I drove 6 hours with a trailer to purchase a motorcycle from this dealership based on how it was advertised: "mint condition," one owner, clean title, garage kept, not a scratch. Before I even saw the bike, I was told: * Cash only * Paperwork was already prepared * I was asked to sign before inspecting the motorcycle * I was not allowed to test ride Once I finally inspected the bike in person, the condition did not match the advertisement: * Visible rust on the frame * Rust in the rear * Corroded and worn hardware/screws * Clearly not "mint" and not "no scratches / garage kept" as described When I calmly pointed out the issues and asked why none of this was disclosed beforehand, the seller became angry and defensive and claimed he "didn't know" and that it was "normal." This was a complete waste of time, fuel, and effort after traveling six hours based on inaccurate information. I walked away because the motorcycle was not as advertised and the pressure to sign and pay cash before inspection was unacceptable. Stay Clear of this place at all costs. I went to go buy a 2009 Mercedes E350 vin number WDBUF87X09B372052 from this dealer. Drove 4 hours there to check it out and the car was in total disrepair. Brakes were noisy where they just slapped some cheap pads on it. The car shook like crazy when applying the brake pedal and I noticed that the front end looked like it was poorly repaired. I asked them if it had ever been in an an accident and they said it never had been and its all original paint. After about 30 minutes going back and forth I finally had them run the carfax and wouldn't you know it was involved in a front end collision. Sooo, my wife and I looked at a car they had for sale, and decided to buy it-we talked to Dave, who was nothing but a jackass and rude! Bo, on the other hand is a great guy and a salesman I wish worked somewhere else-Leopardi doesn't deserve him. Anyways, after trying to get pass the jackass Dave bc we really wanted the car-we came in the next morning, (Saturday), with cash on hand to buy the car-the only stipulation was we needed to test drive the vehicle to make sure everything is good. Jackass Dave said he talked to the owner and they wouldn't let us drive it bc of the weather. The streets were perfectly fine and I had cash to but it. No one buys a car without driving it. But, rude wonder Dave wouldn't let us! So we left, extremely disappointed and felt misused. Wait, it gets worse, the following Monday, they raised the price a thousand dollars on the car! OMG! My friend bought a car from this auto shop and was told it received a full servicing. Not only did they not service the vehicle but they neglected to inform us of the multitude of issues the car was having. including but not limited to: 1.) the engine repeatedly stalls. We almost died many times. 2.) the head lights wouldnt work. 3.) the oil intake valve was broken, thus spewing oil out of the car. 4.) the breaks were never bled and had black sludge for fluid. do not buy old cars from here. read more

What a blessing this place was!! At the time I was in the market for a vehicle, it was a transition period in my life. I recently had graduated from college where I lived for 4 yrs. so I never needed a car. When I returned home to my parents house, I seriously needed transportation. Cappy even went a step further when I told him I did not have a way to get down to the car lot and finish up the paper work. He then got in the car I was approved for and drove it to my house to pick me up! I was blown away by the service and thoughtfulness of Leopardi and the salespeople there. I would tell everyone to stay away from this dealership. Let me explain why; I called about a vehicle they have had for two months. I told them I'm very interested (which was true, and they wouldn't bring it out from wherever they had it without knowing that). When I get there several days later on the day and time that I had chosen, right off the bat they have a potential buyer. Okay, not a huge deal, I'm here first, I'm paying cash, and I'm the reason the vehicle is even here today, according to them. We test drive and see if they'll come down, no, of course. We take a few minutes to think about it. We are literally sitting at their desk considering a purchase when they take the keys and walk outside to this other buyer. They come back and say, and I quote "Welp we sold it so you don't have to think about it anymore." Whether they truly did or didn't is unclear, as these are snake oil people. I was not going to fight for it when they had clearly set this up for both of us to arrive after they've had this car for 57 days, and she happens to show up on the day and time I requested. And beyond that, to interrupt a potential sale for a customer who was there first, had already test driven the vehicle, who had called and gotten the vehicle ready to see and set up an appointment, and who was at their desk waiting on making a decision of whether or not to purchase, just to "sell" it to someone else who had just rolled into the parking lot that moment is incredibly unprofessional. They rushed us and wanted us to fight for it and get the best bid and I wasn't playing their game. They wanted us to feel pressured and make a spur of the moment decision and just generally take advantage of a young buyer. Snake oil salesmen with attitudes here. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS DISHONEST DEALERSHIP! I purchased or THOUGHT I had purchased a vehicle I saw online, had a purchase agreement (price and terms) and was about to travel to pick up my car. As I was packing up to drive to Pittsburgh (from out of town) FORTUNATELY I checked my email one last time -- they sold my car to someone else literally 2 hours after they last told me "looking forward to seeing you and selling you this car". I offered numerous times to give them a deposit, being told "this is unnecessary! we have an agreement! we are in business here a long time, treat customers right, etc." I was NEVER TOLD at any time that our agreement wasn't binding, or that until I showed up the car was for sale to anyone who walked in the door. It was my belief the car was marked "sold". I think they just used my cash offer as an incentive to "goose" another buyer ("hey! someone else is coming from out of town to buy this in the morning, you'd better sign on the dotted line!") -- perhaps someone who signed up for a profitable high interest car loan. At every step, this dealership LIED OPENLY TO ME and deceived me; worse, even though I begged them not to let me drive all the way out to their dealership for nothing, they almost let me do so. It was a miracle I got their late-night last "blow off" email before I left for a 400 mile round trip, 2 tanks of gas, at $3.79 a gallon. They have absolutely no morals. They will rip you off. I purchased an 08 Impala from good ol Dave and the staff there at Leopardi in May. Upon purchase, I noticed the back driver side door wouldn't unlock. A day or two later, the engine was heating up. I called and notified him of these issues. He tells me to bring it in so HE can fix it as THEY HAD NO MECHANIC ON STAFF (should have been the 1st red flag). I drop it off and get it the next day, the temperature sensor is fixed but the door isn't. I guess he felt it wasn't important enough to fix. Within 2 weeks, I start to feel jerking as if my transmission was slipping. Eventually I got the check engine light and the "reduced engine power" notice on my dashboard. Took it to Autozone for the reader test. Says throttle position sensor. I called Dave and the schmuck says "Oh you must be a transmission guy or something". This statement made my blood boil and my fists ball up. After a short back and forth, he finally refers me to a mechanic. I get the appointment scheduled, take it in and what do you know?? My transmission needed replaced!! I called Dave back and said "I'm a transmission guy moreso than you are and I work in Healthcare". Thank goodness for the warranty because 2 months later, another sensor burned out and I needed another transmission replaced. Y'all keeping count? That's 2 transmissions on 1 car in 3-4 months!! The mechanic they sent me to wasn't the nicest but I at least got answers. Fast forward to this morning. I go to get an oil change and the mechanic instantly points out 2 major leaks in my engine. One from the head gasket, the other from the transmission feeding line. Oh and I've killed my 3rd sensor. It goes without saying that this piece of shit will be traded in for something better from a RELIABLE DEALERSHIP. I wish I could take back the one star because they deserve none. I saw another post on here saying they would stand outside with a sign deterring customers away from the business. I spoke with "Lying Mike" the night before I had to drag my poor father out to the dealership to cosign, and he assured me the vehicle would not be sold, he also said he would accept my trade in. When we got to the dealership the next day, I was informed the car was already sold and they would not accept my trade in. If that wasn't bad enough, "Lying Mike" had the audacity to try and sell me a more expensive vehicle to get more money out of me. DISHONEST AND UNETHICAL DEALERSHIP. SELF INDULGING. I purchased a vehicle there and not one thing went right with this deal. When I stopped in to just look a cars, I was greeted with great kindness. The pressure to buy this car was relentless, but truth is I waned a convert able and they were meeting my terms (so I thought). Once the vehicle was purchased, and I needed an appointment fr the broken windshield wiper in the dead middle of winter. (shortly after purchasing the car), I scheduled and appointment. I took off work early to make the appointment time, and because I couldn't see anything with all the winter crud covering the windshield. I get to the appointment and they tell me tat they sent the mechanic home early. They forgot I had an appointment. So I rescheduled only to find out that their mechanic does not work on BMW vehicles. I finally had to take it to a foreign car repair place and miss another days work. Once there I had them contact the dealership at Leopardi to cover the cost and was told that to much time had passed (30 days after purchase), so they would not cover the cost. I had a fit and they finally agreed to cover a portion of the repair. I had no manual for the car, not recognizing the symbols, I called and asked for it, and was told they would get one for me. As it turned out, after several calls for it, I had to purchase my own at a cost of $300.00 + dollars. My first car payment was 60 days late because I never received any thing saying who I owed my payments to. I called and no return calls back. I finally had to walk in again to gather his information. When I finally found out who it was that I owed payments to they wanted a $50.00 late fee for both months of being late. I explained the situation to them and they said that it was in my contract. I asked for a copy of that contract and they told me it was up to the dealership to give that to me. The dealership said it was up to the financing company. Needless to say I never got a copy of it, and had to say the late fees. After 3 months I spoke to my insurance company to ask why they didn't send out a new quote on the vehicle and the policy, and they told me that they never received information from the dealership. I purchased the full coverage warranty on this vehicle, because it stated it covered the labor and diagnostics and was told it covered it bumper to bumper. I then had a engine light come on and took it to the dealership for repairs only to find out the warranty never covered the diagnostic fee and they only were going to pay 60% of the labor. This was the last straw. After 7 months I purchased a new car and returned the vehicle to Leopardi. I stayed in constant contact with the financing company as to this and when I dropped it off. They are still calling for payment this month even though the vehicle has been at Leopardi's since the beginning of the month. I then get a call from the owner to find out what happen and he proceeds to tell me that he is aware of the warranty not being a stand up company, so I asked him why his company didn't tell me that and why then do you sell it to people. He said (yep you got it, "they get a kick back for selling the warranty and his people should have told me that", and he is willing to make the difference on the cost of repairs. I told him "it's a little late since I already purchased a new vehicle. He said he wanted to make things right, and what would it take. I told he if he really wanted to make things right then he should buy back the vehicle. He said he wouldn't do that. So much for making things right. The car still sits at the dealership. I then informed him I was willing to stand in front of the store with a sign saying he should be ashamed of himself. Never once did he apologize for any of the trouble his company caused me. So if you see me standing in traffic at peak time with the sign, then you know he has done nothing to make things right. Do yourself a favor. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS PLACE. read more
