I been living here since two years , manger bill is doing his best to satisfy every resident but you can't make everyone happy specially on parking issue one bedroom he can't give you 5 parking permits. Maintenance are always on time when there is a problem. My old apartment where I use to live Maintenance can take two week to respond but not in Lerner bill is excellent when is come to his job.

I have been living at this complex for over a year. This community is definitely NOT RECOMMENDED, especially for the price I was paying, at $1400 for a one bedroom. The physical apartment itself is average, but right when I moved in there were heating problems that took 3 weeks to resolve, and to give them credit, the maintenance team is responsive, and I was given a portable room heater during that period. However this doesn't excuse the fact that the apartment was not thoroughly tested before being handed to me. A significant negative about this complex, is the people (the residents). Loud and inconsiderate (crying babies at terrible hours who don't get looked after, people allowing their dogs to keep barking to no end, extremely loud karaoke music, loud thumping music, etc.), children playing around unattended in the middle of the roads, trash, shopping carts from the Fresh World across from the complex being transported over to the apartment and being left there on the lawns/common areas. Security is also very questionable. Two of my Amazon deliveries have been stolen/gone missing, and the leasing office said they cannot do much about it (no video camera monitoring in the stairwell areas) and that I could ship items to them at the leasing office instead of to my apartment. It is ridiculous I have to worry about such things in such a pricey apartment. The coded keypad entry to my building has been non-functional for at least five months, and I have seen maintenance people go in and out of the building several times, so I am sure they are aware of the issue. Other annoyances include: A mandatory $10 trash service fee on top of the rent (for a valet service that you have no choice to opt-out of), a convenience fee if you pay your rent electronically, which is higher if you pay with a credit/debit card as opposed to an e-check, regular intrusions into your apartment for pest control, regular spamming of business flyers placed on cars and door gaps, and limited parking spaces at a reasonable distance from my apartment after around 6 PM. If you come home late in your car, more than likely you have to park in a remote area of the complex and walk quite a bit till your apartment. Also, as I found out while signing my move-in form attached as a disclaimer, these apartments were apparently built before 1978 and contain lead paint. At the time I was told there is nothing to worry about because it gets tested regularly to be in compliance, but in my 1+ year I have never been notified of any lead inspection taking place. This point maybe important to you if you have little kids you plan to bring with you. The amenities are not that impressive. The tennis court is in terrible shape (there wasn't even a proper net the last time I checked), the basketball courts have been removed, and the gym contains only 6 basic cardio machines (3 treadmills, 1 stationary bike, 2 ellipticals), and nothing in terms weights. In other words, do NOT believe the pictures you see online touting the amenities of this complex. The only plus point of this apartment is that it is close to the VRE (a 10 minute walk) and Metro (a 10-12 minute drive depending on traffic) and shopping areas, however I STRONGLY recommend you find a shared house or look in a better area because this apartment is definitely not worth it for the price.

They don't fix anything and it takes me writing a review to see if learner management replies to me

Not the newest, but definitely not the worst…read more The apartment complex is in a prime location. Across the street is the Springfield Mall which has many dining options. Around the corner is another shopping plaza, Home Depot, Best Buy, Old Navy and around the other corner is Michael's etc. Amenities- unfortunately, have not been able to experience any amenities even though the state is opening. The gym is appointment only, during office hours and the pool is closed. Technically this community is gated access, but reality is people will cut you off to use your access to get in, people will tailgate entry, or drive in through the outbound lanes and without security there is no way to prevent it without additional costs. Either way, the "gated access" only gives the illusion of security. Overall, it is a great community and have not had any experience with any criminal activities. The community is relatively clean; however, when people check their mail, they discard it on the ground, or when they clean out their cars, they throw trash on the ground. it would be nice if a trash receptacle would be placed near the mail boxes to prevent this. I do not speak for the community, maybe it is just in my area. Trash is picked up at your front door, the only issues I have seen is when people overflow their bags or it is punctured and leaks.. it all just stays on the floor which attracts bugs/flies etc. until its either rinsed, cleaned up, or eaten by the animals. This happens occasionally, but not an everyday occurrence. The apartment's noise barrier is rather good... not many issues with the neighbors to the sides... however, occasionally you hear feet pounding from upstairs. Overall, people seem to be generally aware, and it has not become an issue. To date the few work orders I have had, were fixed within 48 hours at the longest. The office has been responsive and helpful and to date have not had any issues with the management team; actually they have been quite helpful and reactive. Overall. the community shows its age but not to the extent of overlooking this place. As the apartments get updated/modernized, it really is not a bad place to call home.

I lived at Readiness Apartments in Springfield for five years, and unfortunately, my experience was…read morevery disappointing. Throughout most of my time there, I dealt with a serious mouse infestation. It became so embarrassing that I avoided inviting friends and family over because I was worried they would see mice in my apartment. I reported the problem to the management multiple times, hoping they would take effective action. While they responded occasionally, the issue was never properly resolved. I even spoke with my next-door neighbor, and they told me they were experiencing the same problem but felt they had no other choice but to live with it. I have videos showing the mice inside my apartment, documenting the ongoing infestation. These were taken during my time living there and reflect the conditions I repeatedly reported to management. No resident should have to live with an ongoing rodent infestation for years. I expected management to take the issue seriously and provide a lasting solution, but that did not happen. I hope management improves its response to maintenance and pest control so future residents don't have to go through the same experience.

Lots of places in Alexandria/Linconia have major pest problems and just bad management in general. Sullivan place does not have any pest problems and for the most part the staff is really friendly. The amenities are great with a big pool, a nice gym, and once it's renovated a basketball court too. Maintenance is always quick with their requests. Still yet to fix my dryer tho There are restaurants walking distance. I should mention the initial move in process is VERY STRESSFUL and it is VERY HARD TO CONTACT anyone, like legit you always go to a bot. My advice: call a UDR representative. If not, you'll have to be here in person. To be fair I feel like it can be stressful with any new apartment move in so all in all I would give sullivan place 5/5.

I do not recommend this property if you are looking for a luxury style community. The property is marketed as such, however the age and wear and tear on this property is very apparent. It works, but I recommend considering similarly priced competitors even if they are slightly more. Read the reviews And make the decision that's best for you and your family, but please consider the review history of this property. It is reflective of the true experience. It works, however they do not provide a living experience remotely close to other luxury's properties in the area. Location is great, and if you can manage to find a reasonably priced unit, go for it. Just understand this is not a luxury property. It's fairly safe and they've made a few recent cosmetic changes. It worked for me for awhile, however they are similarly priced to several other communities in the area that provide a much better quality of living than the Sullivan has to offer. Make sure you walk the actual unit you apply for, do not recommend signing blind. Some of the listed units are not as advertised. Good Luck.

I…read morewas on the board at my previous condo for 18 years, I have been on my current condo board for eight years, and Home Perfection Contracting is the best and most professional contractor I have ever worked with. They tore off our old exterior stairs structure and siding, waterproofed the entire wall, and installed new siding and a stairs structure that is far superior to the old one. Their integrity and work quality are off the charts. The owner, Ahmad Khreshi, did thorough research before starting our well-planned project. I was impressed by his knowledge of current construction techniques and dedication to doing the job right. There were several problems that required Ahmad to think outside of the box, one being how to install siding under our existing power lines conduit which was mounted to the exterior wall at six different points. Several times, Ahmad's crew discovered water damage due to poor work by our developer. Ahmad was extremely flexible in adding repair of that damage into his work plan on top of the bid-upon work. Ahmad was kind and fair, listened to our concerns, answered our questions, kept us in the loop, worked with us on timing, and gave us a couple breaks. His crew was extremely professional and respectful, taking off their shoes when they had to come through the building and isolating interior work areas with plastic sheet dividers. When our project was completed, Ahmad send us the following. I've never worked with a contractor who followed up with an offer of help like this: "Remember, you can always reach out with any technical building related questions, in any trades. I'm more than happy to give advice and guidance on code matters or general best practices, even if you are hiring other people."

Ahmad and his crew had a keen sense of attention to detail that made us very happy and left the neighbors extremely impressed. He was here everyday and was quick to respond if/when needed. Ahmad was extremely patient, knowledgeable and answered all of the many questions I had morning and night. The crew left the site clean and organized ready for the next day. They worked tirelessly morning and night and were extremely respectful and kind. He is honest and fair and produces fantastic work, something that is rare to come by these days. I will be using Ahmad for all our future Contracting needs! Thank you, Ahmad and crew!

When evaluating my trees, they clearly explained which ones needed deadwood removal and which ones were fine at the time. They also had to remove one tree from my front yard, and they took the time to explain in detail why removal was necessary. I recently worked with Rodney, and he was great about discussing the details of the job and explaining his recommendations. He is obviously very knowledgeable about trees and clearly cares deeply about his work. I especially appreciated that he was there with the crew on the day they removed the deadwood and walked me through what they were doing. Of all the companies I contacted, Green Vista also seemed to have the most appropriate equipment for the job. Several other companies weren't confident they could get their lift into my backyard. Green Vista was able to do it, and they laid down appropriate tracking and ground protection to make sure there was no damage to my lawn. In one case, I found two dead branches that weren't visible from my side of the property. Rodney and the team came back quickly and took care of them, which I really appreciated. I know I'll be using Green Vista again in the future. Their pricing is excellent considering they have a certified arborist involved, and most importantly, they genuinely seem to care about the health of the trees rather than trying to upsell you. Highly recommended.
