I get another excuse and at 6 pm no one shows up. So much wasted time on my part waiting on someone to show up to finish a part of the pool, and yet, no one shows up. According to the contract, the pool should be done 6-8 weeks from the time the submit the permit paperwork. That was in March. It is now July 21 and I'm still waiting for the pump system to be completely installed. I complained to the BBB, Yelp, and Google on line. The company only seemed to act on their mess and actual plastering of the pool two days later...coincidence? IDK Consider not using a family owned company when it comes to construction as there is too much drama. They never hesitate to ask for their payments on time. But will never return your calls, never call when they say they will, and most definitely don't show up when they say they will. The office seems to know nothing about anything other than billing and getting the contract signed. I believe they over book themselves and anyone who has a larger priced pool takes priority. How this company has stayed in business for 50 + years is beyond me. I feel my pool, my project, and my satisfaction is only based on when they can fit me in. Time for the law to take hold in a breach of contract suit. As I figure it, based on my hourly rate of $30 an hour, and they have wasted 120 hrs of my time, they owe me at least $3600 of wasted time. Since I can't place a value on a wasted summer, I'm guessing a good attorney can get me lost time on vacations and other time lost. Do NOY use this company, I don't care how many so called positive reviews they might have. You would think a family owned and operated business might care a bit more about customer satisfaction. The only positive is the pool design is a good looking design. That's it!

The tech that came out was not able to figure out the angle on the pipe that he was replacing and ended up using a putty which I agreed to. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. My reason for my review not being a five is that the quote was nearly fifty percent more than anticipated for a simple pvc pipe repair and o ring replacement. I tried to speak to the company and they were not willing to come any closer to their original quote. Beware of the price you are quoted as it may end up much higher than expected.

RUN! We got a new fiberglass pool installed and so DISAPPOINTED!!! Concrete decking is cracking…read moreall around, has chips, and bowing. I was told cracking concrete is normal but I am pretty sure it shouldn't be cracking immediately. They put the soil (finish) down on July 3rd right before the tropical storm dropped over 5" of rain and the concrete forms were still piled up in the backyard so that area didn't get cleared or topsoil. We still had a green pool that couldn't be enjoyed over the holiday. They won't dig before rain but they will through down fresh topsoil or whatever it was but not prepared for sod and rough grade that went straight to the pool. It was also before the masonry was even started much less completed. The masonry guys got to trudge through carrying the stones. What we ended up with was a mixture of concrete, sand, gravel and rock with footprints after things dried out. We had to use a tiller/cultivator and pickaxe to try to break up the ground. The mixture of concrete, sand, gravel, and rocks broke my tiller. They shouldn't put down soil until everybody is done so that all of it is cleared up! We signed the contract 3/5/2025 and we still haven't swam in the pool for 2 primary reasons. 1 they cleaned the filters but then they got more concrete in the pool so the filters already need to be cleaned to get the concrete out. 2nd the tinker toy handrail isn't going to help me or my sister in or out of the pool (white powder coated steel ended up being white plastic that bends pretty easy and isn't long enough to help). I don't know if my pool was damaged but when the little bulldozer slid into the side wall and they had difficulty getting it out, they said it was no big deal. It feels like to me they seem to invalidate any of my concerns, they just want the money. The decking mess is probably why they push to sell the cool decking to just cover up issues.

For the amount of money we spent (25k), we were left with a…read moremess in our backyard and no instructions on how to even begin to use our pool. The bottom has a crease in it. From what I understand, that is the #1 thing that will end up causing a tear in the vinyl- aside from an unforeseen object tearing it. There were omitted from the contract in order to "make the bid fit our budget for a partial inground/ above ground pool. We were led to believe our lower price was due to ordering a significantly smaller pool. When Brent left the pool in a mess with several mistakes, I asked him to return to complete the job. After a lot of angry defensiveness on the phone, Brent returned to "complete the pool" we paid for. Rather than being professional and completing the job, Brent started with again being confrontational. To begin with, he had omitted backfilling the dirt around our pool in the contract without mentioning or clearing such an important detail with us. That turned out to be a blessing since we were then informed we were not supposed to put the "Native Soil" back around the pool. Especially in the large muddy clumps he left it in. We have clay soil out here as much of Texas does. The engineer then explained clay expands and retracts with water/weather (makes sense). Brent put the pump in the wrong location and then moved it to where we preferred it (out of vision & under our patio awning, above the pool). Turns out the pump should always be level with the pool or below. Brent Dennis put it about two feet above simply to appease us without explaining it shouldn't be there. He then used PVC to lead it to the pool... the dirt blew off (supposed to be buried at least 12 inches) leaving us with exposed plumbing ... I could go on & on. But my post is acting wonky. You get the idea. Look around. Pay a couple thousand more & get a quality pool. If you're in the DFW/ Dallas area, do not use ALL AROUND POOLS w/ Brent Dennis. He yelled at us and threw fits that actually scared us. We are now looking at this mess in our backyard. We are so sad.

Luis came out the next day, seemed legit, and we agreed a few days later on the work to be done and the price. He said they were a few weeks out on the schedule, which was fine with me. Contacted Kingz again on 2/4, inquiring about the start date of the project, and received no response. Contacted Kingz again on 2/6, and was told the schedule had been pushed back, due to weather. Kingz contacted me on 2/16, with a couple of potential start dates, and I chose 2/26. Kingz sent over the Docusign contract link, signed by Luis on 2/17. I signed it on 2/19, and thought we were ready to roll on 2/26. Sent a text to Kingz on 2/25, asking if everything was ready to go the following day. No answer, so sent another text at 7:21am. The answer finally came at 10:40am, stating that Kingz was working on a commercial job, and "We're unable to get started on your project at this time." They did offer me $300 for compensation for wasting my time over the previous 7 weeks, so I guess there's that. I passed, as my time is certainly worth more than that, but found out in small claims court that someone's personal time has no monetary value in cases like this, breached contract or not. My advice, if the above sounds like a bad experience, is to not spend any time with these folks. If you do go down the road with them, and again, this is solely based on my real life experience, know that the contract you sign with them might not be worth what you think it is. Kingz breached that contract by not showing up on 2/26, ("The Term"), and also by terminating the agreement when they said they weren't going to start the project at that time, (Rights of Termination). Oh, well. It's time to find a contractor that I can trust.

I could not be more pleased with the work KINGZ Pool Services did on my pool coping and deck, and I…read morehighly recommend them! My pool originally had approximately 70% flagstone coping, while the remaining 30% had the existing concrete deck extending all the way to the edge of the pool. Over time, the concrete deck had moved and developed cracks, many of the grout lines between the flagstone coping had either cracked or was gone and the area where there was no coping had developed major cracks between the concrete cantilever and the tile line. Those cracks were allowing water to get behind the pool. KINGZ Pool Services recommended cutting back the concrete and installing Oklahoma flagstone coping around the remaining 30% of the pool and to regroup everything. I'll be honest -- I was scared to death to have someone cut into my existing pool deck! But it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. The transformation is incredible. They matched the new Oklahoma flagstone to the existing coping so well that, unless you knew there had originally been no coping in that area, you would never know it wasn't there from the beginning. They also expertly repaired the cracks in the existing concrete deck and paint-matched the repairs to the surrounding area. The result is incredibly seamless. They removed all of the old, deteriorated grout between the existing coping stones and along the tile line and re-grouted everything. They also properly cut back a line between the coping and deck so they could install mastic where it belongs. Previously, there was no mastic between the flagstone and the deck -- just grout that had worn away in many places. The entire job was completed in less than two days, and their attention to detail was outstanding. They were courteous, professional, and did an excellent job cleaning up when they were finished. They covered the pool during the work, and although there was understandably some dust left in the water, they actually got into the pool and removed the larger pieces that had fallen in. My filter and pool cleaner will take care of the remaining fine dust over the next couple of days. The quality of the workmanship, the attention to detail, the excellent color and stone matching, and the overall finished product exceeded my expectations. And they did it at a great price. If you need pool coping, deck repairs, grout or mastic work, or any of the other services they provide, I would absolutely recommend KINGZ Pool Services. I am extremely happy with the finished product and would use them again without hesitation!

Pickleball courts could be great is if the city or a private entity provides for maintenance. The nets need to be replaced with a good quality type. There are too many lights that are not working and makes play very hard at night and is a safety risk. This facility can very easily be a five-star rating if maintenance (city support) improves. Somebody needs to take action in order for this to happen.
