Found Leon on Yelp when we finally decided to get our big Eucalyptus tree trimmed that was well overdue. Leon came out, told us just what he thought was needed and gave us a fair estimate. On the agreed date he showed up right on time with 3 other guys and they knocked it out pretty quickly. They first removed anything in the way and put everything back like it was. Even removed some extra accumulated leaves that I have been too lazy to rake up. Would not hesitate to recommend his services to a friend or family. Thanks Leon read more

Leon's the best. This is the second time I've used his tree trimming service and couldn't be happier. Not only does he know how to trim trees, he knows how they should be shaped to optimize growth, use, and health. Great service all at a reasonable price! read more

We used Leon's tree removal about 10 years ago with excellent results, today was no different. Him and his crew arrived on time, did a phenomenal job from start to finish. If you want an honest and hardworking business, use Leon's! Additionally they left the site cleaner than when they came! Highly recommend! read more

I have read all these review and mostly agree, except our experience ended on a bad note. Yes, he was Responsive, managed to schedule me within days of giving me the estimate because someone else Canceled, and did the work well. I have a mesquite tree in my back yard and wanted my tree and the neighbors tree hanging over into my yard trimmed to let in more light. He quickly gave me the same line...that he couldn't be bothered ro just trim one quarter of it and the overhanging branch from neighbor. So we discussed doing the whole tree which involved taking down one string of lights. When he called to schedule, I clarified that he would be there and that he would take down and then put back up the lights. When he wanted payment I checked rhe back yard and saw he had not re hung lights. When I pointed this out he instantly got mad and started to make all kinds of excuses. I stood my ground and with great drama he finally stalked off and got his ladders back there with his crew and did a lousy job...lights are wound around a big limb instead of being hung property draped from branch to branch. Although yes, in the end he put them back Up, his lousy attitude and effort in that one area really left a bad taste! read more

Leon and his team are truly the very best in the business for many reasons including reliability, professionalism and honesty. His fee was more than half what another "Top Notch Tree Service " was going to charge us! So lucky to have found Leon and his team! read more

Leon and his crew came out 3 days after his estimate showed up right at 6:30 AM as promised removed 2 large trees and grinded up the stumps and it was like they were never there. Whole job with great cleanup done in about 2 hours. Those guys don't mess around, they were pro's and very efficient. Price was very good too, don't hesitate to call Leon. Thanks for the great job. read more

We had Leon's Tree Service remove a 35' tall palm on a short notice from our front yard. He was responsive and was able to accommodate us promptly. His price was reasonable. He and his team were punctual and did an outstanding job of taking down the tree and cleaning up afterwards. read more

I highly recommend Leon's Tree Service. He removed several trees for me, including some very, very tall palm trees. He is reasonably priced, works hard when he is here, and cleans up the debris. He always comes on time and does a good job. He is great at getting out large stumps. read more

Leon was prompt with quote and service! He and his team worked hard to clean up our whole property!

Leon and his crew did an excellent job trimming and shaping mesquite trees, a palm tree and removed 2 trees. They arrived on time, were hard workers, cleaned up when finished, price very reasonable, Will hire again, highly recommend. read more

Our mesquite tree had grown too much, and with monsoons around the corner, my husband was worried one of the branches could break off and damage our home or our neighbor's. We got an estimate from a different company first and then from Leon. Leon's estimate was much better, and they said they would clean up the same day. The team got here on time, and our tree was completely gone in 3 hours. They brought a wood chipper, and our area was completely cleaned up. You can't even tell we ever had a tree. Amazing work! If you want to contact them, text them at the number on their website to start. My husband can be a little inpatient, and when he didn't get a call back an hour after he had called, he texted and got a response pretty quickly. read more

Thank you, Leon for the personable communication and quick service at a great rate. We had been looking at that tree for years and dealing with constant maintenance! We called you in the morning, you came by that afternoon, and the following morning your team of men arrived at 7 am and it was done. Cleanup and care of our surroundings was taken care. We will refer you and your service. read more

Leon had come out on Monday to give me an estimate (the same day I called), and was 1/2 the price of another company I spoke with. We needed 3 mature mesquites trimmed badly. I believe he was also the only company I called that actually answered the call himself, and didnt have a front office person. The other companies took hours to get back to me, and for this job, I was wanting to schedule quickly and get the trimming done before it got any later in the season. Based of this and his great reviews on Angie's List, I hired Leon's Tree Service. Leon and his crew of 3 arrived at 7:00am on the dot, per our arrangement. We looked at the trees together and he explained his suggestions, and he went from there. The crew worked quickly and efficiently, cleaning up as they went, making sure to blow all the leaves and debris out of the rock in my yard. I had just had the landscapers clean up the yard earlier in the week after months of neglect, so this was important to me! At the end of each initial trimming, Leon checked with me to see if I liked how it looked and if I wanted any more done. I made my requests, and he let me know what would be most beneficial for the tree, and for aesthetics. He explained how to water the trees post trimming, so they would regenerate quickly. While he was at my house, I got ready for work and even walked my dog, and the crew just worked away. In the end, he offered my 10% off without me even asking (I was planning to use the 5% of Angie's List coupon) - I was very grateful and impressed. I will definitely hire Leon's again, and would recommend others to do the same! read more

We've had Leon out to our house twice, he did such a great job the first time, it was a no-brainer to have him back again. Leon is such a nice gentleman, very honest, fair, professional, reasonable, knowledgeable, efficient, and what other adjectives that say Leon is the one to call if you need trees removed or trimmed. I was amazed at how quickly they did the job, he has great equipment and an excellent crew. They cleaned up everything when they were finished, and even went beyond what we had agreed on. I can't recommend him enough. read more

Leon and his crew were trimming the neighbor's tree. I had a call in to another company that had not returned my call. I asked him to give me an estimate for trimming a tree. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a fair estimate. He did the work then and there, his crew cleaned up exceptionally well. Thank you. read more

I called Leon based on another referral source. He was out to my house that day to look at and bid the job. Leon removed seven oleander trunks from my yard, some of which were huge. Leon and his team of one worker came out and finished the job in about 90 minutes. They cleaned up well and the yard area looks great. I appreciated Leon's timelines and focus on removing the trunks. I would call him again for future work. read more

I a tree that had died over the winter and several trees that needed significant trimming. Leon contacted me within and hour and arranged for a time to come to my home and walk the area. He provided me an estimate on the spot that was very reasonable. We schedule a time for him to return with his crew to do the work. They arrived on time, started to work and had the tree down and the stump ground down in short order. They trimmed all the trees we discussed and several more that Leon felt could do with a touch up all for the agreed upon estimate price. They hauled off all the debris and left my yard looking better than when they arrived. Great service run by Leon. I will definitely use Leon's Tree Service again! read more

Would give no stars if I could. Very rude and disrespectful he came out after a storm had caused a branch of my tree to break off. He went in my backyard took a quick look and left, we never heard from him. I called and was told he's not gonna come over here for a tree branch it's too small of a job. He never bothered to call us and let us know either way. Leon you're an ungrateful slimy jerk and I hope your hateful ways come back on you. read more

This guy knows his business. He came out the next day. He gave a clear assessment of the situation, offered options and gave a fair price. Two days later, the job was done. And, on top of everything else, the clean-up was superb. read more

Definitely agree with all the other reviews for Leon's Tree Service. When I called Leon, he picked up my call and came out in the afternoon to do an estimate for 2 trees that needed some serious trimming. Gave me a great quote (compared to other tree services) and went with his company. When he showed up to do the job at the proposed time, he was 15 min early and was able to do the job in 90 min (trim and cleanup). Also, when I asked Leon to get a few branches from other trees, he took care of it no questions asked. Leon was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and very customer-service oriented. I'm definitely using him again and recommend his business. read more

Excellent service all around!!! Leon answered his phone right away, came out the same day to give us an estimate. He even made recommendations that I hadn't even thought of. His team showed up on time for our appointment, were very professional, cleaned up even more than I expected. If you're looking for someone to trim your trees, look no further than Leon! read more

What a great guy and crew! Very fair price, quick service and great cleanup. Can't recommend Leon enough.

We've used Leon's Tree Service multiple times. Most recently, on 6/27/2019. The service his company provides is excellent and the price is fair. We've had him remove trees and drill the stumps and we've had him trim trees. He and his crew are always on time and efficient. They do a great job of cleaning up. Because we've had him work on our trees over the years, we can tell you that after the trees are trimmed, they grow out beautifully. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending him. read more

Great local company with exceptional service! Leon and his crew skillfully removed a very large saguaro cactus that had fallen on my house. It's rare to get this kind of service at a fair price. Leon was quick to respond, knowledgeable, and seemed to really care about his customers. I highly recommend! read more

I saw the reviews for Leon's here on Yelp and decided to call him. He came to my house in less than a week and explained to me what the tree needed to have done in order to correct the neglect it had experienced during the previous owner's occupancy. He told me exactly what it would cost if I decided to hire him. Well, I did hire him and I'm glad that I did. He and his crew were quick and thorough-- very competent professionals. I would definitely use Leon's Tree Service again. read more

I called Leon, he picked up the phone (which was a great start). He was with a customer when I called, but he told me he'd call me right back when he was done (and he did). We scheduled time for him to come out to give me a quote. He was here on time, very professional and personable. He gave me a quote, we scheduled a time to do the job. He and his crew showed up and did an excellent job. I had 5 big mesquite trees that needed trimming badly. Leon has a good eye for his line of work and the trees look great for a decent price. He did not butcher them as others have in the past. When they were done, they cleaned up the mess and left the yard in spotless condition. I also asked him about Yelp...and he said what's that. ha-ha. So, if you are reading this review, please know these reviews are legitimate for Leon's tree service. Would absolutely refer Leon to any looking for a Tree Trimming or Tree Removal services. They are wonderful to work with. read more

Gave the best price of three firms for trimming a large mesquite in our front yard to remove dead wood and mistletoe. Arrived when promised, did an excellent job, and cleaned up after work was complete. Would use this firm again. read more

Leon came on Friday and gave me an estimate ($1300 for 8-9 mequites seriously overgrown and with lots of mistletoe). They came back Monday morning and started my job. Everything was nicely trimmed, raked up, and cleaned up. They trimmed a round a bird's nest so as not to disturb it. They even threw in pruning some branches from another tree without charging me extra. They cut up the large mesquite branches (which I use for firewood) and stacked them neatly by my woodpile. All in all, I was very satisfied and would recommend them. read more

Leon and crew did a great job on a number of.problems we had, tree over hanging the pool equipment building, clean up some poorly trimmed (by me) Mesquite trees and one over hanging the house. Arrived promptly, good team (qty4 4).of workers, cleaned up very well. Leon can swing from the trees like a teen but does it safely. Made some good suggestions on tree condition and how to handle. Yes he does answer the phone. read more
