Dear San Franciscan,
It is my first trip to Paris, early Dec 2017 and a non high season week. I got a deal from Hotwire and I grabbed it. I choose this hotel since I don't know any better where I will be staying but all I know, I want to be near Eiffel tower for short walking distance purposes.
It was after 10 hrs non stop flight, and an RER Journey from CDG to the hotel. A success! Not as terrified as I thought, for being first time solo traveling to Europe myself.
I arrived roughly noon, the room was ready, I can check in a lil early.
Mind you, since this is a deal I got from Hotwire, I asked how much to get upgrade to room with Eiffel Tower view. Imo, unless you really need the view for some odd reason and money to burn, I'd rather spend the money enjoying fancy lunch and dinner.
I loved the bed, it is a single bed of course.
Water pressure - shower- amazing, appreciate the cleanliness, shampoo, shower gel etc are wonderful.
Room Temperature is perfect, and it is not a busy hotel, maybe because it is off season. But overall I have a wonderful experience.
There's an Italian restaurant across the street, a Pattiserie (bakery), Argentinian Restaurant and a Crepes restaurant, in the alley alone.
About 5 mins walk to Le Tour Maubourg exit ( I want less walking so I took this exit to reach to hotel) , and a few more to Invalides ... to RER station. (if you want to do more walking)
Finally, if you don't feel like taking train back to CDG, let your receptionist know that you'd like a shuttle service. Make arrangement 24 hr in advance.
It's price 28 Euro for single person, but lesser if you travel with more people.
This is a cheaper option than Uber (40 Euro- in my time, Dec 2017) or Taxi - a flat 60 Euro.
Bonus: there are 2 city supermarket close by, like 5 mins walk, and a Starbucks (if you collect the mug).
They let guest borrow umbrella. Yay!
I emailed them to ask general question, and they are very responsive. Thank you very much! I could stay anywhere in the entire Paris, and I came to this place and loved it.
I highly recommend you to stay here. and yes, I'd return back here next time.
Thank you! read more
