We worked with Caleb and Noah specifically for our jobs and we were beyond pleased with their services. The crew not only worked their tails off to provide results and finishes in a timely manner, but cleaned up incredibly well! I have never had a home renovation completed to such high standards! We had them complete a repair on our vaulted ceilings, fix settling cracks, as well as fixing some previous water damage. All of which were completed perfectly. My biggest positive to this company is how fast they were willing to work with me, they were out in a timely manner to provide measurements, gave us a bid/quote, and scheduled us remarkably fast! I also realize it is a slow exterior season but I couldn't believe how efficient they were! Caleb was also very forward with his communication and providing frequent updates as to where the project stood so I was never caught off guard by any unexpected timeline shifts. Jesse also communicated his timeline of arrivals very efficiently which is a big pro in our book. Overall they provided a top notch service and we are beyond pleased with this company, If we have more work in their field of expertise we will not hesitate to call them back. Not to mention they beat out every other quote I received by a LONG SHOT! Call the Bros, you can't go wrong!

Chris got me hooked up with an evaluation with Braxton, who came to my house almost immediately. Braxton made everything clear and did not try to sell me into anything. He answered all of my questions and made my wife and I feel good about the process with not only Handlin Construction, but with my insurance agency. I was the first house on my block to get my roof done and Braxton kept up with me via texts or calls frequently just to check in. I didn't pay a dime until the job was completed and my insurance claim was settled. I am very grateful to Chris, Braxton and the whole crew (who left my yard cleaner than before they started the work!) of Handlin Construction. I recommend this company do to the communication, the no pressure/reassuring process, and friendly/trustworthy employees. -Edwardsville, Kansas

The carpenters that showed up did a fantastic job but if John shows up as your contractor I suggest you look somewhere else for your remodeling needs. Even after several calls and requests to modify a simple door replacement quote he showed up the day of the install with the wrong quote information. This was for a small project as a test run for a bigger project we are planning on doing. All I can say at this point is there's no way we would work with them again. The total lack of follow up and lack of communication is unacceptable when it comes to consumer affairs. The only reason they get 1 star is for the understanding carpenters that did a nice job.

Luke Williams…read moreis the very knowledgeable project manager that was very helpful and genuinely committed to making sure that the project was successful. He made the process of working with my insurance company very simple and was very familiar with the adjuster who was assigned. When it came time for the team to show up Luke was there to put up protective equipment around all of our garden essentials and the crew was very mindful of our belongings while constantly loading the roofing trash into the trash trailer. Even though the crew is Hispanic there was an English speaker who communicated the daily plans with me at all times of the project. I ordered a designer shingle which is less common, but the crew told me they have many years installing several dozen projects with the same shingle and have had plenty of experience with how to install it. When the project was completed they spent a considerable amount of time cleaning the yard to free it from nails and the smaller debris. I will be happy to recommend JR & Co to as many people as I can for as long as it is relevant.
