slutty Rocker Chick". Anyway, the Game Show Network has leased space for current production at Saticoy Studios in Van Nuys. Owned by Hollywood Mobile Systems whom also manage Hayvenhurst Studios, Saticoy Studios was built in 2006. A full sound stage building consists of four floors of dressing rooms (some with showers), productions offices, catering/craft services area, stage elevators, catwalks, and a 12,000 ampage system. The exterior has a sort of New York apartment meets 1800s Charles Dickens feel to provide that essential element to exterior shots as opposed to the Wild West Saloon theme of the exterior of Hayvenhurst Studios. Although not the "prettiest" in interior aesthetics, the layout is perfect for production. The makeup/wardrobe rooms are spacious, large mirrors, with a HUGE wardrobe area, while the dressing rooms have a "living room" area with a couch and then your personal changing/closet area. I felt like the starlet I rightfully am. The actual stage area is LARGE, with a medium-sized arena style audience seating, and ample office areas off stage. Large or small productions can rent space for use and prices are reasonable. It may not be the swankiest studio but it gets the job done and well. Especially when a big network like the Game Show Network is in play and then you get treated like royalty. So go ahead, be a star. Maybe you will end up on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Went to a taping of a TV show... fine place to go be part of a live audience. As others have…read moresaid, it's sort of a "hidden" location but that makes it much more private and quiet... it's like going to a taping in a secret garden or something. Green rooms aren't luxurious but are serviceable and bathrooms are relatively plentiful (a good thing when you have a full studio audience sitting for a couple hours taping a show).

Visually, I was so pleased as well, with the takes turning out well lit, flattering and with a clean back drop. We ran my scenes many times as he was incredibly generous with coaching. By the time I sent in my tapes, I felt so peacefully proud of the work I did and the quality of the shots. The security will chase you out if you stand there for too long. The employees from the surrounding businesses will stare at you. If you park down the street and walk, the sidewalks are dirty, the trees are overgrown, but if you're the worlds biggest The Office fan, IT'S ALL WORTH IT!!!

One time at night there was a bunch of snowmen built across the parking lot and one guy came and hit them all with his umbrella. Probably had some weird fear of snowmen. My favorite experience would be when I saw an employee crash into the pole on the gate and barf on his car. Pretty sure he got a concussion from that but he went right back into his car and drove off... weird. Would recommend to a friend. Beautiful place!
