I've been going to the Doctor's Center for years. Dr. C and the staff at Henderson are so kind, attentive and helpful! I am so grateful!

There is absolutely no follow up with the office staff. For MONTHS the referral was being faxed to wrong imaging location.

You need insurance for school, so get it if you can!) My nurse practitioner is Heather Harvey, and omg she is SO nice and professional. She introduced herself and was very easy to talk to. I hate when I talk to some medical professional and they have their noses to the sky! Not her at all, she took her time to ask me things and seemed very genuine. Additionally, the front desk staff were so helpful. Location-- SECOND FLOOR, turn left, all the way down the hall to the left door! Boom! You're there. ~~TIP~~ bring a mask, because I totally forgot to bring one. But the nice gentleman gave me one for free. Thank you Heather + P3 Medical group!

Isn't the point of the copay and his insurance is so that he doesn't have to pay another bill afterwards? And then when he tried to get an itemized receipt, the agent over the phone refused to provide it for him stating he has to stop by the clinic because they don't do it over the phone. Which is very inconvenient having to take time off from work to drive extremely far for his receipt. All I'm hoping is that when we do go to the front desk, they will be able to provide his itemized bill properly right then and there, because otherwise, this would be extremely unprofessional.

I unfortunately had to change providers here because Alisha,NP left the practice to specialize in…read moresomething else. I got put with Emily,NP & had my annual visit with her and didn't really vibe with her. She was a new NP when I saw her & I could tell that she still had a lot to learn (I'm in the medical field myself). I didn't feel confident in her knowledge of things & she didn't seem to care about some of my concerns that I had brought up with her about a past test result or know too much about it. We don't know everything but please admit it & don't blow things off because you don't know. I had to come back in for some chronic foot pain that I was having, etiology unknown so when I called to schedule an appointment I asked not to see her again. I was told that they would have to get permission from the office manager to switch which I thought was odd. I told them why I wanted to switch and I got lucky and the office manager allowed me to but then I was asked "which NP would you like to see?" They gave me the names of all of them but I didn't have a clue who the rest were so I told them I wanted to see someone who was as good as Alisha & smart/knowledgable like she was. I got placed with Jona,NP & I was pleasantly surprised. Her MA talked very highly of her when we were meeting as I told her that this was going to be my first time seeing her. Jona,NP listened to my concerns and followed thru with my wishes. She didn't rush our time together. I ended up having to follow up with a specialist for my chronic foot pain because the X-ray that was done didn't explain my pain. Of course I've seen Jona,NP several times since then for my yearly wellness exams & when I've been sick. She's pretty easy to get in to see and I'm never waiting very long in the waiting room or the exam room. I love how this office has a lab located inside. I went yesterday to get some labs drawn and the phlebotomist has always really nice, friendly and efficient when I've been in there. It's easy to get a real person when calling the office for any questions that I have or to make an appointment which I appreciate. I love how this office is close to home.

She walked in aggressively and had absolutely no patience for somebody with doctor office anxiety and whitecoat syndrome (which I told them I had when I made this appointment three weeks ago). She was in such a hurry that she had absolutely no time to listen to me explain anything I needed because I've been dealing with a lot, and she took it as me being argumentative. She kept trying to refer me to something I didn't ask for... apparently her mind was already made up as to what the appointment was supposed to be for so she got up, said she couldn't help me and walked out. The next person to walk in was the office administrator telling me the they can't help me at that practice and I am to leave. NO compassion, NO empathy, and I certainly wouldn't go here if you have any kind of mental health issues. They don't seem to have time for any of that

Then I receive a statement in the mail that I owe $225 I called and asked for their billing department they didn't even have the right insurance information... also my address was incorrect the first time I called so I didn't know I've had a bill since September! They didn't have my home address correct or my insurance? I verify insurance for a living, stop copying and pasting. Very unorganized office.

My experience at Avandy Medical has been disappointing, especially given the announcement that my…read moredoctor Dr. Emily left. Since then I have learned the practice will be switching to a concierge model in January 2026. If the current level of service is any indication, I see no reason to pay extra for it. It often took several days to receive a call back, and I had to track down my own results -- something no patient should have to do. A "concierge" experience should mean better access and communication, not less. There are plenty of doctors in this city offering concierge care, but before asking patients to pay more, the basics of follow-up, communication, and respect for patients' time should already be in place. I also think that customer service should be respected (my two cents). The phone service is absolutely terrible. Please let's be kind, be compassionate and be patient

She was extremely condescending and rude to us, taking every opportunity to tell us how dumb and ignorant we were (even when we were very informed, having researched the topic in question). She also seemed to take every opportunity to tell us how smart she was, how much experience she had, whom she knew in local hospitals, etc. She wanted to treat and order tests for my husband solely based on her interpretation of his labs, without any questions about his symptoms or history. We had to really fight and talk over her to get her to even register some very significant, relevant info from his patient history. Even then, she wanted him to do some very expensive tests we would have had to pay for out-of-pocket and which would have involved lots of time and hardship and unnecessary procedures, when he had no symptoms to indicate these tests were needed (just the lab results, which could have meant many different things). She also missed the condition that my husband actually had. When a lab test came back abnormal that went along with and supported what his symptoms and patient history had caused some concern about, she didn't contact him about it or make any mention of it. He had to take the result to a different doctor who ordered him the medication (Lactulose) and testing that the lab result suggested were necessary, and it did help him. It was a really negative experience. I have debated whether to share becuase I don't want to put negativity into the world, but I thought it might help others to share our honest experience. It was such a negative jarring experience and she was so rude to me -- ruder than anyone has been for maybe 10 years -- that I thought sharing might help others to avoid the negative experience we had, which ended up being expensive and emotionally difficult while we were already going through a lot trying to cope with and confirm his diagnosis. She might be a good doctor for some, and she is certainly very knowledgeable, but we had a very bad experience.
