My husband and I flew into NE to visit family. After a full day, we chose Let It Fly (LIF) so we could watch some games on one of the many TVs. We got there at around 8pm. Thankfully, it wasn't too busy. We got seated right away and had Dawson as our waiter who was a natural. He was polite, genuine and timely; however, at a certain point you get tired of asking how my food is less than 3 minutes after we received our food. Give us some time before you come back 4 more times with the same question. Dawson was great, but our meal felt so rushed- which I didn't appreciate. We had a small nacho pail which was very good. My husband's reuben sandwich and onion rings left a lot to be desired. I chose 6 chicken rings with garlic teriyaki as my sauce. I enjoyed them. Dawson brought the bill before we finished and did not ask if we wanted desert. I asked for it, paid for a scoop of mediocre ice cream for my "Black Out Chocolate cake". Okay guys. I understand the chocolate overload- but dang.... the overload of Hershey's chocolate and one split Reese's cup took away from a cake that could have been delicious alone. Overall, I did not find the staff were very friendly or customer oriented. I enjoyed Dawson, but he could stand to work on not making customers not feel so rushed.

I feel the same way about Let it Fly West as I do the downtown location - great spot to watch sports and grab a drink, but the food is a total miss. I visited with my husband and two friends on Sunday. We had several games that the group was interested in watching, so it was awesome to accommodate everyone. My friends ordered the onion rings, which were decent. However, our mains really fell flat. Two members of our party ordered the wings and both said they were terrible - the skin peeled right off, the sauce lacked any flavor, and there were hardly any flats included in the bunch. Another person ordered the caesar wrap. She said it wasn't bad, but it was definitely nothing special - basically a bagged salad rolled up in a tortilla. I had the open faced turkey melt. Taste-wise, this was pretty good. However, it was incredibly messy to eat, even with a fork and knife. I will be sure to eat before coming here and just enjoy the drinks and the atmosphere from here on out.

Enjoyed the experience at this sports bar. Lots of TVs, service was good, and lots of food choices. Would recommend giving a try!

I had the chicken sandwich with fries and a cold beer + chips and salsa.

It took a while for our server to come take our order, and even longer for our food to come out. The place wasn't very busy, so I'm not sure what was going on. The wings were all right, but not my favorite as I prefer saucy/fried wings, without Charring (I asked our server if I could get these without Char, and she was unsure, so I asked for light Char, if not.). The tater tots were good, but needed some ranch which I used on the side. Our dinner took close to 2 1/2 hours, despite coming in on a quiet Tuesday night. This was overall a decent meal for the price, it tasted OK, and was filling enough. I personally wouldn't come back here, but hopefully they were just having an off night.

They tasted a little heavy on the margarita mix and didn't have the fresh flavor I was hoping for. I also tried the watermelon mule, which was another 5/10. It wasn't terrible, but it had a bit of an odd aftertaste. The highlight was definitely the street corn quesadillas. They were flavorful, well-portioned, and didn't feel overly heavy. I'd order those again. My sister ordered the fried pickles, and unfortunately those were our least favorite item. They were pretty dry and had an almost chalky flavor. The seasoning also fell a little flat, which made them difficult to enjoy. The restaurant itself was clean, had plenty of seating, and the staff was friendly and attentive. While the food and drinks weren't enough for me to go out of my way to visit again, I'd definitely stop back if I was in the area or looking for a place to watch a game.

We were decently early on a Saturday night so we were able to slip right into a table! The food was good, I had the hummus plate with pita and cucumbers for dipping, love that they offer both options! The bartender whipped up a mocktail in a martini glass so I could still play along on our "Martini Flight Night" across Omaha! It was a spicy martini, with some fancy black salt, I'm not quite sure, but it was fantastic!

Walked in around 2:30 pm on a total snow day and basically had the place to myself, which was kind of perfect. The vibe inside is exactly what I want in a bar: dark, moody, a little sexy, with dim lighting and rich wood tones. Total escape from the bland strip-mall parking lot outside. Night-and-day difference the second you step through the door. Happy hour runs every day until 6 pm (huge win), so I grabbed the Toasted & Roasted martini for $9--yes, it comes with a toasted marshmallow garnish that actually works--and it was dangerously good. Sweet, smoky, strong... one of those drinks you sip slowly because you don't want it to end. Paired it with the buffalo chicken sliders + fries and demolished everything. Sliders were spicy without being overkill, sauce was on point, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Service was friendly and quick even though it was quiet, and the bartender checked in just the right amount. Prices felt fair (especially with happy hour), and the whole experience just felt... cool. Like the kind of neighborhood spot you brag about finding. Already texted my local friends that they've been sleeping on this place. West End Omaha, I'll be back--hopefully next time with a bigger group so we can try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

The same consistency I receive for togo orders is present within the walls of their establishments, as well. A lively bar spot with anything but basic bar food. The menu isn't the deepest but what they do, they do well. I've been a long time fan of the chopped salad - simply because the dill ranch is literally thee best dressing. The chicken tenders are a fan favorite and I will not order the salad without them. It's not the fanciest, or the most original but you will not walk out of here unsatisfied. I would try anything off their menu without hesitation. They have a vast beer menu, a few cocktails to choose - but please add an espresso martini to that menu, folks! I know, not original, but you'd make money off of it *wink wink*

ANYWAY, this location and the one downtown are standalone locations, and as I said, I totally prefer that. I like to have a server, sit down, and ask questions if I have them, etc. This location is always bustling, maybe a little too much, that it almost feels a little frenetic and anxiety inducing. The food is pretty basic bar food - burgers, salads, and a few others like fish and chips, and the like. The service has been good and the drinks are always nice and fresh and cold. That is where they shine, the beers and drinks. So I'd say if you visit any Blatt, definitely choose an in person one, and don't expect too much from the food, if you are not a fan of bar fare.
