They provided guidance, creativity, and follow-up every step of the way. Their computer-generated kitchen plans and visual images were very helpful in assuring us that the design they described is what we wanted and in the price range we were looking for. Adrian was our assigned on-site contractor. He was phenomenal to work with. His knowledge, skill, reliability, and "easy-to-work-with" personality made the process from demo to project signoff a smooth and stress-free experience. Adrian and Vered never let any unforeseen or unexpected situation alter or delay project progress. They worked together to offer solutions and resolution in a timely manner. Adrian and one or two other helpers did most of the work themselves, so we were never waiting on subcontractors. The project started on time and finished on schedule. We could not have been more pleased with the results. We are very happy to have selected Lux Design Builds and highly recommend them for your upcoming remodel.

The remodel replaced the floor with vinyl tile, replaced the tub surround tiles with vinyl sheets and replaced the vanity, counter mirror, tub, lights and all fixtures. The installer did a great job, was very courteous and did the job with minimal disruption.

TASK: Remove existing backsplash and countertop and install a new backsplash and countertop…read more PROBLEM 1: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE COUNTERTOPS. Nothing was covered. All contents of the drawers were contaminated by demolition materials. In addition, during the demolition, the underlayment of the countertops was damaged. As stated in the contract, this was not to be addressed by Granite and Marble Specialists (GMS). Once the island countertop was removed, you could see that a heavy layer of glue remained on the underlay. The installers said that that was not their responsibility. They installed the countertop over the uneven underlayment of the residual glue. This meant that there were up to 1/2 inch gaps between the counter and the underlayment, stretching a span of 108.5 inches. Over time, this will lead to instability and breakage of the stone. The installers forged ahead and installed the new countertop independent of the gaps. The installers were adamant that they had installed the island countertop to level. RESULT: We had to remove the new countertop and have the surface sanded to level before having them reinstall the countertop. PROBLEM 2: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE BLACKSPLASH AFTER DEMOLITION. This meant that it was the homeowner's responsibility to install drywall and to make sure that the backsplash was level. The backsplash was 1.5 inches unlevel from one end of the backsplash to the other. Thus, in addition to the provision of drywall because the existing drywall was damaged during demolition, we had to shim the drywall to ensure the backsplash was level for the backsplash installation. RESULT: We had to go buy wood, cut it to the specific dimensions and install the new underlayment for the backsplash. IN SUM: GMS provided what the contract stated, an installed countertop and backsplash. It was not stated in the contract that it be level or that it be level to the degree that it was level prior to the new installation. The installers showed it to be level because the countertop was 108.5 inches long X 46 inches wide X 3cm deep. So, BEWARE. If this is the type of installation you are looking for, this is the organization for you.

The team worked efficiently, skillfully, and ahead of schedule! It seems like Eagle Construction can build anything you ask them to. Doru is someone I can trust. He stayed in close communication throughout the entire process, always taking the time to answer our questions. As someone who pays close attention to detail, I especially appreciated his precision and craftsmanship. I am so glad we went with him, and his pricing was fair. What stood out most was his honesty and thorough approach. We had reached out to several contractors for quotes, but Doru was the only one who took the time to measure our space accurately and fully understand what we wanted. He never pressured us into additional work and instead offered thoughtful guidance and expert recommendations. Despite working quickly, the final result was of quality and what we envisioned. I would absolutely hire Eagle Remodel again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, detail-oriented work, and people you can trust.

In short, we have nothing but good things to say about Doru and this company and MOST HIGHLY RECOMMEND you consider them for your next flooring job.

Brenda and her crew were amazing! I needed a move-out cleaning on a 2800 sf home to get our deposit…read moreback. The house had hard water and it had been really hard to keep up with the buildup around the kitchen and bath fixtures, and especially the glass shower surround. The house also (for some odd reason) had a gas range with NO hood for grease, steam or other vapors and the kitchen had a lot of grease that had aerosolized over the three years we'd lived there (plus the prior - um - FOREVER that others had lived and cooked there with no hood!!!), so the walls needed wiping, the pendant lights were greasy, the floors were greasy... To make the housecleaner's nightmare complete, we had a Great Dane. If you know Danes, you know they are notorious for drooling and when they shake their head it goes flying everywhere. Even if you love Danes, cleaning up after them is not always fun. And once that drool dries, it takes a bit of elbow grease to get it off the walls, doors, baseboards, and sometimes ceiling without damaging the paint. It was a big job. Brenda and her crew were up to the task. And for a very affordable price, I might add. Not only were they flexible (I think we changed the date/time of the cleaning twice), but they were very reliable, trustworthy, independent, communicative, and did a sparkling clean job! Our landlord was impressed. They said they wouldn't even need to bring other providers in before they listed the house for sale. That was impressive. I wish I'd taken before and after pics because they would tell the whole story. Hire these guys - you won't regret it. She also knows a very affordable carpet cleaner with whom she can coordinate, should you need that. His prices were also very good, though we didn't use him since we'd already arranged for carpets to be done prior to meeting Brenda.
