I went back to the original link I made my purchase through & the Pond was still available to buy at the same price. I emailed the company inquiring why & received a very short reply that the mold was damaged & the item was no longer available . I felt confident there was an error in pricing that resulted in this cancellation since the historical price was around $1,300.00 - but accept that it was not the fault of Lonestar Rock Spas since this particular pond couldn't be located via direct search on their website. The owner of Lonestar reached out directly to me & apologized immediately for the confusion. I appreciated being treated like a valued customer despite my understandable disappointment in not getting a beautiful pond at an incredibly (unbelievably low) price. I do still recommend this company for their very unique products offered and hope to eventually purchase one of their beautiful ponds for my backyard.

The pool installation was sub contracted out to Campbells pool service and has had to be drained 4 times. It was not installed properly the first and second, third and fourth time. Bonnie and Clyde has yet to make this right. So now Summer's over and a ten and an eight year-old has not got to swim one time and had to look at their pool all summer long in despair. I assume if they ever get it fixed by the end of summertime, conveniently my family will have to pay to winterize the pool. If you have an option to go somewhere else, I'll probably certainly would and if they make this right, I will change the review, but until then it stays.

Post installation and pool school, there is no remote turn on. This was discussed with the owner and he notes that it was not in the order form and we did not read the contract closely enough. Alright? But again, we worked with a sales person and we would not know how to look for that within the sales document. Now a year later, we cannot get in the hot tub unless someone sleeps at the lake house over night and turns it on at 9 am since we cannot turn it on remotely. So, beware of the salesman. Also, at the time of purchase it was 2024, why sell anything without Bluetooth? Also we had to have two pool schools because the first person who arrived did not how to even use our salt hot tub.

DO NOT BUY POOL HEATER FROM LESLIE'S!!!…read more I really wish there was something lower than this. I could give them. Five years ago, we spent $4000 on a heat pump and a warranty. After one year, it began leaking. When I called Leslie's, I was told "we don't work on them" and to call an HVAC company. Not one word about warranties or coverages or anything else... Just "we don't work on them". Over the past three years we have had three HVAC companies and two pool companies come out and tell us they cant work on them because they can't get parts. Somebody finally told us that Leslie owns Jacuzzi pool equipment. When I called Leslie's, they admitted they did own them and that this unit was under manufacturers warranty, and I would have to talk to the manufacture. The lack of help was blamed on prior management. The manufacturer tells me they will only cover parts and I'm responsible for the service call and all labor. Just a warning. D9 not buy any pool heaters or equipment from Leslie's pool.

Had his wife Brandi Clair tell us" only the impatient ones are giving us a bad review, and we are a small pool company". When deck was being poured (March 2021) Darrel actually told us we owned him an additional 400 hundred dollars due to the extra cement. Funny that was the design we agreed on in May 2020. Again we paid the cement guys directly. Then he pulled some crap ordering the plaster sub contractors to leave because we where not going to pay him until he completed the job. So we paid him and he disappeared again without completing the mastic sealant around coupling. So we waited another four weeks and was told to "Hold our horses". Going on seven weeks with no contractor out here to mastic. No worries we had to finish that too! Google search how long it takes to build a pool whether here in Texas or any other state. After design time 6- 14 weeks on the outside! So please don't lie and tell us you can't get contractors to show because it's busy, Covid, small pool company, snowmageddon, or supplies being low. Neither one of you are a professional, hard working or honest pool contractors. You're Gougers. You tarnish the reputation of good pool contractors, church friends and family. All you had to do was finish timely, be professional responsible courteous contractors and up hold your end of the contract without excuses.

I had hoped to wait until after everything was finished to post this review but then I realized…read morethat I might be able to help someone else avoid this contractor by posting my review now. I'll update it if anything changes. I've never been so frustrated with a contractor. Darrell stood in our backyard more than 1 year ago and agreed on a design and a price. We were told at the time that it will take 3-6 months because of backlog. It took 3 months for Darrell to finally get the plans submitted for a permit. and another 2 months for us to finally get a hole started in our backyard. Keep in mind, all the while, we are texting and calling trying to get a status update. If we don't get ghosted by Darrell he gives vague non-answers like "your on the schedule". When considering Burleson Custom Pools and Darrell James keep in mind that you will be frustrated, and it will take a LOT longer than he tells you. Also, Darrell is just a general contractor - he doesn't employee anyone who does the actual work. His subcontractors will tell you exactly what it's like working for Darrell - lots of last minute calls and requests. As of today, more than 12 months later, we continue to wait for the electrician to come and finish his work, then we'll be waiting for the plaster. Who knows what will happen when the equipment is finally turned on and we've lost all hope that Darrell will actually follow through and do the last punch-list items like regrading the areas torn up with the equipment.

I will say that he is knowledgable about pool maintenance and pool equipment. What he doesn't seem…read moreto appreciate is that homeowners have budgets and that we need some idea of the costs associated with home maintenance costs; including maintaining a pool. He thinks that he should not be questioned about his billing practices and believes that you should pay whatever number he comes up with without question. Simply telling a customer that chemical prices fluctuate, and pay whatever I say, is untenable. I also didn't appreciate him trying to goad me into a discussion about politics by saying more than once: "the price of chemicals have gone up since Biden became President." Just tell me how much it will cost to clear my pool, I'm not interested in your political views! He will never tell you how much you can expect to pay per month, only give you some a wide "possible" price range. Also, his utter arrogance was also a turn off. When I said he was too expensive or that questioned the basis for his exorbitant billing practices, he arrogantly told me that: "You want the best services for the cheapest price. And it just doesn't exist. You will always get what you pay for." In other words, if I don't use him and pay his unsubstantiated costs, I will not find other quality pool maintenance service providers. Finally, I offered to pay for July ($500!!!!), but not after, and then he immediately dropped me as a customer and charged me $274 for 1 visit; and my pool still had dirt on the bottom of it. Be careful in dealing with him, his knowledge of pools and pool equipment will distract you from his unqualified and unsubstantiated billing practices. I know he'll get on here an attack everything I've said, further showing his arrogance and inability to listen to customer concerns. Fortunately, I've kept all of the text messages between us as proof of what I've said.
