I had these guys perform a moving service for me on November 7/2024…read more they showed up on time and were enthusiastic in performing their job. when we arrived at the destination and they were unloading the truck they joked about one of my Connor McDavid pictures not making it. during our unpacking and setting up the new place we realized that in fact were missing a Connor McDavid picture. I immediately called and told them. they assured me that everything that went on the truck came off the truck. I advised them to check the truck again. I received a phone call that yes in fact the picture was buried under moving blankets and they had it. it is now November 30 and they still have not returned the picture. most of this conversation is in text so I'm off to the police station to press charge. "DONT TRUST OR USE THIS COMPANY " one star rating because it won't let me post otherwise

Items were supposed to be dropped at two locations; a storage facility for when my senior's apartment would be ready for occupancy and a few other items to an auction house, items that I would not be able to keep once in a smaller space. I had to leave out of province for two months to care for another elderly relative. By the time I returned and viewed the statement from the auction house, I saw that Eager Beavers were a bit too eager and disposed of many wrong items! I am not impressed at all. And to top it off, I was charged an extra $1500. over my initial quote, $1000 of which was spent for 4 guys to sit in a truck while they were stuck in traffic. Furious, does not adequately convey my feelings.

We just had JL Consulting help with our move this past weekend. They were awesome! Not many…read moreservices out there who do what they do - we rented a Uhaul (only $29 per day) and then paid JL to physically lift all items into the truck and then out again at our new home. This is definitely the way to go if you are looking to move and stay on budget. I'm sure we saved well over $1,000!!!

After a run of bad luck with U-Haul who messed up repeatedly and left me with a much smaller trailer than I needed, these guys managed to pack nearly my entire apartment into the trailer, my backseat and bed of my truck. Going into it, I knew I'd be losing a lot of furniture, but in the end only lost a few things that weren't nearly as important as what they were able to assist with. Then at the end, they even delivered a couch to a friends house and helped her unload it there. Great guys, best part about my move, can't give them any higher praise.

Damage to Furniture & Breach of Packing Agreement -West Canada Movers Inc. During my recent move…read morewith West Canada Movers Inc., several pieces of my furniture were delivered with visible damage. The damage includes chipped edges, dents, and surface scratches as shown in the attached photos. One of the furniture also completely destroyed and unable to use it anymore. According to our signed contract, the movers were supposed to protect all furniture with moving blankets to prevent such damage.Also, they told us they will be wrapped with blankets in their depot but it did not happen. They delivered our furnitures from Toronto to Edmonton without proper protections and blankets. As evident from the delivery condition, my furniture was only wrapped in bubble wrap or plastic film BY MYSELF in some cases, and in others, the corners and edges were left inadequately protected. No thick moving blankets were used as stated in the agreement. If I wasn't wrap myself, all of my furnitures would be useless. They also told us that they will inform us about damages however they never contacted with us. This company is not applying measures as they said. Proper blanket wrapping is a key protective measure for preventing impact and abrasion damage during transportation. The lack of such coverage directly led to the damages sustained.
