Why were they in the book? While we did get a quote on a less preferred brand that at least had a few fabrics we liked reasonably well, being the picky type, we finally decided to go elsewhere. I have no problem recommending Budget Blinds. My spouse and I just didn't feel like continuing on to ordering after the disappointing issues with an out of date sample catalogue. I think they need to do a better job with their communications and customer service. Their estimator really tried though to make us happy.

A few months later when I couldn't find the credit note I went to the store, let them know I lost the credit slip and asked if there was any way to verify the credit. They checked their file box and couldn't find a copy. I understand that it was my loss however what they said put me off for good. First they chastised me for waiting so long to use the credit. Secondly they said that I may have already used the credit at another store and be trying to use it again. After all how did they know for sure I hadn't done that. I was floored by this comment. They basically were saying that I may be lying and trying to cheat them out of $30! This is what they felt fine to say and they knew me as a customer. I said to myself right then I would never set foot in that shop again.

They were so helpful and the service was amazing. I had been talking with another company in Vancouver that sold a similar product, and chose The Good Planet because of the service. (As an aside, the Vancouver company was completely atrocious). The bed is amazing, the best bed I've owned, and worth every penny. They let me put the bed on layaway, and because of that it let me convince the person sleeping on the other side of the bed, that we really did need to buy the complete natural, toxin free package. He's just upgraded to a natural shredded rubber pillow, and loves it as well. When you buy a bed, they offer 10% off all the linens and pillows for any future purchases. They also allowed my brother-in-law to return a shredded rubber pillow that had seemed to not hold up, I brought it in the store for an exchange when buying the new pillow, no trouble at all. Since moving and expanding from the old location, they've brought in even more products. Their buying practices, and just their taste, is awesome. This is absolutely the best store to buy gifts, for yourself, or anyone. I can't believe it's not on Yelp yet, but I'm very stoked to be the first to review. You'll find everything from toxin free kid toys, clothes, home composting kits, Level Ground Coffee, natural cleaning supplies, fair trade baskets, unique sustainable gifts, tons of great kitchen options, tools, towels, dishes, it's a never ending journey of fabulous when you explore this beautiful shop. They have a safety mechanism on them incase the dresser falls over. Rob and his team had no intentions in trying to solve the issue they avoided my phone calls and my emails. I would never buy anything from Q living ever again.
