Incredible work, brought a 2000 Honda back to life. The team did a great job, on time and a fair price. Thank you!

Amir, who was managing the garage at the time, was exceptionally helpful and professional. Even though I did not have an appointment, he had someone immediately remove the cement from the hood with some solvent and polish the car. It now looks as good as new -- the cement stains are gone. I am extremely grateful to Amir and his team for their exceptional services.

Don't hesitate to reach out to us at (732) 654-2891 so that we can work with you to ensure your issue is resolved as soon as possible!" This is what you'd call a boilerplate response. If you search for negative reviews of this body shop, you'll find exact copies of this boilerplate posted as a response. It simply means that Maaco wants you to believe they care about your complaint and will take action. Wouldn't it have been better if the company had contacted the customer directly about their concerns? Based on my experience with this body shop as well as Maaco corporate, I can assure you that they won't. I can only warn you that you risk shoddy workmanship if you plan to go to this location. Here is my situation... Over a month ago, after taking my car to a local carwash, I noticed a deep scratch on my tailgate. I took it to Maaco in Tinton Falls, where I initially thought they had done a great job painting over the scratch. However, a month later, I had an accident in the same area of the tailgate, and this time I took it to one of the best local body shops in town. I just received a phone call from the body shop asking if I had recently had the car repainted. I told them that Maaco had done it. The body shop informed me that they had done a terrible job with the adhesion and that their paint job was peeling off. So, guess what? I had to pay the body shop to repaint what I expected Maaco to have done correctly when I paid them. The body shop explained that most of the Maaco paint jobs are rushed and not done well, at least not to their standards. I learned the hard way. I got ripped off on a bad paint job from this place and lost hundreds of dollars in the process. You might be wondering how there could be nearly 200 five-star reviews for this location. That's a good question. I came to this specific Maaco location based on those reviews. And what about the warranty? I did a Google search, and their warranty emphasizes that they will fix their bad paint job rather than issue a refund for their shoddy work. Do you think I want to give this vehicle back to those clowns again? I contacted Maaco corporate to complain about the shoddy paint job done on my vehicle. As I expected, Maaco corporate wouldn't stand behind my complaint, citing that the Tinton Falls location is individually owned and not under their control. So, if you receive a bad paint job from this Tinton Falls location, don't expect anyone to stand behind it. I lost hundreds of dollars to these clowns. And they know who I am. They have my phone number. They could have contacted me, and I would have provided them with photos the local body shop took of their horrific paint job. But reality is, they don't care and would rather issue a boilerplate response to this review than do the right thing and refund me for their incompetence. Take your business somewhere else.
