NICE ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN THE BAIRRO ALTO AREA OF LISBON
======================================================
A few weeks before our arrival in Lisbon I booked a reservation for dinner for four for Tuesday, July 9, 2024. You must give them a credit card to reserve and if you do not cancel more than 24 hours before you will get charged 25 euros per person.
We walked up to Leonetta from the Turim Boulevard Hotel where we were staying. It was a fifteen minute walk uphill mostly. Lisbon has lots of hills.
I wish I had booked a table outside, but my daughter-in-law liked our high top table by the kitchen. I felt like I was watching a very polite episode of "The Bear" where screaming was not allowed thank goodness.
We arrived during the last fifteen minutes of happy hour, so we all got a discount on our drinks, a ravioli dish with anchovies and some mixed nuts. That was my first aperol spritz of the trip and it was good.
I think I chose the best pasta dish and I shared the agnolotti with black truffle with my son who wanted to order it too. He ended up ordering the pappardelle with lamb and he liked that, but he liked my dish more. My daughter-in-law ordered the sweet potato gnocchi and liked it, but did not love it.
We all shared all three of the desserts on the menu. They were very good.
If I ever visit again I would like to be seated on the patio.n read more
