    Side salad for more $$

Fully noping this place. Swiss mushroom burger had zero flavor other than the burnt pieces and portions of flame. Obviously it was a frozen patty prior and then way over cooked. Salad was a good portion of lettuce. Onion rings were so hard they couldn't be eaten. Worst part of this was that there were three tables during lunch and this burger took 30 minutes. It certainly tasted like it had 30 minutes on the grill and another 30 sitting waiting. I'm posting a do not order food recommendation for this place.

My husband and I flew into NE to visit family. After a full day, we chose Let It Fly (LIF) so we could watch some games on one of the many TVs. We got there at around 8pm. Thankfully, it wasn't too busy. We got seated right away and had Dawson as our waiter who was a natural. He was polite, genuine and timely; however, at a certain point you get tired of asking how my food is less than 3 minutes after we received our food. Give us some time before you come back 4 more times with the same question. Dawson was great, but our meal felt so rushed- which I didn't appreciate. We had a small nacho pail which was very good. My husband's reuben sandwich and onion rings left a lot to be desired. I chose 6 chicken rings with garlic teriyaki as my sauce. I enjoyed them. Dawson brought the bill before we finished and did not ask if we wanted desert. I asked for it, paid for a scoop of mediocre ice cream for my "Black Out Chocolate cake". Okay guys. I understand the chocolate overload- but dang.... the overload of Hershey's chocolate and one split Reese's cup took away from a cake that could have been delicious alone. Overall, I did not find the staff were very friendly or customer oriented. I enjoyed Dawson, but he could stand to work on not making customers not feel so rushed.

Stopped in to watch a noon football game & get some lunch. It's nice to see this place 3/4 full of sports fans. We split a chicken wrap that was nicely seasoned along with sweet potato fries. We also tried salmon avocado toast (off brunch menu til 2pm!). The toast is thick slices covered with creamy avocado spread, slices of smoked salmon topped with fresh avocado slices, onions , cucumber, radish & a dot of sauce..see pics. This was Super fresh & yummy!! There's plenty of staff working to keep you happy while you're here! Another Great experience.

I feel the same way about Let it Fly West as I do the downtown location - great spot to watch sports and grab a drink, but the food is a total miss. I visited with my husband and two friends on Sunday. We had several games that the group was interested in watching, so it was awesome to accommodate everyone. My friends ordered the onion rings, which were decent. However, our mains really fell flat. Two members of our party ordered the wings and both said they were terrible - the skin peeled right off, the sauce lacked any flavor, and there were hardly any flats included in the bunch. Another person ordered the caesar wrap. She said it wasn't bad, but it was definitely nothing special - basically a bagged salad rolled up in a tortilla. I had the open faced turkey melt. Taste-wise, this was pretty good. However, it was incredibly messy to eat, even with a fork and knife. I will be sure to eat before coming here and just enjoy the drinks and the atmosphere from here on out.

Enjoyed the experience at this sports bar. Lots of TVs, service was good, and lots of food choices. Would recommend giving a try!

The inside was very much like a bar and grill vibe which was perfect for the occasion. It seemed there were only two servers for the whole restaurant. They were nice, but not super attentive. I tried to give them grace but by the time we sat down, ordered, and then got our food it was almost an hour and a half. There were a lot of gluten free options which I appreciated. The fried pickles (gf) were super good especially with some ranch. The hot dog was ok. The bun did what every gluten free bun does and fell apart, but the overall flavor was good. I told her I wanted fries for my side and never received them, which honestly at that point I was over it. I think this place has potential, but it seems really understaffed. I'm willing to give this place another chance in the future.

We have been here a few times in the past so I always try something different. Not sure what had happened but the food was bland, except for the fries and the salad was real good. I had steak Sando I asked for no dressing and I did get it. Bartender offered to get me a new one but I just removed it from the bun. The steak was sliced pieces very very bland and very very tough. The bun was actually tasty. My hubby had the pork tenderloin sandwich his too was bland different than the last time we were there. Love the tvs you can watch just about every sport and one time. Good place for friends get together lots of room but they do get busy if there is a popular game on.

It was a pretty busy evening so we waited a bit for our seats but, for a new restaurant, it was hoppin' and I was glad to see people out and about even on a hot day! Once we were seated our waitress handed us the menu and gave us a moment to look it over. We were seated adjacent to the bar in a long booth. The booth was comfortable and spacious, also a short distance to the bathroom! We all decided on drinks and I went with the Sparkly-berry lemon drink. It was refreshing and had a great balance of the lemon and berry. As I scanned over the menu I loved that they offer gluten free options and a great variety of dishes to satisfy almost any palate! I ultimately chose the Chicken Avo club and went with grilled chicken. I was intrigued that it's served on a croissant bun and had a bunch of my favorite foods in it. It's served with bacon, avocado, chicken, Swiss cheese, tomato, napa slaw, honey, mustard, and garlic aioli. it was excellent! Albeit messy, it was well worth it! Served with a side of fries, which is what my heart truly desired, the whole meal looked as if it would been easy to finish each bite. But the portion size was perfect enough that I actually couldn't finish the whole sandwich. The fries were perfectly crisp and quenched my fries thirst. The four of really enjoyed our time here. We got to catch up and enjoy a great meal at a new to us place where all of us ate something we would come back for. Our server was great! She was quick, friendly, professional, and answered any questions we had. I definitely will come back here again if I'm on this side of town!

She said they DON'T have control over what the YELP menu from Oscars states. The only way I even found out about Oscars Restaurant was through YELP. Obviously Oscars is using YELP to advertise but the lady on the phone said it is not their problem. My standard pizza order is green olive, black olive and mushroom. Often with a side of buffalo sauce and ranch for dipping. When we order they repeat the correct items to us. But more than three times green peppers have been substituted of the green olives. I mean they are green sure but when green peppers makes one ill, they do not want to be surprised when they bite into a piece of pizza. Tonight I order pizza the same way I always do. But when I got home at 630 pm and took the first bite of my first meal of the day it tasted strange and it contained a new strange texture. Looked under the cheese and veggies to find a solid layer of what I believe is sausage. I do not eat pork and if I would have known pork was going to be included I would have not paid $17 for my pizza nor would I have left the restaurant with this inedible pizza. Good luck with your Oscar's orders. I am disappointed in Oscars . When the pizza is made correctly they do a good green olive, black olive and mushroom. So if I do go back I will have to know peel the toppings off my pizza to check that it is correctly made. I have developed the habit of opening the box to make sure there are no green peppers. It's going to be awkward to stand at the register at the bar peeling that topping.

Walked in around 2:30 pm on a total snow day and basically had the place to myself, which was kind of perfect. The vibe inside is exactly what I want in a bar: dark, moody, a little sexy, with dim lighting and rich wood tones. Total escape from the bland strip-mall parking lot outside. Night-and-day difference the second you step through the door. Happy hour runs every day until 6 pm (huge win), so I grabbed the Toasted & Roasted martini for $9--yes, it comes with a toasted marshmallow garnish that actually works--and it was dangerously good. Sweet, smoky, strong... one of those drinks you sip slowly because you don't want it to end. Paired it with the buffalo chicken sliders + fries and demolished everything. Sliders were spicy without being overkill, sauce was on point, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Service was friendly and quick even though it was quiet, and the bartender checked in just the right amount. Prices felt fair (especially with happy hour), and the whole experience just felt... cool. Like the kind of neighborhood spot you brag about finding. Already texted my local friends that they've been sleeping on this place. West End Omaha, I'll be back--hopefully next time with a bigger group so we can try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

The food is pretty basic bar food - burgers, salads, and a few others like fish and chips, and the like. The service has been good and the drinks are always nice and fresh and cold. That is where they shine, the beers and drinks. So I'd say if you visit any Blatt, definitely choose an in person one, and don't expect too much from the food, if you are not a fan of bar fare.
