One of the treatments that really stood out was a unique form of electrical therapy. I was lying on the chiropractic table while Dr. Lim stood on an electrical conductive pad and used her hands to gently massage and treat specific areas of my body. As she worked, I could feel a mild tingling sensation exactly where she was applying pressure. It was unlike any therapy I've experienced before, and it was both relaxing and incredibly effective. I'd never consider giving up trying to find help for her, but have to admit that options had gotten slim in the past few years, and then I happened upon Dr.Lim's site and noted that she approached her chiropractic practice with an appreciation for the relationship between a person's nervous system and pain which immediately resonated with me. We live in the desert so it took awhile to make an appointment happen, but once there, my daughter and I were both calmed by Dr. Lim's relaxed demeanor and her willingness to listen fully to both of our concerns. I can tell when my daughter is comfortable with someone by the clarity of her speech, as the accident caused her to struggle with aphasia, especially when she isn't comfortable with where she's at or who is in her space. With Dr. Lim, my daughter spoke cleary and was able to communicate her health challenges pretty much on her own. Throughout the appointment Dr. Lim was patient and checked on my daughter's comfort throughout the various therapies and chiropractic she applied. When done, my daughter let it be known that she hoped to see Dr. Lim again soon. Back in the desert later that same evening, my daughter happily approached me and demonstrated that she was able to turn her head 180 degrees in both directions - something she'd been unable to accomplish for at least a few years. A little pain , yet pleasantly feels good. Next was the electrodes on my back. Pulsating shock feels good and I secretly love it. Next he stretched my neck, cracked my neck and then my back. I feel like he does something to my hips. When I leave I feel like I walk better. Next I paid for the compression pants (normatec ). I can best describe it feels like blood pressure cuff on your entire legs. Apparently this helps with circulation. I enjoyed this and will do it again. Highly recommend. I only did 12 mins as this was my first time. Next I had my cupping. It did not hurt, but when the cups first attached you do feel a slight pressure, but it instantly goes away. I forgot how long they stayed on. Once removed I felt so good. I did get a slight hickey from 3 of the cups on my shoulder. It's been 4 days and it's almost all gone. I can see it, don't think anyone would even notice. Maybe they would think I had a real hickey on my shoulder. All and all heat visit. He answered all my dumb questions. I go back in 2 weeks Cupping & normtec boots are an extra charge. Well worth it, I'm my opinion.
