We contracted with River Mist Pools because even though they were higher, they were very nice folks with a stellar reputation. We could live with the fact that they took literally twice as long to build our pool than the timeline they presented to us because we know that this is construction during the summertime in Texas and things happen. However, at the end of the process, our beautiful pool was about tree inches too shallow (it's supposed to be 5 feet deep) and it was quite unlevel. I want to make clear that the very first time River Mist filled the pool, both my family and the River Mist guys recognized that the pool was not level. They immediately agreed to repair the pool and we all decided to do the repair the following spring to give the pool more time to settle. The repair was supposed to take two weeks but instead took five. They finished and re-filled the pool in May (again no issue there...I understand). But then River Mist began demanding their money. I offered to pay River Mist 5K of the remaining 10k but I wanted to hold the other 5k until I consulted with an attorney about my position in this matter (which I'm in the process of now). My feeling is that since I didn't get exactly what I contracted for why should I have to pay full price. . I've already paid 108K. Am I entitled to a discount on the remaining 10k? This is where the issue stands now. If I could go back in time, I would choose a different pool builder. Nice folks but...

So basically with this company if they don't do a good job and you are unhappy your screwed. Don't sign a contract with these people or you will be frustrated and stuck. I have been at the pool the last 3 weekends (4 Xs total) this Summer and it is truly 5 stars! The check in is super easy. I paid $5 each time (a discount for C.Hill) residents as well as your guest. They do take cash or card which is convenient. The line is never long, really non existent most of the time. Parking is a breeze especially if you get there for open swim which begins at 12 noon. The majority of the lounge chairs are shaded and you don't have to worry about anyone taking/moving your belongings as you enjoy the water. The lazy river is extremely clean and well kept and the floaties are in abundance and FREE! Everyone is respectful in the pool! At any given time there can be newborn babies to the seniors and every age in between so being courteous is just as important as having fun! The music is great too! They play EVERYTHING including Spanish songs on Cedar Hill Tunes. There is one lazy river, one slide which is so much fun and never a long line, as well as a larger pool that is wheelchair assessable too. It was in this pool that my BF taught me to swim this Summer so the Cedar Hill Lagoon will forever be memorable to me! They also have about 7 cabanas that you can rent out for your private event. The bathrooms have great air flow and are pretty well kept with no trash on the ground an I definitely appreciated the cleanliness. They also have showers too. The lifeguards are also professional and they appear to have fun too. There is food available if you get hungry. A CH police officer does make his/her round at the pool too so it definitely makes you feel safe an at ease. I hope the Lagoon continues to be a fun, clean, memorable place for my future summers!

I greenlighted and paid for every recommendation made by them via text. Was told we needed a new actuator, no explanations. Paid for it no questions asked. Received one text about a month ago saying to add water, which I did. Got a text today from them saying they will no longer service the pool because the water level was low the last 4 times they came by. If I knew what was wrong with the pool I wouldnt have hired royal blue to begin with. You would be better off looking elsewhere for pool service. Even the text firing me was so condescending. Not good business.
