10 days before my move I had booked with Let's Get Moving. I was told I would get multiple confirmations of my service before and on the day of the move. The morning of my move I never heard from the company, called 7-10 times left 4 voicemails between 9-11am. My move was scheduled for 9-9:30. I finally got a call from a crew member at 11:50 saying he was 30 mins to an hour out - no clear reason as to why my scheduled move had been ignored. At 12:30pm I got an email (pictured below) saying that they could no longer complete my move and that they are "shutting down"? Waited 4 hours just to get cancelled on. No phone conversation, poor communication and it was the last day of my lease, they left me with a 0 possible chance to find a new company and move within the same day. I've been a customer at Lets Get Moving for almost 7 years they have moved me multiple times - good to know that customer loyalty doesn't mean a single thing to this company. I can't say enough about this company. Making the arrangement over the phone was so easy. I talked to someone who is actually in Kansas City. They may not answer the phone and you will have to leave a message, but they returned my call were so accommodating when I had to change my date. But the best thing was moving day. Brian, Austin and crew showed up 30 minutes early, did a quick walk through the house and got to work. A 100 degree Day, 2 Truck, a crew of 6 they moved us from a house and storage unit to our new place in 6 and 1/2 hours. These guys were so patient and accommodating placing our Furnitue exactly were we wanted and moving some pieces when we changed our minds. And their rates are fantastic! Trying to get a refund of my deposit. I read on their website they were closing 2 weeks before scheduled move. Tried multiple times to reach them with no response. I just wanted confirmation they were still going to move us. Had to go with another company for peace of mind. They say they are going into another business. So... I move a lot. Like, I've moved 8 times since 2012. It's ridiculous how much I move... I'm basically a wanderer. I hate it and moving companies are the absolute worst. I've used nearly every moving company under the sun... today, we finally discovered the best moving company on the planet! Alex and Sasha called first thing this morning to let us know they were on their way. They showed up professionally dressed, eager to work and 5-minutes early. They were so careful to wrap ever doorway, roll out mats, clean their shoes. Speed demons... within minutes the cabinets were protected and they were unloading the POD. They were so patient with me as I was being a total pain in the butt and demanded to put "fuzzy feet" on the legs of EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF FURNITURE THAT CAME IN THE HOUSE. They said not a word but were patient with me and so kind. They arranged everything just as I asked. They unloaded the POD in less than an hour, cleaned up after themselves and asked multiple times if there was anything more they could do. THIS PEOPLE IS CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S ABSOLUTE BEST! Oh WOW! The other mooving company (you can surmise the name) dropped me in the middle of a move. I did not know what the heck to do! I went out and rented a 26 foot U-Haul and a dolly, and we were 48 hours away from closing on our house and the new occupants taking possesion. I called them and told me that all their crews were out, but "Let me make a call and see something, I will call you right back." I was not expecting a call back, as it was almost 3:00 PM, but within 15 minutes he called me back and told me when to expect his crew! I was so shocked when a crew of five BIG guys showed up and did not waste any time in loading the u haul. They did not even need the appliance dolly I rented, it was amazing. Let's Get Moving and the guys got more done in 2 hours than the "Cow" company moover. When the evening was drawing near, storms approached and we saw lightning. It was kinda dangerous for these guys to be around a giant metal box (The UHaul), so they scheduled a time for them to come back the next day and unload and reassemble! I was thunder-struck, service, and speed! Not a single item was even nicked let alone scratched. When they were unloading, I stood in one place while each man brought 3-4 boxes to me to tell him where to put it. WHOA! It was a complete carousel of boxes and runners. I am *SO* very impressed with the service, I told our realtor to toss away any business cards of any other moving companies and told her of the greatness of these guys and the company.
