It would require a book to provide all the details so I'll just try to sum it all up. It took over…read morea year to complete the pool build. Then it took another three months to find a leak their own installers created when they had to drill out a plug. The equipment pad and landing outside the cage were pitched toward the house and pool resulting in water flowing to the foundation and the cage door not opening properly. We had to fix the door issue and hire a separate company to fix the equipment pad pitch. It took 3 months for them to reimburse us. Finally, one year after bringing these issues to their attention we had them fixed and we were reimbursed for our expenses. Several months ago we had the controller go out, which was under warrantee. Penguin was going to charge us to come out and fix it. Needless to say we found another company to cover the warrantee work and it didn't cost us a cent.

We told them as it was painted that it was incorrect, but they kept going. Then they actually painted up our house walls, our light gray exterior walls, with the deck paint (circled in yellow in my photo)! Right after that the concrete deck started bubbling and had to be redone. They forced us to buy the correct color paint and pressurer wash because of their mistake in the first place. When it came time for the repaint two weeks ago, they told us that we also had to tape the job! We said no, that's your job! We already bought a $300 pressure washer to fix THEIR work. The day of the repainting, a well known storm was coming through and when I called to see what we should do, no one responded. 3 days later I contacted them and Gina said she didn't know when they could fit us in...to fix their mistake, mind you. I replied that I was going to report them for incomplete and shoddy work. Then Mike the husband called threatening me with lawyers and screamed the eff word at me before telling me I was "p!ssing him off" and to find someone else to fix his crappy work and hung up on me like a baby. AVOID AT ALL COST. It's not slander if it's true. Tell that to your lawyers! We will now hire a true professional to finish our deck, over 11k dollars later. Run! The yellow check is the color our deck was supposed to be painted. THEY SHOULD'VE PAID TO PURCHASE THE CORRECT PAINT COLOR. THEY SHOULD'VE PRESSURE CLEANED (THEY HAVE ONE THEY OWN). THEY SHOULD REPAINTED OUR HOME WALLS THAT WERE RUINED BY DECK PAINT. THEY NEVER SHOULD ASK THE CUSTOMER TO TAPE THEIR PRE WORK. THEY SHOULDN'T CURSE AND THREATEN CUSTOMERS. On the day of the appointment and on time, David and his "new hire" assistant arrived and quickly went to work with a myriad of tools and testing equipment. After drilling four small holes in the concrete and carefully listening, they found one leak and found the skimmer had a temporary fix from long ago, which was also leaking. With the leak found, within days Adrian arrived and made the repairs. And those repairs are solid. I went from putting in 100 gallons a day, due to the leak, to not having to put any water in. Imagine the energy savings, as we are on a well and have an R.O. system...which uses a lot of electricity to make the water. Great jobs guys! I have only one negative to report. When the pool light was removed during the inspection, the light bulb broke. Someone, from another company, came the next day to get the light bulb type and number...BUT I haven't seen them since. The pool light is still sitting on the pool deck. I highly recommend Red Rhino to repair pool leaks!
