Not recommended! We had our dryer vent and HVAC vent cleaned, but after the service, we noticed more lint accumulating around the house. Since then, the dryer's heater coil and thermostat have burned out three times. We later found out that the technician hadn't properly cleaned the dryer vent and had left it hanging loose from the roof, causing lint to blow into the attic--a serious fire hazard. This explained the increase in lint we saw after the service. We tried contacting him multiple times to report these issues, but he never showed up and made excuses instead, refusing to take responsibility. read more

Leo's service is very reliable, honest, and just my hero. I never write reviews but they really deserve my time and effort in writing a review. Will was the one who answered my call in the morning when I thought a bird died inside my dryer. He came on the same day because I was really suffering from the stench! He came and checked my dryer (which I hired an appliance company to do but that's another story) and started checking my dryer duct. He found the dead bird and proceeded to clean the vent. He is a very decent guy. He covered the vent and made sure that nothing can get in there again. I asked him to come back to clean the vents of the whole house. He said he will be here at 8 am and he was here at 7:59. They took care of the job! I also asked him if he could cover another hole on the siding where more birds where getting in and he did. Leo's Service arrived when they said they would. The two people worked continuously for 2 hours cleaning our ducts. They cleaned up their worked area excellently, vacuuming the entire area and even the stairway they had used to get access to our furnace. Leo's service is amazing! I had them come out a few months ago; they were prompt, professional, and most efficient. Clearly know their craft! They fixed my dryer vent and luckily left a magnet on the dryer. Unfortunately I had an issue in 3 months time. I called them, they came out immediately. The "issue" was my mistake, blocking the outside vent when I took it off to clean out the lint; I put it back wrong and was blocking the vent to allow air flow out. RE: Kitchen Hood/Fan Motor Cleaning and Dryer Vent Cleaning We highly recommend without reservation Leo's Services for duct cleaning and kitchen hood cleaning. We contracted with Mr Torrez of Leo Services to clean the huge buildup of grease from our kitchen hood motor/fan, filter and duct. Our system is quite old and we have been unable to get any help from kitchen companies or suppliers for cleaning or for replacement of the heavily greased filter. In addition, Leo Services took care of our problematic dryer vent cleaning. The high quality of his workmanship is outstanding. Thorough cleaning is a trademark of his business. His attention to detail is commendable. We especially appreciated Leo's reliability and responsiveness to our concerns and dilemma. We are grateful that he helped us solve problem out of his domain in a timely and efficiently manner. Our kitchen hood filter was extremely difficult to remove but Mr Torrez remedied this situation and in addition, took care of measuring and ordering us a custom made filter to have as a backup while one is being soaked so my cooking would not be interrupted. Also important for us, we felt very comfortable having Mr Torrez in our home. He is reliable, hard-working, pleasant, polite, courteous, considerate but more importantly shows a willingness and concern to not just do a superficial repair but to understand and discover the cause of a recurring problem and address it so would not reoccur in future. For this last point we are very grateful as it has saved us great expense and time. We have an especially long dryer duct. Despite several frequent dryer vent cleanings by other companies and handymen, an unusually huge buildup of lint prevented our dryer from working properly. We were puzzled as cleanings were frequent. Mr Torrez persevered to discover the cause of the problem and corrected it and our dryer is working efficiently now!
