Working out on Delano and havenbeen wanting to try this baked potato spot out!!!…read more My buddy and I both got two meats, I got bacon and pastor, and he got asada and pastor along with elote in a cup. Meat choices: bacon, carne asada, chorizo and al pastor Standard fillings: shredded cheese, salt, butter, sour cream, green onions and jalapenõs Potato is baked, filling is scooped out, adding, butter, salt (always order no salt), sour cream and a bit of shredded cheese. Everything is then mashed together and added back to the potato shell (kinda like a twice baked potato). Then topped with shredded cheese, choice of meat (I ordered bacon), green onions and pickled jalapenõs. All flavors come together beautifully and the texture is very creamy and delicious. My potato was about $15, price is right on point. They also offer roasted corn, esquite, a couple of different types of nachos. This is a food truck located on the east side of Pemex (County Line Road) The offer some outdoor seating. Parking is ok but shared with the gas station. They accept call-ins and walk-ups. Cash or card Service is quick and very friendly. Ambiance is very laidback. Support your local small business.

They are usually on the corner of Allen & Rosedale parked by the RiteAid, but you can also find them sometimes at the downtown market or in the southwest summer market also ran by the downtown market. I do know they are at CSUB also sometimes, but I don't know what their schedule is. I'm definitely a fan. They don't have a huge menu, but their food is delicious. I saw on IG they had kimbap, but I don't see it on their menu. My youngest loves kimbap so if anyone knows if they have kimbap, please post your pictures :-) or let us know if it's a secret item. If you haven't tried their food yet then you're definitely missing out! If you love Korean food then this is the truck. I need to try other items, but for everything I have tried it's a 5 star truck for sure!

I was beyond happy that I did and will definitely be returning. His food was absolutely amazing. So much flavor. And the proportions were huge. I couldn't believe how much food I was getting. He's a one man operation, but his service is quicker than most restaurants who have everything right at their disposal. Make sure to follow him on Facebook and Instagram so you can follow the truck in case he moves. Helping this small business owner was the least I could do. He is every bit worth the stop.

I got asada bakers (potato) for my son and my lovely wife and I decided to try the chile verde Mac and cheese. Here it comes... IT WAS GOOD. It was fresh, their spice mix packs a nice punch in the chile verde, and there's plenty of carne asada on the bakers. Prices are too high everywhere, but these prices are lower than most food trucks and fast food restaurants (except In n Out). We definitely recommend!!!

I know baked potato is basic, but there's nothing basic about their baked potato. That thing is HUGE!!! My husband, son and I made a big mistake by getting our own and we could not put it down. I think it took me 4 days to finish mine haha. They do not skimp! You think it's gonna be dry when you get to the bottom, but it's buttery and they hook it up. Service was fast. It took them about 10-15 min to make all 3 of our baked potatoes and they even had a line when we went. Definitely recommend that you check them out. Make sure you have an appetite or make sure you share with a person or 2. Not sure how long they've been around or where else their truck posts at, but I would love to come back. If you're able to see inside their truck you can see they have a little assembly line going on to stay organized. I saw 3 people working the truck, but I could be wrong. Bakersfield needs more food trucks, so I'm wishing and hoping for this trucks success!

The employee/owner was very friendly and engaged me in conversation while processing my payment. Because of the ongoing conversation, I didn't immediately review my receipt. Later, when I checked the receipt, I discovered that I had been charged for an item that I did not order. The charge was significantly higher than what I expected to pay based on my actual purchase. What bothered me most was not the dollar amount itself, but the fact that the receipt did not match what I requested. Customers should never have to worry about being charged for items they didn't order, and I would strongly encourage anyone visiting to carefully review their receipt before leaving. I can't speak for everyone else's experience, but based on mine, I left feeling disappointed and hesitant to return. Transparency and accuracy are basic expectations when paying for a meal, and unfortunately that was not my experience here.

(They did warn that their food contains sesame, so please be cautious if you have a sesame allergy!) I decided to try them out and OH MY GOODNESS is their food yummy! My coworkers and I ordered through Doordash and we had our food in our hands in about 25 minutes! (And that was food for 6 people!) I was impressed at the speed, especially since this is a food truck! The chicken shawarma was delightful and the falafel might have been the best I've tried in town! I ordered the chicken shawarma platter and got a side of hummus for my table to share. The platter was a generously filled plate of food - I couldn't even finish my rice! The platter came with chicken, rice, salad, one falafel, some kind of yummy sauce, and a pita bread cut into nice little pieces. One of my favorite parts of this plate was the little fried pita bread crouton things on the salad... They were so yummy! While the food is a *little* on the pricier side, it's 100% worth every penny! Give them a try!

The Chicken Swarma sandwich called my name. I cannot believe how fast the service is here. It's so fast, you might think the food would suffer, but you're wrong. The Chicken is tender and the pita was stuffed so full, I folded it open and ate it with a fork. It was a nice day and I enjoyed my lunch watching the world go by on 20 the & H. It has an outside cafe vibe that I find pleasant. The Fox theater is nearby and the main fire station is right across the street. Being a food truck you don't get amenities like a washroom. The sandwich is juicy and I always seem to make a mess. But this is nothing a towelette in the glove box can't fix. If you're looking for tasty Mediterranean food at reasonable prices, and you're downtown, you can't go wrong with Pita Paradise.

Founded by co-owners John Aliwalas and Jeneryn San Antonio, it was local food truck favorite and now it has it own home. The owners left healthcare careers during the pandemic to share their family recipes and bring traditional Filipino comfort food to the local community.
