Never answers the phone. Had to go in to make an appointment. Get someone on the PHONES so the customers don't get pissy. This is insane.

I can't express how disappointed I am in this doctor's office since their move across the street. I…read moreunderstand that prices increase over time, but at this point it honestly feels like price gouging. I've purchased the exact same frames from this office for the past three times, every other year. The last two years, the front desk staff mis-ordered my frames. Both times, I had to make an extra trip just to discover the mistake. Instead of taking responsibility, they acted like it was somehow my fault -- even though it's the same frames I order every time. Come on. Let's talk about pricing. In 2023, my total was: Frames: $210 Lenses: $60 Exam: $60 Total: $330 Fast forward to December 2025: Frames: $330 (same frames) Lenses: $100 Exam: $99 That's a massive jump in just two years. When I went to pick up my glasses (after waiting for them to come in), I questioned the pricing because I genuinely thought it might be a mistake. I was then told that since I "upgraded" after the first mis-order, I actually owe them more money. What?? The front desk told me the suggested retail was $264 and that they mark that up -- somehow that becomes over $330. Meanwhile, the suggested retail on the original frames is $227, which means they're marking them up over 45%. Just wow. I chose to leave without causing a scene, but the combination of repeated ordering errors, dismissive customer service, and dramatic price increases is unacceptable. Patients deserve accountability, transparency, and fair pricing. Unfortunately, I experienced none of that here. I will be taking my business elsewhere

I spent my lovely day off driving in downtown traffic to ask for help on my next pair of glasses,…read moresince I've been to this location for my eye exam in the past, even though the exam in my hand recently came from the Lutz location. I brought in my glasses that I don't like and sunglasses as an example of what fits great, since I wanted to be comfortable sitting at the computer for long periods of time. I was hoping for a conversation about similar options for bi-weekly contacts for people with astigmatism, since it's a new condition for me, but nope. I was hoping the lady could help me with my face measurements or tell me what a good option would be for the bridge piece that I could explore so they don't always slide off, but nope. I felt like a nuisance and stopped talking after the conversation just seemed to be a whole lot of "I don't know" and "I don't order online." Super disappointed and I'll take my chances with somewhere cheaper, since I didn't care about the cost at Target Optical. I just wanted help! Self service it is. *****Post update, this is the level of information I was looking for about my face shape and low bridge vs high bridge fit with glasses. After I took to the tape measure I researched this. I still think this is pretty obvious information for someone in an opticians office to be able to provide. More wasting of my time, but an answer! Not sure why one pair is so out of focus, but will be returning for help with the problem. Overall I found their prices to be very high. He handed me my new sunglasses that had made me so dizzy wearing them the first 3 days, I brought them in to ask Sue's help. She sent them out for a different lens material.Today, the replacement lenses were a little better but very blurry on the right lens. I explained that the 9 year old sunglasses that I bought here, still wear were still perfect and never blurry. He pulled my files and said "you didn't get those lenses from here!" I repeated that I only shop there and definitely did purchase them with Gil behind him on that wall. He repeated that I must have gone somewhere else. I said "are you calling me a liar??" He said "you definitely went somewhere else not here" I said quietly with a customer standing behind me; " you are out of line" and he yelled "YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN". I looked at Sue who's said absolutely nothing to support me after being her customer for years; "I will need a refund. You are my witness to all of this" . I left my $1000 paid glasses with her and walked out. I still cannot believe anyone could treat such a valued customer so horribly, Kim

So far, our experiences have been very positive, but recently we spent a lot of money there, and when we went to pick up the glasses, they just handed them to us without so much as a case. I have some extras at home, but I remember that the cases they provided in the past have been nice. So I went back and explained that this was bothersome to me, and given the amount we spent, it seemed like a small ask. They explained that since we didn't buy the frame there, even though that particular redo cost over $1,200 (yes, very expensive) they don't give a case. I explained that this was a unique situation where the original case was lost as were the glasses that precipitated us coming in. It didn't matter to them, so I walked out and will not be going back. Which is a shame because we like the Doctor and both the people that are front of house. Oh well. Penny wise and pound foolish. The case probably cost them $20 max, but now we will just move our business up the street to someone who values our business.

I cannot log into my account online to get my prescriptions. Front desk staff is so unprofessional. I had to leave after waiting over 45 mn after the eye exam, to understand how much I would have to spend out of pocket on a pair of glasses (and actually never did find out ...). I brought my entire family here for years and left glowing reviews--until the original doctor left. What remains is an operation defined by disorganization, poor service, and zero accountability. The exam itself was mediocre but acceptable. Everything after that was not. I did learn that I now have slightly less than perfect vision but was told I dont really need distance lenses. Good to know. I waited roughly 30 minutes post-exam without acknowledgment, then spent over an hour trying to order glasses while staff repeatedly abandoned me to fix another employees' mistakes. In total, I was in the office more than 2.5 hours. I clearly and repeatedly ordered Costa sunglasses with only a reading prescription in the bottom--no distance correction whatsoever. This was confirmed verbally. I paid ~$500 out of pocket and was told they'd be ready January 8. January 15th comes-No call. No update. The patient portal showed a cancelled order and a replacement order--with no explanation. My calls and voicemails went unanswered. When I finally reached two weeks later, I was met with excuses ("We had Wi-Fi issues so we couldn't check our voicemail"). I was told my glasses had been there over a week and they had tried to call me--I asked what number they called, they gave me my wife's number, despite that being corrected multiple times. I had my wife check her phone and voicemail--they never actually contacted either of us. When I finally picked up the glasses--over a month after the appointment--they were made incorrectly, with a distance prescription I explicitly declined. At that point, I requested a refund. I was told they couldn't do that and a manager would call me... and once again, they confirmed the wrong phone number. Absolutely helpless. So far.. No call. No refund. I fear I am going to have to down there every day until I the "manager" is working when I get there. This is not a one-off mistake; it's a pattern of negligence, poor training, and indifference to patients' time and money. If you care about your eyes--or basic professionalism--take your business elsewhere.

We began walking around and looking at frames, keeping an eye on the 2 staff members and staying in their line of sight so when they were free we could get their help. We must have been trying on frames and missed when one of the customers left the store and the staff member never came over or called out asking if we needed assistance. We were not aware the staff member was free until we heard another customer come in the store and saw the staff member immediately go over to start helping them. We then decided to stay near both staff members as they were helping other customers so they could clearly tell we were next in line. After about 10 minutes, with no other customers in the store, we went back to looking at frames (staying in the staff members' direct line of sight). About 5 minutes later a staff member must have come from the back room as we heard another customer come in and saw this new staff member get up from a desk and walk over to start helping them. At this point we simply walked out to go to Warby Parker at the mall. The staff at Eyeglass World never acknowledged us despite our clearly waiting to be helped, the staff members in the front of the store could not be bother to call their colleague from the back room to come and help us when we first came in, no one made any attempt once they were "free" to come help us, and we were blatantly passed over for other customers walking into the store.
