The team, including Renee, Courtney, Thomas, and two other fantastic individuals whose names I sadly can't recall, were attentive to non-verbal cues, ensuring that every aspect of my visit was tailored to my needs and comfort. The technology at Engle Eyewear is top of the line. It's clear that they invest in the best to provide high-quality care and products. The frames are on the higher side price-wise, but they asked about my budget beforehand, making sure I was comfortable with the options they presented. I've been to all-inclusive resorts, and I can confidently say that the attention and service I received here surpassed those experiences. It almost felt like I was at home. As a Latino in a mostly white business with predominantly white customers, feeling this welcomed and valued was truly remarkable. I hate to use the race card here but I felt the need to get the point across this way to add emphasis. Engle Eyewear is a standout in the community, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent eye care and eyewear. Thank you for making my experience so pleasant! @Renee, thank you for the big hug and here's the review as requested ;)

Worst experience of my life. And its not over yet. Went to sears optical because obviously my…read moreeyesight is off. They tell me i need bifoculs. Sell me 400 bucks for a pair of ray ban bifoculs. Fine. It takes 15 days to get them back. And when i finally do get them back. I cant see out of them because they were made wrong. Plus the frames are defective because a screw is stripped out. I call today to see if they are ready and the girl tells me the lenses are there but that im supposed to use my old frames! I tell her that the person that ordered the lenses was supposed to order frames as well. All she can say is she will look into it and call me back. Today is wed. Sat will be 14 days to get the second pair. I just want the nightmare to end with these people. Do not go there!!!!

I give Dr Hurwitz five stars - but the people working at the counter get zero. He made sure I was dialated and did specific diagnostics in response to my concerns. I bought a pair of glasses from Sears. Their selection is very boring, so three months later I decided to get new lenses put into old frames I liked better. those were from lenscrafters at the other end of the mall. sears refused to do the lenses, so I had to go back to lenscrafters. this is where my trouble starts. I forgot to get a copy of my rx at my first visit, so I called for a copy & was told to come pick it up. when I got there the staff and a manager said they couldn't find it. They didn't even know the name of the doctor I had seen. I asked if they kept files, and they assured me that they did and I had one - so I reminded them that they are required by law to give me my prescription. I went back three times to speak with different people and managers and was finally given a BUSINESS CARD with a handwritten, completely illegible "rx" with no doctors signature. I walked this over to lenscrafters & they confirmed it was unusable and missing more than one piece of important information. Lenscrafters lab technician called Sears, and within five minutes they faxed over a legible typed version complete with signature! This was less than a half hour after I visited the office in person after trying for weeks to get my rx. why did this have to be so hard? why did they only give a legible copy at the request of another professional? bottom line: go to Dr Hurwitz. get an exam ONLY. he is wonderful. be sure to get a copy of your prescription up front! and go get your glasses on zennioptical.com.

I went to customer support online and I filled out an email request for support as requested. I got no response after three days. I tried to call them on the phone--just now. An automated phone response gave me the runaround and ask me to send email. I have already done that to no avail. Customer service is nonexistant to this point. I will continue to waste time trying to get some assistance from this business.

After doing a lot of research online for custom lens replacement, I settled on Seek and I can't even express how deeply I wholeheartedly regret it. I sent in my pair and counted down the days til I would get them back with new lenses and finally get to wear my favorite sunglasses again. It meant something really important to me to get to finally do this for myself. Upon opening the package, my pair had arrived back to me in TWO pieces - one of the arms had been completely snapped off the frame. It is completely irreparable because it's such a small piece. I immediately contacted Seek about this issue, sent them photos of it, furious and upset, and they instantly insisted the post office was to blame and that this happened "during shipping" and went ahead and opened a claim with the USPS, and just left it at that. That really caught me off guard because 1) The shipping box was visibly undamaged. 2) The way they, without even asking me, just suddenly opened a claim with the USPS, to try and cover themselves. 3) Absolutely refused any accountability whatsoever and wasted no time in informing me that a refund is out of the question. Not only is this claim filed with the USPS total BS, I'm being put into a position where I'd have to bring proof of the shipping box (which wasn't damaged) into the post office so they can investigate it. This is laughable because they will instantly deny this claim if I present them an undamaged shipping box. I know this isn't the fault of the USPS and Seek is just completely denying that they did in fact destroy something I deeply cherished and TRUSTED THEM WITH. I'm completely let down by a sentimental item I was expecting to receive back in better condition, something I had been looking forward to for a very long time, and instead, was broken hearted that I'll never get to wear these again and on top of that, insulted with how completely unprofessional they are about this matter. Their template "apology", constantly followed by "this isn't our fault" is so repulsive that they have made it abundantly clear that they have zero regard for customer and client experience. Additionally, the replacement lenses, for the cost, (no added polarization, or UV coating, just standard) were completely smudged and dirty with fingerprints all over them, so that's proof that they were definitely NOT handled with care. I can barely articulate what this has done to me emotionally. It's more than "just get another pair of sunglasses?" They were a sentimental designer pair, very dear to me, that I have owned for nearly a decade. And now after this, I'll never get to wear them ever again. Avoid Seek like the plague. I'll keep letting this be known until they make it right. Which I'm sure they won't. Zero stars for you.
