Even when I had a problem and needed a new Rx and new lenses, she was great at helping me get that. She was very patient and understanding, and fun to talk with. Ridiculous horrible business patients normally wait to be seen and they told me the Doctor doesn't have a grace period it was 5 minutes I thought he was joking!!! guess they get enough business they can turn people away. I would give it a zero if their was a option for it I got here more than twenty minutes before my appointment time and they canceled it because they called me and I didn't answer I called 3 times yesterday to confirm the appointments and no answer they submitted documents to fill out in the morning two hours before my appointment when they stated I would get them a day before or right away nothing I still took my time to sign the documents when I got them so they should've got a notification at ten stating they were signed and she has the audacity to say did you respond if I sign the documents that means I did.. I was in with a friend who needed work done on frames. I spotted frames I really liked. I brought up my eye prescription online and used it to buy a pair of glasses. They were ready for pick up first thing the next morning. The service here is very friendly. There was a sale going on when I bought my glasses. So the price was reasonable. If no sale I'd avoid LensCrafters. Their normal prices are high. read more

My review is very similar to another here. 15 days waiting for lenses. My second call get answer; "they'll be ready today, that's why we haven't called yet". There were other problems. I love this store. I have gone to a " regular" optometrist office for years and years. Last year i came here because my insurance covered it. Had a great thorough exam ( better than my regular optometrist). So i went back this year. Had another great exam and wonderful customer service. Tynna patiently worked with for 1.5 hrs trying to get insurance issues solved. In the end it was cheaper by 150$ going with their special. I got a pair of nice glasses with progressive, scratch resistant, UV block, and anti glare for 200$!!! Could not believe it. Phin was also wonderful and fixed my old glasses while i was there. I will not go anywhere else. Everyone there was awesome even through this trying time with covid restrictions. read more

Save yourself the trouble and do not go to Lens Crafters in Visalia CA Mall. I placed a refill in person for contacts on Sept. 10th and only received the contacts for my right eye. 2 months later and I have yet to receive my contacts for my left eye. In two whole months and calling them weekly and even visiting the store in person management has only given me one pack of 5 contacts for my left eye "as a courtesy". I finally had enough and asked the general manager for a refund and now the excuse is it's been over 30 days so higher approval is needed to issue a refund. Again, two months in and no left eye prescription contacts and no refund! This store deserves a -10! read more

I made an appointment online for a Tuesday. I got there and was told there was no doctor on site. ??? Apparently they don't have doctors on Tuesday's and Thursdays so they don't do exams then. I had that appointment scheduled for a month at least. A month! And nobody thought to notify me that they don't do Tuesdays or Thursday's. I also got an automated phone call the day before to remind me of my appointment on Tuesday! Whack. Not the first time this has happened either. Had appointment here last year and first time same thing happened. No doctor on site. Had to reschedule. Wow....3 hour wait after my appointment time. Exam happened too late to choose frames.... 3 hour round trip to choose frames. Ordered frames, got called at 4:45 pm 10 days later that my glasses were ready. Was told store closes at 8:00 pm. Great, drove the 1.5 hours to the store, young Latina lady asked to help me. Told her to hat I was picking up my glasses. ( over 1500 dollars) she said they don't dispense glasses after 5:00 pm. I asked to speak to her boss, she threatened me with mall security. This lady should not be dealing with the pubic. Another 3 hour round trip for nothing. A couple of days later, picked up my he glasses. DONT GO HERE! Rude, yes. Unprofessional, yes. Overpriced, yes! Deerbrook Mall, Humble Tx Most went smoothly. If you want transition glasses. AVOID. They have a very light almost invisible grey. I compared my other glasses from Walmart and they were much darker in the sun. Now I am stuck with these for a year. They must get a lot of complaints because they were ready with excuses. They gave me the wrong prescription and when I complained about it, twice they told me to give my eyes more time to adjust. Finally after 100 days and because of headaches and eye strains, they actually brought me into the office for a new exam! What they found is my left eye had a completely wrong prescription when in fact it was my right eye that I complained about!! They gave me a new prescription and wanted to charge me $300 for new lenses! When I said that wasn't right and why did I have to pay AGAIN, they said it's been over 90 days!!!! I couldn't believe it! They were the ones who kept telling me me to give it time so now they are wanted more money! WTH! I don't recommend them! I don't trust the new prescription they gave me! I'm in an old pair of glasses and filed a complaint with my insurance company to see if I can get my vision benefits back so I can go to a new doctor. I can't say enough good things about my experience. They were kind when I was making my appointment, and remained that way throughout the whole process. I was welcomed by the nicest ladies and was able to peruse just a few minutes before the doctor saw me. They added the check where you can see the back of your eyes (which ended up helpful for me!) and they didn't make me dilate because I was driving myself. You know how some places can give you lots of pressure? This is not one of those places. The doctor was competent and swift. I had already picked out glasses online that I was going to purchase, and they didn't make me feel terrible about not buying glasses there. It took 15 days for my 1 pair of frames to be ready. I did not receive a call they were ready. I called twice and the second time was told they were completed that day and that's the reason I did not receive a phone call. What a strange coincidence. Would not go here for your glasses unless you want to keep reaching out to them for an update. Finally saw the doctor, ordered my glasses, and waited over two weeks for the due date. It came, I called, they said they'd check on the status and give me a call back. I got no call back. If I could give them 0 stars I would! The only thing that is good about them is that you get your glasses THAT DAY... but there is also a downfall to this! They may have a lab on site, but they still don't have all lenses in stock. Or the lab techs are careless. I went in last year for glasses with a prescription from my normal eye doctor (didn't have time to wait for new glasses) so I gave these guys a shot. Had tons of trouble with my vision all year and every time I went in for a frame adjustment, they were rude. They even cracked my lens down the middle then blamed me! Went back to my regular doctor to find that the lenses put in my glasses at LensCrafters were 2 steps too strong in each eye, which is why I had trouble seeing for an entire year. I went to target optical. Their lowest price is $139 with prescription and will take 14 days to get the glasses. Walmart charge $185 for only lenses. Costco they charge $120 with membership card. Stanton optical they cheated in the telephone saying they have $59.99 deal, and when I got there, they charge $149! They said it is buy one get one free price. Why I need buy 2 pairs? It is ridiculous!! Finally, I happened to go in LensCrafters. They have 99 dollar deal all day long. And you can pick it up the 2nd day. Staff there are nice. Sweet! read more

Honestly I would like to give them zero stars. I went for an exam and purchased glasses in October 2020. I purchased the protection plan. Early October 2021 I went in to have my glasses tightened, the right temple was damaged and non repairable. I paid the $50 copay with the protection plan to have them replaced.. I was told I would get the same frame and lenses. I was fine with that, I liked my frames. A week later I was told my frames were no longer available, I went in and picked out another frame. A week went by and I was told that they did find the frames and that's what I would be getting. Again. I'm fine with that. Two more weeks go by and no glasses, then I get a call saying that they are ready. Well, they were not my original frame. They said it was being shipped and that I could take them with the other frame. Nope they were not what I ordered. Another week goes by and I'm back at the store picking out another frame because they said ,again, that my original frame was no longer available. I picked out another frame and today 2 months later ,finally, I went to pick up my glasses. No one told me that I had to relinquish my original frame, that were broken beyond repair. I paid for my glasses. I paid for the replacement plan and for the new glasses, why do I have to return my broken glasses ? So in a sense I just paid for them twice and I still only have one pair. Maybe I was just still angry for never being told this, having to wait TWO months for my glasses, countless phone calls, never having my calls returned, told to take frames I didn't want and with the exception of Cesar, never never speaking to the same person twice. Cesar was the only professional person there. NEVER again, I hate my glasses because I was told to only pick from the same line, I loved my old frames. This place will never see my business again. Another thing is that I had to explain the situation every time that I called or went in, sometimes being put on hold and hung up on, and not allowed to finish my situation. It is like they never added a note or message to my account/chart. read more

If I could give these people less than one star I would. To be completely honest they are not deserving of any stars and here is why. We went in to have my mom seen by an optometrist, which went well... no complaints there. When it came time to pick her glasses they only had 1 employee working the front of the store. Although we were there before many people she still made us wait. We had our frame selections ready, and there we were waiting still. We got there at 3pm and left at about 7pm. We paid for my mother's glasses at one of those tables, but for the eye exam we had to go to the counter and pay. We were exhausted, fed up with waiting, and when the employee could not figure out what was going on with the computer they wanted us to wait longer while they figured out what was going on. So I had it, and with a fussy toddler I had to ask them to hold the charge until we picked up the glasses. She seemed cool with it, but the employee Joyce I believe kept harassing us, and calling us. When I answered she told us they never ordered our glasses. So they lied multiple times: 1) our glasses would be ready next day 2) they'd still order our glasses & hold the charge until the glasses were picked up (glasses were already paid for @ $600) That being said if we paid that much for glasses why would they no put in the order. That remains unanswered. Fast forward to 3 weeks later, I call to check in on the status. Joyce answers and tells us that she will have the lab manager check, and give us a call back. We get a call back and he says they'll be ready at 4pm so we head to the mall, and they pull the shadiest move ever... they take the money for the eye exam and tell my mom the glasses ain't ready. At this point I had it with this company, so I call them back and tell them... they try to say they said they'd be ready at 5pm but multiple people heard him say 4pm.
