very professional and straight forward. Job was done quicker than stated and all paper work was explained at every step of the way. Each member of the staff was helpful. read more

First of all RUDE employees that work in the back but I didn't get the gentleman's name but he better learn what respect is because they definitely lost a customer all because they don't have arrows on their exit/entrance and their gps ping is literally set to that entrance and gets mad when I don't feel comfortable backing out of 40 mph lane when I'm already more than halfway with my car in the parking area and I don't know if I'm supposed to able to see inside my engine bay from the front but it's definitely uneven for me but please inform me otherwise if it's supposed to be like that read more

I had my truck repaired after an encounter with a deer. They did an excellent job repairing and it looks like brand new. I did have a problem a few months later with a malfunctioning part and within 1 day all replaced and back to me. They truly honor their warranty! Highly recommended! read more

Terrible service. I brought my truck there in June of 2024 for a front bumper repair. They quoted my insurance $4100 for the fix. In October after months of trying to contact them about my parts on "back order" I decided to cancel my service with them. They then took a $600 service fee off of the check I deposited. My insurance company called and tried to reason with them that since they never had any parts delivered for the repair there should not be a service fee. Sadly they decided to keep the $600 and only returned $3500 of the initial deposit. Super shady business that clearly does not care about its costumers and only their pockets. read more

Very impressed with the service and team at Collex. Dynamic duo, Al and Jennifer, got me an estimate within a day, walked me through next steps, secured a rental, and kept me informed throughout the week. Most importantly, my car looks better than it did when it went in. I would highly recommend taking your vehicle to Collex. read more

Someone backed up out of his driveway into my car. He replies "Well normally, a car isn't parked there". Well guess what MF, today there is (was). No apologies, he even had the wherewithal to say the damage "couldn't really be seen". Came to Collex for my estimate and guess what, that unseen damage costs you round $1900 buddy. Collex was quick, gave a fair estimate, and they were very professional. The Husband has gotten his fenders & benders fixed here before and they did a thorough and superb job (keep reading if you want to find out the ending) The guy finally paid up. A policeman neighbor of his who just happens to be my cousin in law and witness to the scene of the accident stopped by his house a few times to deliver said Collex quote but he "would pretend he wasn't home". He also didn't have a "working phone". So I mailed it #savetheusps #twobirds read more

They don't stand by there work. My car was painted in July now the paint started pealing off they are saying I hit something and that's why it's coming off. There are no signs that I hit anything. Took to another body shop and they told me it wasn't prepped right. Took to back to them and they said it doesn't need to be prepped. BEWARE I Wouldn't let them paint a match box car! read more

Just picked up my car (again ) and these folks never cease to amaze me. Not only was the work completed on time and exactly as discussed, they returned my car looking better than ever! I'm horrified thinking about what the interior looked like when I dropped it off. When I got into it today though, it was sparkling clean! The fender they repaired looks showroom new! The folks in the shop are so friendly and easygoing, I'm sorry I only see them when my car has been damaged! I highly recommend this place if you need body work done. read more

Over the moon happy with the bumper repair on my Honda Accord. Professional and attentive staff made this a great experience. To add to that, my car was returned to me totally detailed and beautiful. I would recommend Collex to anyone who wants excellent, quality work done on their vehicle. read more

Such an awesome crew here! Super helpful, punctual, great sense of humor, and kind. Car looks amazing after it was repaired and was done even sooner than the already quick time estimate of repair. Thank you Collex!!! read more

About 9 years ago we had our car repaired there after being rear-ended. They did a wonderful job, on-time, handled all the insurance, and the car still looks like new 9 years later. Today I brought in a car for a non-insurance related estimate and they were fast, courteous and thorough in providing me an estimate. Top notch. read more

I have had to visit Collex more times than I wish I have had to but this is the place to go! First of all, everybody is smiling and pleasant. They explain everything thoroughly from insurance to body work. The work they do is top notch and guaranteed. They are prompt and work is always done on time. This particular time it was done a day early! I would highly recommend. Kathleen R., read more

My black car had lots of white paint on it from being sideswiped while parked. Collex got the paint off and buffed it and it's good as new. Fast and no charge. Have been there previously and they do great body work too. Amazing! read more

A few weeks after moving to NJ (and having a pretty terrible month), my car gets rear ended by a neighbor. Luckily for me, the honest person left her information and I found Collex Collision Experts to work on my car. I actually chose them based on Yelp reviews so it only made sense to go here. The ladies inside the office were friendly and efficient. My appointment was made, my rental car was set up through them and caused me little inconvenience the few days they had my car. The work was very good and the car looked good as new when I got it back. I hope to never need body work again but if I do, I'll be coming back to Collex. Thanks again for your help! read more

I have used Collex in the past and had good experiences till recently. My daughter had a collision and I told her to take the car to Collex for an estimate. The associate at Collex refused to do a documented estimate and said the repairs would cost around $4000. I recently received the estimate and it was less than $2000, repairs are underway and I will not be using Collex again. There is enough stress to deal with after an accident, this kind of apathetic service does not deserve to be rewarded with my business. read more

A while back, my car was hit and the other driver was in a company truck. There was minor damage. The company did not have insurance on that truck, nor was the driver/employee insured. I needed to get a couple of estimates since the company truck owner said he would pay out-of-pocket. I went to 3 different body shops. The first 2 had estimates done within a half hour. Being that my husband and I used to work in the auto body industry, I went to Collex for an estimate knowing how their operations worked and how their jobs were scheduled compared to other shops. I was told I would have to make an appointment. Mind you, they have several "in-house" estimators and there were no other customers in their office at the time. It seems to me that in this day and age, any business would surely welcome business, regardless of the amount of the job. Needless to say, I didn't make an appointment. Regardless of the amount of damage to be repaired, Collex, in my opinion, did not live up to its slogan of "making an uncomfortable situation comfortable". read more

Excellent customer service and flawless work. They took care of everything. They even picked up on things the Progressive adjuster missed. These guys have their act together. Hope to never need a body shop again, but if I do, I know were I will be going. read more

I definitely recommend Collex Collision Experts. The customer service is top notch! They are meticulous and highly professional. You cannot go wrong by utilizing their services. My husband and I have used Collex now several times. They are the on,y auto body shop we'd use. Everything is handled in a professional and efficient manner from the first phone call to your pick up. The front desk staff is pleasant and helpful and know their stuff. The rest of the team is knowledgable and helpful and they stand by their work. If you have to have the misfortune of needing Aunt body work done on your car, going to Collex makes it about as painless as it could possibly be! Nothing but high marks for them! read more

Just picked up my 2015 Kia Forte back from shop after a deer ran into the right front of vehicle. Damaged headlight and front valance and fender and door. They did a phenomenal job with everything from body alignment to matching the paint. We are very pleased with the repair and communication throughout the whole process and found a lifetime warranty on the repair as well as the paint job. If need be which I hope not, will use Collex Collision in the future and also definitely recommend this repair facility for your Autobody repairs. Thank you Collex Collision. Collex did a great job repairing my car. Someone backed into my car so it needed some bodywork. When I dropped off my car they called the rental company to pick me up to go get my rental all set up. They updated me daily on their progress and they informed me about any delays on delivered parts. When It was all done my car looked brand new. They also detailed the inside. I recommend Collex, they make your situation a lot easier!!!! read more

Brought car there after an accident, and they did an excellent job with the repairs! They were quick to get me an appt., advised how long it would take (2 business days with pick up on the 3rd day) and called to give me updates with the process. My family has worked with them before, and always a great experience. They even walked around my car with me to review the repairs. Would definitely go back! read more

Collex's entire staff did an excellent job from start to finish. Even though my insurance company dragged out the process of waving my deductible for nearly six weeks, Collex kept me updated on the process and everyone there was efficient, knowledgeable, and pleasant. When it was time to have my car repaired, I scheduled an appointment, they set up my car rental, and my car was returned in less than two days. They did an excellent job on the repairs; in fact, they did such a good job cleaning the exterior and interior of my car, I thought I got into the wrong car. I would recommend Collex Collision to anyone and everyone. read more

Wonderful service from start to finish from the personnel at front desk, the estimator Gary, and the technician that reviewed their work with me. Did previously use them (around 2010) which was great and made me come back . Absolutely disappointed about warranty on a job done in 2012 where now became visible they did a the job wrong. I showed them a few weeks ago to check on the warranty but the answer was that it wasn't them, it was a crack caused by someone scraping our car. While that might have been true, I had 2 independent knowledgeable folks (the last one being the gent that fixed the issue - absolutely great job from what I can tell now) confirm they did the wrong job and the crack should not have caused any of the rust and/or bubbling that happened after that. I got some pictures to show that issue. But I ended up paying for something that should have been warranty. read more

Showed up with no appointment after a run-in with a deer. Asked for a ballpark estimate of how long it would take to complete the repairs. They said a month - which seemed like a long time until I thought about all the work involved. I got a call with an estimate later in the day when they told me it would be three weeks. The work was completed a day early and it looks great. I've used them before and will use them again (hopefully I won't need to!). read more

I would never do business with colex ever again. They try to get a extra dollar every where they can. The customer service is the worst, they told me the car was going to be done on the 20th early morning then when calling them on the 20th to tell them i was on my way to pick up the car they told me it wont be done until the end of the day. The lady at the front desk is rude and they also asked me to pay more then what the insurance claim check was for. When to pick up the car today and was very angry with quality of the work. The paint of the car is completely different from the original, scratches all over the car and paint splashes all over the car. Waited a whole month for nothing please same your self time and look for a different place. I'm even missing things from my car. I had college books in the car and they are all gone. I can't believe that they would steal from my vehicle. They said they did an alignment on my car but my car is driving worse then before and now my steering wheel in vibrating. Do not go here!!!!!! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Just picked up my car and I can't wait to rate and write a comment about it. Very satisfied with the total experience and excellent quality of work and I'm not exaggerating. They took good care of everything for me and handed in my car on-time as they promised. Al helped me with the repair work and he is so awesome. Every thing went so fast and smooth. The staffs in the office are all informational, friendly and super nice. They have kept me informed of the whole process and I really appreciate that. read more

I don't know u guys how to define "complete " . But in my opinion, it means that done and wait customer comes to pick up. Collect told me my car would be done in 1/10. But when I came to, the front desk told me I still need wait because they still not finished. It's so bad. I made plan but now I need change all my plan because their "complete ". read more

Having $9000 worth of damage to your car is never a good thing. And frankly I was skeptical as to whether the car would ever be the same. Collex did an amazing job in not only repairing the car (it looks like new), but also in communicating with me throughout the process. They even found a way to reuse a part and save me money on my deductible. They finished the car on the day they said they would and it even looks like they detailed it! Very happy. read more

Car was rear ended, but sustained just minor bumper damage. Staff treated us the same as if was a huge job. From the moment I drove up to the moment I drove out, everything was handled in a most professional and courteous manner. I've never actually used collex but went there on two separate occasions for estimates. Both times they conducted a free review of my car, and actually recommended that we didn't need to fix the car or to go to a different location as it might ne cheaper that way. I think that speaks volumes of a place, they seem to actually get you to try and spend as little as possible and would actually recommend things that don't turn a profit for their own business. The customer service here is really good as well. You can usually tell how a business is going to be by the way the receptionist answers the phone. Both times the receptionist was great and presented a professional and friendly attitude while talking on the phone. Ivan who I assume is one of their managers was also great. He helped push out a dent in our car for free and even offered to drive my family home because he thought that we we had to use the damaged car as our means of transportation to go back home. I've never spent a dime here on two trips, but felt like I received hundreds of dollars in free customer service. I would use Collex again without hesitation. read more
