My husbands al pastor potato

This food truck has some yummy potatoes! They are huge! They are well worth the $7! I always stick to the bacon baked potato. It includes sour cream, butter, chives, bacon, cheese, and jalapeños. They mix up the sour cream and butter into the potato so things don't get to messy...I love that! The potato is cooked perfectly always soft and so tasty! Other meat choices such as chorizo, pastor, or asada are available. I always stick to the classic, but the others do look amazing. They also sell corn...They sell esquite which is corn in a cup mixed in with all the traditional street corn toppings. If your not into the corn with the topping you can also buy roasted corn which is delicious also!

If you're rolling into Delano either 99 S or 99 N, you've got to stop by this truck. They have the best baked potatoes (bacon, asada, al pastor, or chorizo) ever!! Their elotes and esquites are delicious as well. You will not be disappointed! For the price of $6.50 for the baked potatoes and $3.00 esquites ... I mean what else can you ask for?! These people have come a long way and I'm glad that fellow Delanoians and other people passing through this small town, support this local business. The people are super friendly and I'm hoping they stay open for a long time. (I know I'm asking for too much lol) Try this place out people!! FYI: THEY ONLY TAKE CASH!!

I heard about this place about 2 weeks ago from my coworkers and my hubbys coworkers. I ended looking it up on google to see if it was true. Its a big potatoe mixed with sour cream cheese chives and the selection of meat you request which is either bacon chorizo or carne asada. Plus they sell corns with mayonnaise cheese and chile just like the elote men that push the carts around. The prices are great 6.00 bucks for a potatoe and 2.00 bucks for a corn. The line was short not a long wait about 15 minutes but worth every minute of it. I recommend this place is your driving by the area or visiting someone in Delano. Its off the 99 freeway not hard to find.

Good food and you get a lot for what you pay for! Best baked potatoes in town! They various toppings and are very delicious, I got the asada on my baked potato and it was very good.

Doesn't get better than this.

We are addicted to their potatoes and corn. Not only are the potatoes delicious, but the couple who owns this food truck are always so friendly and welcoming, it's always a nice stop. The potatoes are fully loaded, although they make them to order. Huge potatoes, roasted like the corn, filled with sour cream, butter, salt, pepper, real bacon, green onions, cheese and jalapeños. Seriously can't find a better potato in town. Maybe anywhere in kern county. Anyone getting the idea that I love potatoes? The corn can either be purchased on the cob or in a bowl. You know they got all the fixings for that corn too. It's cash only, but there is an atm in the gas station.

If you are craving tender and flavorful birria, then Tacos Humildes is your stop…read more This location lacks parking, however, next block over there's a city lot with plenty of free parking. This is a no frills type place but it's clean and organized. On this particular day I ordered the following: 1. Birria Pizza (roughly $21 or so) it includes 12oz of consume. Two oversized flour tortilla stuffed with tender, beef birria and cheese) then grilled like a quesadilla. Topped with (which I got on the side) diced white onions, chopped cilantro, pickled red onions and drizzled with a vibrant "green sauce" which was creamy (an emulsified salsa verde taquera) and a fiery red sauce which was significantly spicer than the green and limes on the side. And the consume to dip your pizza birria in. The consume is served piping hot and is so flavorful. This is the broth in which the birria was cooked in. This is my favorite thing to order at Tacos Humildes. 2. Mexican Rice (roughly $4.50). Rice was pretty standard, nothing memorable. But I definitely felt the price-point was off. I received about 9 oz of rice. A bit overpriced for an inexpensive food item. Rice is a few cents on the dollar and really inexpensive to prepare, so almost $5.00 is ridiculous. The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating and AC works great. The cashier, Diana was also prepared the food. She was super friendly and really engaging. I do recommend this local small business for their Pizza Birria. Additionally, Diana informed me that on the weekends, Taco Humildes sets up their taco truck in McFarland.
