Downsides are the horrible design of the parking lot combined with the facts that there's only one location in Delaware and residents from nearby states often shop here for tax free shopping, and you're competing with Christiana Mall traffic and Fashion Center traffic. I asked, she said that's a prescription. So I took it to Costco optical, they won't take it, it missing the doc signature, it even doesn't have my full name, just initial. The guy in Costco is kind enough to give me a fax number and said just let the doctor to fax the prescription to them and they will make sure it's ok. So I called back the JCPenney Optical, the girl answered the call is very rude and all she said is no, they only provide the yellow sheet, and I can only pick it up. When I asked her to fax it to Costco, she said no, you have to come in person to pick up the yellow sheet which I know it won't work already.

I was out of the country the week before my first appt date (on a Monday) and got a message - you need a medical clearance first. Well, that wasn't happening a thousand miles away. My fault totally. When I called back, there's no provision to leave a message to the office, and the receptionist is clueless. I called back the (different) number I had gotten the original message from, and voila! An answering machine. No response until the Monday of the first eye from some lackey. "Ok we'll cancel today, but next Monday you're on for the other eye and someone will call you to give you the time and reschedule this one". No calls. I got my health clearance and sent it over. On Wed I called back the same clueless receptionist - do I have a time?? "Oh they'll call you a few days before". ??? It is a few days before!!! No calls. On Fri I tried again. Oh, the office is closed. No provision for leaving a message. I called the answering service to leave a message. Sorry, can't do - call back during business hours. Here it is Monday of my appt - no calls. Needless to say, I didn't go. Midday, and no calls. I'm done with them - I made an appt elsewhere. There are plenty of other providers around here. (Oh, and I left them a nastygram on their website this morning - no response) DONT GO THERE!!!!!
