I had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Relais Bosque last week. Pros: 1. Great location - very nice neighborhood, close to metro and many stores and restaurants, walking distance to many places (including the Eiffel Tower), felt safe. 2. Friendly staff - very friendly and always willing to help. 3. Air conditioning in rooms worked well! Very nice during the hot summer months. 4. Black out shades in room. 5. Complimentary snacks in afternoon (candies, nuts, juice, etc...) Cons: 1. Breakfast was only okay - it was included with our room, but I don't think it would be worth it otherwise. That said, the pastries were delivered fresh each morning. :) Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel and I'd definitely consider staying again on my next trip to Paris! read more

This hidden gem of a hotel in the heart of Paris near the Eiffel Tower is five star in my book. The staff was very welcoming, we were able to check in early (2 pm) and our two rooms were lovely. And air conditioned --it was 95 degrees in Paris in June! The breakfast was well worth having and snacks and juices are available during the day. The staff helped us book taxis and outings and the daily maid service was outstanding. For the price, I don't see how you could do better! It is also within walking distance of many restaurants, shopping, monuments, etc. A great experience in a beautiful city! read more

A friend of mine and I recently spent a lovely week at the Hotel Relais Bosquet. Located on a quiet side street, we were just steps away from the Ecole Militaire metro, restaurants, shops, and the famous Rue Cler. Our 6th floor room (64) offered an Eiffel Tower view and plenty of space for two ladies traveling together. We appreciated the separate 'potty room' and the automatic darkening shades. Leading up to our stay, I had been corresponding with Christian via email. He was always very responsive and helpful. It was a pleasure to meet him in person, as well as the rest of the staff, who were never too busy to answer a question or engage in a little small talk. On our second day, we had a chance sighting of Rick Steves on the fourth floor. It turns out he is a frequent guest! If you are looking for a great hotel in the 7th, look no further! read more

A lovely hotel in a fabulous area of Paris. The room was very clean and comfortable. I loved the nice deep tub in our room. Staff was mostly very friendly and helpful. We were close enough to all of the major attractions to walk and enjoyed being in a neighborhood with so much going on ---great restaurants, cafes, shops and other amenities within a blocks or two. Breakfast was more than adequate and I much appreciated the Crème Coffee and afternoon treats. read more

Hotel Relais Bosquet is an amazing choice if you're looking for something clean, cozy, and in an awesome location for a great value. I love that it is just down the street from an expansive grocery store and Rue Cler where restaurants and open air markets are plentiful. The location in the 7th arrondissement is within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and very easy to get to the Metro. My room was lovely and very comfortable with enough space. I always find booking a hotel to be the hardest park of planning a trip because you just never know what you're going to get. I went off reviews and my gut and booked at Hotel Relais Bosquet for a vacation for my mom and I. I am so glad I did! We arrived to the hotel very early in the day for a 3 day stay and didn't expect our room to be ready that early. The front desk staff was so kind and accommodating and directed us towards the lobby bathroom if we wanted to freshen up and then told us they can store our luggage for us. They were also incredibly kind in answering questions for us, giving recommendations, and also making sure we had enough water! The room itself was on the smaller side, but the room and bathroom were both very organized and clean. Absolutely no complaints! Now on to the location! It really depends what you are coming to Paris for, but if you want to be a tourist (like we did), the location is absolutely superb. The Eiffel Tower is a short walk away and it's honestly such an easy walk. The area is filled with tons of restaurants and souvenir shops so it finding a place to eat and also gifts to take home is super easy. It;s also very convenient because a lot of the tour buses have their first and last pick up/drop off location near the Eiffel Tower. This made it very easy to hop on the bus in the morning and also end up right by the hotel in the evening. If I were to go to Paris again for touristy purposes, I would stay here again without a doubt. read more

One of my favorite hotels in Paris . Located near the Rue Cler neighborhood . It is within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. It has several grocery stores as well as a pedestrian farmers market, multiple restaurants, banks, bakeries as well as clothing stores. The hotel staff are excellent. They have helped me figure out an itinerary for the day. The hotel has a breakfast buffet which is an extra, but free if you book through Facebook. Free wifi, clean spacious room and a great view of the Eiffel Tower if you ask. read more

Location- okay, this is hard because Paris is HUGE! It totally depends on where you want to stay. I wished we would have stayed a little bit northeast from here since many of the sights we wanted to hit were east and north of this location. That being said, the neighborhood was quiet and had many restaurants and amenities and was easy to get to the subway, the Eiffel Tower, Rue de Cler, and Musée Rodin. It 100% depends on what you are in Paris to see. Price- it was €240 a night without breakfast. I opted out for breakfast and hey! A bagel place and bakery were next door. It's €16 a person for breakfast and I knew we could get it cheaper on the go. Amenities- CLEAN, new, modern. Not big, but very comfortable. I had to request two twin beds. They were new (I always check for bed bugs), and very comfortable. The AC worked like a dream, bathroom was modern and had enough room for us. This was our favorite hotel of our trip. WiFi was a dramatic improvement from Florence. We used it to book tickets, check in for flights, and stay connected. The staff was friendly and helped us call cabs for the airport. Overall, I would highly recommend if you enjoy this neighborhood and want something in a quiet part of Paris. :) read more

Stayed here for a short New Year's Eve trip. Very fluent english front desk staff were a great help and were always friendly and courteous. Just a block or so away from Ecole Militaire Metro and Bus stations, literally steps away from restaurants and shops and could see the top of the Eiffel Tower from my window. Rooms were a bit in the small side as is usual for most European hotels I've encountered. Had one small complaint and the hotel contacted me immediately to resolve. For the first time tourist, Relais Bosquet is a boutique hotel that is centrally located to attractions and makes it easy to hop on a bus or train to most of the main destinations so that can't be beat. Pros: Pleasant staff and great location within walking distance is the Effifel Tower, Rue Cler, grocery stores, passteries, and restaurants. Bed was two twins combined, but thick and comfortable, and crisps linens. Scented toiletries were lovely and enjoyable to use. Washroom looks recently renovated and had a full size tub for baths. Cons: It is an older building, and the rooms don't have much walking space. It's not recommended for someone that wants to spend time chilling in your room. Room with a view was indicated at booking, but it just faced the courtyard. During the 4 nights, I never had a truly "hot" shower - it was lukeroom at best and would get colder when others in the building was doing the same. For this reason, I would rather stay at a newer hotel with improved engineering. read more

I stayed here for two nights with a friend during our spring break trip to Paris. We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to the Tour Eiffel. The room was very neat and clean when we arrived. They even gave us complimentary breakfast during our stay because the elevators were broken and our room was on the 3rd floor. The eggs were well seasoned and my favorite part about their breakfast. The only reason I'm giving this hotel 4 stars is because of some of the hotel staff. Some staff were very helpful but some were a bit rude possibly because of our younger age than most of the guests staying there? We had just arrived from a flight from Detroit and a couple right before us asked them if they could come back at noon to see if their room was ready and they said yes. I know this is never a guarantee but we asked about a possible early check as well; however, they told us that they didn't offer that and we had to come back in 7 hours for the normal check in time. We ended up walking around the city for 4 hours and came back at around 1 and a different person was at the desk and said our room was ready for us. Also this hotel also requires you to leave your hotel key with the receptionist when you leave which makes sense to prevent lost key cards but when we returned from dinner the receptionist said that he only spoke French and wouldn't give us the card back until we spoke our needs in french (luckily I know some of the language). Other than that the stay was nice, in a great location, a great price for the location ($200/night) and you will probably receive better service if you aren't college aged. read more

Just got back from a 4 day stay at this beautiful hotel. I will sum it up with some pros and cons: Pros: - location! The location of this hotel could not be better. Within walking distance to pretty much all monuments/attractions and many museums. Also a very short walk from a nice little street full of shops and restaurants, each one better than the next. - the hotel is very beautiful, I loved the aesthetic. - although we did not partake, the breakfast(at a charge) looked lovely. - showers. The shower pressure was nice and strong and the water stayed warm. - beds. Super comfortable!!!! - snacks. The hotel has a little snack buffet open during the afternoons free of charge. Cons: - security. In an effort to keep track of all comings and goings in and out of the hotel, the staff request that you leave your room key at the desk every time you leave and pick it up from them upon return. While I appreciate the monitoring, this security measure is a bit ironic since any staff can have access to the room. On one occasion we were leaving the hotel and there were no staff at the desk so we took our key out. We were reprimanded upon return and told it was impossible that nobody was at the desk. This was uncomfortable. - showers. The floor of the shower is flush with the rest of the floor, and the curtain is very short. So when showering the water goes all over the bathroom, making the floor very slippery. It could be dangerous. - air conditioning. We were in Paris during a very hot week. The hotel maxes out the air conditioning in the room at 66 degrees farenheit. It cannot get cooler than that. This was a big disappointment for me. At night I'd be so overheated that I could not sleep. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, but not during the summer. The air conditioning is a personal dealbreaker for me. We stayed at Hotel Relais Bosquet for the second time last week and it was just as good as we remembered. It's nice that they offer a returning guest discount, which we were happy to take advantage of. The reception desk staff speaks English, a welcome relief to weary travelers after navigating their way from the airport and struggling with French. We were in room 51, with a very nice marble bathroom and walk-in shower. This room doesn't have a view of the Eiffel Tower, but that was OK with us. The location of the hotel is great for easy access to metro and bus lines, and being just around the corner from the fabulous Rue Cler, you are only a short distance from a great lunch or dinner. We will be back at this hotel again on our next visit to Paris. read more

We stayed in the hotel for 9 days and everyone was extremely pleasant and made us feel at HOME. The rooms were always kept clean, buffet snack for weary travelers available after 11 AM. Kudos to Christian, Joanna, Fiona, Julia etc. Location was a six - minute walk to the Eiffel, 2- minute walk to the Metro and Bus 69 (scenic route). Rue Cler was a minute away!!! read more

We chose this hotel because of the awesome deal on facebook. Our expectations were met and then some. It was an Americanized hotel, which was great that we weren't on top of each other in the room. The shower is full sized...totally awesome. They had free WIFI. How can you pass it up with that? The breakfast in the morning was great. Gave us a great taste of what was to come when we went out there. The bus boy that was there worked his butt off and was so friendly. I was very satisfied with our stay there and would recommend it to anyone. It is walking distance from the Eiffel Tower, Rue Cler, as well as walking to all of the other big places (Louvre, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe). It is a perfect location, along with a great hotel. Hotel Relais Bosquet is a pleasant, comfortable boutique hotel conveniently located in the Eiffel Tower area. Because I was travelling with a friend, we didn't need anything chic or romantic -- just a comfortable space to cool our heels when we weren't out sightseeing. We opted for the "superior" room, and it was spacious enough that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. It had a large, modern bathroom and free wifi. The staff spoke English and was always quite helpful. The hotel is a short walk to the Metro, to Musee Rodin, Napoleon's Tomb, and great views of the Eiffel Tower. Especially noteworthy is that the hotel is one block from the vibrant Rue Cler, a three block area full of outdoor cafes, bars, chocolatiers, and even small convenience stores and grocery stores. The only drawback for the location is that you have to change trains twice when coming from the airport. We opted for the hotel's shuttle from CDG, which was a little pricey but it seemed preferable to the Metro after an overseas flight. I would stay here again. Four stars for the combination of comfort and location. read more

When I called hotel.com bc I booked the reservation minutes before. They called hotel and hotel refused to refund money. I wouldn't book with them. This hotel is perfect for a weekend gettaway in Paris. Very close proximity to the Eiffel Tower. I walked around to all major tourist attractions. There is a cafe just around the corner. The room itself was very clean. Not much of a view from the side that I had, it was in the back facing another building. I wouldn't recommend paying extra for breakfast, you'll be better off grabbing a bite to eat down the street. Would I stay here again? For the location, yes! Front staff were very nice as well and spoke English. They lent us an umbrella because it started down pouring, which was very nice of them. read more

We had a wonderful stay and I only want to add a new review because the most recent one, with which I fully agree, is 14 months old. Breakfast is no roll and butter, but a full, American style, buffet with eggs, the required baguettes and crosants and no less than six different French cheeses. Lord I do love cheese! People are wonderful. Room spacious by French standards. Within 100 yards are breads, cheeses, wines, beers,, outdoor markets. Metro stop two blocks, walk to Rodin Museum, Eiffel Tower, ark de Triumph, Bateau Mouche , any number of restaurants and cafes. Just an incredible location. We'll certainly look for a vacancy on our next excursion to Paris. read more

We stayed her for the three nights we were in Paris. It's in the 7th district, perfectly located. The Rue du Champ de Mars and Rue de Cler are very close, where we found many wonderful shops and restaurants, along with a grocery store just a few doors down. The Metro is also and we were able to travel all around Paris without an excessive amount of walking. The Ecole Militaire is a beautiful, grand building only a couple blocks away. The Esplande des Invalides park, Notre-Dame de Paris, the Seine River, the Musee d'Orsay and the Eiffel Tower are all within walking distance. The hotel is situated in a clean, quiet neighborhood. It was nice to wake up early and see the sidewalks being pressure washed clean. The rooms are modern, and clean with all the necessary amenities. The room are small as many in Paris, but not cramped. I found the bed comfortable with nice crisp linens. We didn't require much assistance other than check-in and check-out, but the Staff we did come in contact with was friendly, professional and helpful. The cost per night was reasonable for all that the hotel has to offer. I would gladly stay here again on my next trip to Paris. With all the different places we ate at in Paris, by far, my favorite meal was the one we collected from all the little shops on the Rue du Champ de Mars and took back to the hotel. The variety of fresh cheeses from the fromagerie, the salami and ham from the butcher, the fresh baguettes from the bakery, the water and wine from the grocery, and don't forget the tiny, white strawberries that tasted like candy from the open farmer's market. Definitely one of meal favorite lifetime meals. I had fun with you this day. read more

Great location in the 7th arondissement! Close to Run Cler, plenty of really great restaurants nearby (see my reviews for Mariette, Le Varangue and L'auberge Bressane), nearby metro stop (ecoile militaire) and a short walk to the Eiffel tower (which is handy when you want to watch it light up at night or when you have to line up early in the morning to buy tickets because they were closed and on strike on the day of your reserved ticket). Booked via Facebook and get their discounted rate. I booked a superior with an extra bed and it came with breakfast. Don't expect a view from your room but do expect a comfortable bed and clean room. Breakfast was adequate to help you power through your sightseeing. Choices were sausage, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, cereal, assorted cheese and meats and delicious breads. Front desk personnel were helpful (dinner reservations to booking a transfer) and polite. They are also prompt with email responses to inquiries (I emailed them about a dozen times since my flight information kept changing)! I would stay here again. read more

I just returned from Paris where I have stayed at hotel Relais Bosquet and I am deeply impressed. The staff couldn't have been more accomodating and helpful and the location is just perfect. My room was very comfortable, cosy and particularly clean. I got plenty of valuable informations about the neighborhoud as to restaurants, cafes and shops rue Cler which is just a typcial and vibrant walking street of Paris. This hotel is definitely a good value for money and I will recommend it to anyone who wants to have a great stay in Paris. Because our flight came in early we arrived at the hotel considerably before the 3:00 PM check in time. After waiting over 4 hours we were finally given our room at 1:30 PM. Given that we had stayed at the hotel twice before we felt that some adjustment to the room cleaning order could have been made to accommodate us earlier. We were pleased by the service of most staff particularly Christian and Remi, After staying 3 nights we requested a 1 hour late check out to 12 noon. This was initially completely refused by a woman at the desk who identified herself as the manager. After much insistence on my part she finally acceded to give us a half hour extension before finally agreeing to the 1 hour that we requested. We felt she was absolutely unreasonable especially considering that in the reverse situation we had to wait 4 hours until "people left our room." To add insult to injury despite our supposedly getting a returning guest discount, the cost of our room was 400 Euros for 2 of the 3 nights that we stayed. The rooms are pretty nice but certainly not luxurious and not worth the price. We will never stay at this hotel again. read more

Cheap looking hotel located on a side street 8-9 blocks from Eiffel Tower. I booked this hotel thinking the location was much closer to the Eiffel Tower. My mom has trouble walking long distances thanks to recent knee surgery (and old age) and taxi drivers did not want to take us to and from the Eiffel Tower area because the distance wasn't far enough in their opinion. I explained my moms problem to the hotel reception and hotel manager..who laughed and suggested my mom wear gym shoes and just walk!! REALLY?? Not sure how our situation was amusing to hotel management. All I wanted was assistance securing car service or taxis. Management suggested I find another hotel. Which I did..I booked at the Pullman Hotel, 3 blocks from Eiffel, our room has a spectacular view of Eiffel and taxis are waiting outside of the hotel. What an upgrade!!! Relais Bosquet charged me $300 Euro for one night in the back of the hotel -no view. Pullman charges $400 Euro..brand new gorgeous hotel with spectacular customer service, in a much cleaner area of Paris. You do the math! read more

What an excellent place to stay. The front desk people are helpful and speak English very well. My room was spacious according to European accommodations. It even came with a view of the Effiel tower. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate with cereal, yogurt, breads, fruit, meat and cheeses all served on china. And, right next door is an excellent patisserie. The Tower and tour buses were all within walking distance and yet you are staying in a quiet neighborhood street atmosphere. I was recommended to stay here by a friend and now I recommend that you stay here as well. read more
