This isn't even my home LensCrafters location--I came here because I heard the selection was larger. I am probably one of the most indecisive people ever, and this was my THIRD location and FOURTH visit trying to find the perfect pair of glasses! Stephan spent over 40 minutes helping me find a pair I absolutely loved. He truly went above and beyond and was incredibly kind, patient, and never once made me feel rushed. This is one of those customer service experiences you don't forget because it genuinely restores your faith in great customer service and in people. Stephan is an absolute gem, and LensCrafters is so lucky to have him on their team. Thank you, Stephan, for being so patient with me and making what had been such a frustrating process into such a positive experience! read more

I had two great experiences here. I called in advanced asking if they can take my Meta AI Ray Bans and fulfill my latest optometry prescription. They said yes and just to come in during business hours. I planned accordingly and did just that. The lady who helped me took the time to show me the different transitional lenses and their various color options. I enjoyed this experience to see all of my options. I ended up just getting the standard, I did not need fancy colored lenses for when I am out in the sun. I was fitted through their iPad digital technology and placing my order was easy. Within a week, I get a call back and I was able to pick up my lenses and they popped them in for me. Ever since, I have been enjoying my prescription transitional Meta AI glasses. I highly recommend you check LensCrafters out for their speedy service, great customer satisfaction and expertise. read more

This LenCrafter's location is the best! Our family has been coming here for the last 4 years for our eyeglasses needs. Staff are all so nice and helpful! They all take time to get to know you! Our family has worked with Stephanie, the store's Team Lead. She has helped us choose frames and has worked to make all our prescription eyeglasses needs ideal for each member of our family. This location takes the time to work with each of us instead of rushing customers out. Love the selection for frame offering! Love the staff! Great communication! They care about their customers and treat them like family! Highly recommend! read more

I purchased my glasses on 12/31/2025 at the Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento and was told that they would be done in 10 days. I called in 10 days and was told that they would now be ready on 1/19/2026 because there was a problem and they needed to be re-made. I called on 1/19/2026 and was told they would be ready on 1/25/2026. I called on 1/26/2026 and was told they should be completed by 2/2/2026 and that it was following the normal process. Not once has anybody from LensCrafters contacted me. I would like somebody to contact me and my purchase refunded immediately. read more

I went and ordered a pair of glasses and picked frames and told them what I wanted and they said ok to everything thing I wanted two tone tint , transition lenses and was told ok no problem, then I go pick them up and they weren't transition and not two tone tint and basically just prescription sunglasses and was told oh well we couldn't do transition and the gradient tint well why wasn't I told about this when I was there telling them everything I wanted , will never go back they are a joke!!! read more

I mean- it was fine- everything just feels outdated and the staff seems miserable/anxious. I'm sitting here on a Sunday and it's over 20 minutes past opening. The staff has been inside for about 10 minutes but, they aren't opening. Super annoying as I have plenty of other errands to run today. Sigh read more

Customer service was excellent and the staff are extremely helpful. I appreciate the doctor for explaining my eye care and confirming ways to keep my eyes healthy. Stephanie and Shandra went above and beyond helping me choose my new glasses. I am so grateful and satisfied. read more

If you get me at classes, do not bring them here. I repeat go somewhere else. I bought some new Vader glasses brought them in here got my lenses done. They work perfectly and then when I picked them up, they must've burnt them. They don't work now and I have to pay 100 bucks to get new ones through my warranty Chandra the store manager is a nightmare she has no customer service at all she didn't even offer to even look at the glasses to see what was wrong Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else read more

The staff, and Stephanie are Amazing!! Great place for stylish eye-wear!! Up to date styles that go with every day lifestyle..

Shandra, the store manager, was super sweet and helpful! I came into LensCrafters to see if they could fix my RayBan sunglasses. The hinge was bent and Macy's RayBan counter couldn't fix it. They suggested I try LensCrafters and sure enough, Shandra fixed them! She was super nice too. I will be back to purchase some new prescription glasses soon. Thanks, Shandra! read more

On October 9, 2025, I tried on frames, didn't like them, and put them back on the shelf. I left the store, went across the way to shop and when I came out, I was stopped by the sales person from LensCrafters who asked me to return to the store to show her where I had placed the frames. Though she said she wasn't accusing me of anything, it felt like I was being accused of shoplifting. I went back in the store, found the spot where I'd left the frames. She then told me she'd check the store video. What irritated me most was the fact that there was no apology. I will never step foot in this store again. read more

Shanda and Chris E were very helpful, I went on to get a screw replaced on my glasses. Chris was able to locate the right size and fix them with in 10 mins. I spend long hours reading contracts, so I came here for new reading glasses. The staff recommended stylish frames within my bdget, and the lenses make a huge difference. I have a complicated situation with my eyes where they are difficult to fit with an eyeglass prescription. Dr. Searby understood all about my eye problems and wrote a prescription giving me greatly improved vision. I needed new glasses ASAP so I could continue to drive. The opticians were able to make new glasses for me right in the store. Less than 2 hours after arriving and Lenscrafters, I walked out of the store wearing my new glasses and drive myself home. I'm so grateful to have Lenscrafters. read more

MICHELLE, the manager/optician made ALL THE DIFFERENCE in my experience here! I picked out a pair that I thought I liked, and when I came to pick it up I was saddened by the appearance, lens thickness (I have a high prescription), etc. I was grateful that LensCrafters have a 30-day happiness guarantee and that Michelle was the one that helped me. She took it upon herself to sift through frames, brought out a over a dozen frames for me to pick from, explained to me how high index would pair with those frames. She truly listened and addressed my concerns, and so I left with two frame purchases (deal was 50% off a second pair and 40% off all lenses) because I found two that I loved thanks to her help. This location is packed and seemingly short staffed even as it first opens in the day; take that into account when you make a trip over here. I had Robert optician when I picked up my glasses. He courtesy cleaned my current glasses. The two pairs I picked up had a crisp view, and I love them both! read more

Came in to get my glasses adjusted and Stephanie did it so quick and seamless! What an amazing service! Thank you Stephanie!

Great experience at LensCrafters. I had an eye exam and got my glasses here after browsing online forever. The lady that helped me choose frames as so sweet and helpful finding frames that fit my requests- colored frames or tortoise shell, wide/possible men's frames, and fit my budget. She found three pairs that worked and were all girlie (which I loved!) and it was enjoyable way to get glasses that I wear everyday. I feel like she really was there to help me feel good about my glasses and since I do wear them everyday, I wont forget the good experience I had here. The DR was also nice and told me to look into getting Lasik which I appreciated her comments on, because I really want to get it since my eyesight is so bad. You can book online here and browse online as well- but nothing beats trying them on in person. I also have been by to get my frames adjusted and get a copy of my exam so I could buy contacts. Not an issue! read more

Eye exams are thorough but they've gotten my lenses wrong twice now for some very expensive progressive glasses I ordered from them ($1200). Their prices are so high compared to other places. Ended up returning. Cheap pair I bought online from a budget store (for under $200 including frames and lenses) was fine. I'm not sure if I'll continue to purchase from LensCrafters even with good insurance coverage. Too much hassle. read more

I came in one afternoon because my old glasses had broke. I still had insurance so I came in for a replacement. I was helped by Ryan he was super helpful and attentive to my need. I've been to plenty of other lends crafters in the greater sacramento area but the customer service provides here was better than all. He was able to lookup my account and help me with my replacement. It took a few days for arrive. I went to pick them up and he helped me out again. He was able to adjust the glasses a few times until they fit spot on. Thank you again Ryan. read more

Collen was great. Took time with my complex glasses issue. Also worked to find me the best deal.

Arden Mall Lenscrafter service is peace of shit !! Poor customer service, staff is not friendly. If you go 11 mins late to your appointment they will say you have to reschedule as per corporate policy, where as if you go on-time they will make you sit for 45 mins saying they are running behind and that's okay for them. my sincere advice : Don't go there !! read more

A very welcoming store! Everyone was incredibly friendly and professional . They were able to help me quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this location if you're looking for an exceptional experience and service. read more

Although it was harder than I expected to find it was great. I entered and was promptly greeted although it was a lottt of folks working but everyone didn't immediately help. The highlight of the visit was the optometrist Dr. Do and the young lady that assisted me Bethenny. They were personable and very knowledgeable. I haven't picked up my glasses yet but they made it easy to spend a good amount of Money on glasses. This is only not a 5 out 5 based on my initial interaction with several employees not giving me accurate directions upon entering. read more

My fiancé had an eye appointment today and I tagged along because I needed a second pair for myself. I'm from the Bay Area and have my eye Dr out there but recently moved here. So I found my glasses and Laura helped me. God she was the rudest person in the whole room. She wasn't helpful or friendly. I had questions and she had a terrible attitude. She needs customer service training. When my fiancé was getting his glasses the lady that helped him was super friendly and gave him a cost breakdown. She offered him optional insurance for a fee but Laura didn't mention that to me and charged me for it. Then I asked Laura about the lenses because my fiancé had picked out a different kind and I wanted to change mine. When I asked her she was rude as heck and said "I offered them to you already" like okkkk you didn't even explain what the difference was between lenses!? Laura hates her job and it shows. Do better laura, customer service is important for your job. Smh. read more

I walked into the Natomas location (3635 North Freeway Boulevard, Space #120-A Sacramento, CA) on Memorial Day 5/27/24. As I walked into the store, I noticed that it was very ebeautiful, spacious and modern. I needed to repair my glasses because the frames had bent somewhat and the arm of the frame was hurting my ear lobe. Robert was working by himself. He warned me about the risk of straightening the frame and that I could not hold him liable in case it broke in the process. He immediately took care of the bent arm and then proceeded to straighten the whole frame. He was able to fix the issue in a matter of seconds. Then he cleaned the glasses and even gave me a hard case with a cleaning cloth to protect them. Robert was friendly and professional. He solved my issue right away. I was very impressed with the service. I highly recommend this location. read more

As soon as I walked in tonight they emidiatly was wanting to know the insurance provider not wanting to give me time to look at glasses to decide what I wanted first. Felt Very Rushed. read more

What a disaster. Customer service is an unknown term at this store. Basically, I go in and the person at the counter instead of talking to me picks up the phone. Okay, phone call ends, and rather than attend to a real live customer in front of them picks up another call. I asked another person in the store is it easier to be attended if I called in? Well a bag of hammers would have been brighter than this individual as they said "we are very busy" not understanding the nature of the derisive comment. Terrific, tell your customer you are really busy and that is the reason you would rather pick up the phone than attend to someone standing in front of you with money in their pocket. I have purchased at least six (6) pairs of glasses at Lenscrafters but stopped doing biz at this store due to an unsafe mall and in the past poor service. What was I thinking? Also, I keep getting emails with "deals" and discounts but what value is if you have employees busy chatting among themselves or answering phone calls when you go buy something. I have run a lot of large enterprises. If I was District Manager I would be looking for a store manager replacement and send the remaining employees to a "Disney" type seminar on customer service. Folk skip this place....... read more

Gosh idiots work here, from insurance to glasses selection they don't know how to read. I ended up buying Ray an new wayfarers (sunglasses) they popped the lenses out and and I paid almost $400 for Rx lenses.. when I picked up my glasses I asked for my glass RB lenses and they told me no they keep them.... umm didn't I just buy the glasses with the lenses? I want my polarized lenses.. crooks read more

My first time getting glasses was such a great experience thanks to Sylvia and Toni! Sylvia went the extra mile to find a pair of frames that fit my face as well as my busy lifestyle! And she even reshaped the sides of my frames and walked outside the mall with me to make sure I was comfortable wearing my new lenses! Toni came out from the lab and took personal time to explain how my lenses are made and specifications to my prescription. I was very happy that Sylvia called her to check my glasses and ensure a proper fit. I have finally adjusted to wearing them each day and it's truly improved my quality of life. Thank you Lens Crafters for having wonderful people like Sylvia and Toni! read more

If you are getting contacts you may be asked to come in afterwards more than once to get your final prescription. Read this LA Times article as well. https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2001-jan-22-he-15531-story.html I was called to come in anytime to pick up my lenses and get a fitting I paid for. Then I was told no, I needed to make an appointment when I dropped in. I was sent home with trial contacts anyhow and asked to schedule yet another appointment to see the optomitrist to get my final prescription. What is keeping them from doing this over the phone and is there a guarantee I'll get my written prescription ? Total headache. Wished I'd waited for my local optometrist to reopen. read more

I bought a new pair of Burberry frames a few weeks ago. I complained to the manager in person because the sales associate at the front desk was rude to me. I felt she spoke to me harshly because I am Black, and this is what I told the manager who agreed to speak to the employee whose name was Carla I believe. The manager was reasonable professional, and I returned to browsing, made my selection, and then purchased the frames. I came in about a month later, and the manager recognized me, but was not intelligent enough to be friendly and outgoing. Instead it was obvious that she sided with Carla during their conversation about my complaint because today when I came in to pick up my glasses, the manager was rude to me, aloof, and inconsistent. She even asked me where I had bought the frames, even though she sold them to me. She did this to kind of insinuate that I was not important and that she did not appreciate my complaint about her employee. The manager is the 3rd party between the customer and the employee, which means all she had to do was tell Carla she was not in any trouble, and also continue to be polite to me. This will be a hard lesson to the Manager who actually comes of professional and friendly. The manager needs to grow up a little bit, and stop acting like a regular hourly employee, she is supposed to be a cut above everyone else on the Sales floor. It is never worth it for the Manger to be the person who is unable to deal with the public. I was not a difficult customer believe it or not, I am just quiet and conservative and I do not put up with disrespect. There is nothing wrong with this type of customer. No employees have a right to be disrespectful to customers, but the Manager of any business is paid to make sure things run smoothly and the customer feels comfortable. I contacted Lense Crafters Customer service and reported her behavior earlier this afternoon. She will be spoken to by the regional Director/Manager of the store, and that makes me feel much better. read more

Cameron is the worst employee I have ever encountered at lenscrafters. It was my sons first time receiving an eye exam so I didn't know the insurance information and asked Cameron to look it up under my account or my daughters since we get our glasses there. This guy spent more time arguing with me about why looking up the insurance under my account or my daughters wouldn't work than it actually took him to look it up under my account. Then he proceeded to tell me how he has seen insurances change out of nowhere. When does an insurance change in the middle of the year ever without going through an open enrollment phase? This guy just wanted to have something to say so I didn't bother telling him how insurance changes actually work. You guys need to do a better job with customer service. I almost walked out of there and if I did you would have lost business from all 4 of us in my household and I usually don't walk out of there without buying glasses, contact lenses, and eye exams. read more

I went in to Sacramento LensCrafters for an eye exam, which was performed by Dr. Searby. Very quickly, Dr. Searby noticed an issue and immediately performed several other tests not normally done for a standard exam. He discovered that a portion of my retina was detached. Per my insurance I then went to an ophthalmologist. The ophthalmologist said he didn't see anything and was prepared to just send me home. I showed him a picture I took of Dr. Searby's monitor showing the problem and only then did the ophthalmologist take a closer look and refer me to a retina specialist. I am so grateful to Dr. Searby for being such an outstanding O.D.. He may have just saved my eyesight! read more

Came to get new eye glasses and frames for my husband and I since I've been to LensCrafters before.
