My wife and I just had a lunch and we were in our athletic wear and we decided to get my wife a pair of new glasses. My wife is a lawyer and I am a judge and former prosecutor. I was highly offended by the behavior of lenscrafter's staff. I would like to start at the beginning. We walked in and no one greeted us for at least 3 minutes. We decided to look around the store for frames for my wife. We did that for about 8 minutes. No one addressed us, no one made an effort to help us. It is as if we were not even in the store. This reckless disregard for their customer's business, to me, as a judge, was outrageous. My recommendation to anyone thinking of visiting that store is to not go. read more

It has been really horrible working with the Naples LensCrafters people! we went in and ordered three pair of glasses. They got my lenses wrong and they had to go back. I still don't have them We still never got my boyfriends second pair of glasses fitted and it's been since February 15 now it's April 27 so it's been two months Things drag on, and on ...the people ACTUALLY lost his glasses and couldn't find them. I've been doing business with LensCrafters in several states over the past 10-15 years. Unfortunately like most companies today, the 'bean counters' have destroyed LensCrafters. The only thing that resembles the original company is the name. And if it weren't for that original reputation, they would already be gone. Most services they originally provided are gone. They don't have labs in most stores anymore. They don't cut lenses in the stores. THEY DON'T EVEN SERVICE THEIR SCAM WARRANTY ANYMORE. Here's the new warranty program- if you need new lenses drop your glasses off at the store. They will send them to an outside location because they don't have qualified people to snap in new lenses. And just in case your not really thinking that last sentence through I'll clarify it. IF YOU ONLY HAVE ONE PAIR OF GLASSES YOUR SCREWED! However they are more than happy to sell you another overpriced pair while your waiting for your frames and lenses to come back. Incidentally, my official brand new LensCrafter brand lenses lasted 1 year and they started peeling some coating on the outside surface. The lenses were only $500 because they were cheaper than the brand name lenses. There is no support staff, crappy sales people, and sit and wait forever if you're a walk in. Don't ask to speak with a manager because of course, he's not in right now! LensCrafters is the current BudLite and deserves the same treatment. I highly recommend that you buy elsewhere. read more

I went to LensCrafters here in Naples because the service from the LensCrafter back home was excellent. However, the Naples stores service was unacceptable. I ordered new glasses on 5/9 and was told it would take a week. After 10 days I called and was told the lenses did not come in yet. I called again a week later and was told the same thing. I asked if they could call the lense company and see what was taking so long and to call me back. No one called back so I called for the third time. Finally someone realized by glasses had been sent 27 days ago to another store. Not sure who routed my glasses incorrectly but Camila took my order. They had to reorder! That order took only 3 days. We have had nothing but issues w LensCrafters for the past year! A dr who I loved is not there. They said "for a reason" no one saw my astigmatism and I was basically blind for one year. The lenses were made wo astigmatism in them. Their new dr found it. I've had a astigmatism since I was 11!! Between that and lenses scratching and actually falling out!! Now we pick up our glasses and there are markings on them they say for the progressive lenses part. My husband and I have had progressive for 18 yrs!!! No marking. We feel like we have scratches on the new lenses. Aweful. They say all glasses have this. ????? So upset!!!! Almost 400 just for lenses!!! read more

I had to go to the Naples LensCrafters out of necessity recently. I was wary because my husband had to return multiple times to get his lenses done right there. They botched his prescription again and again. My turn. They botched my prescription and then--- were trying to sell me the Tom Ford frames on the floor used by multiple customers times (really deeply gross) because that's what samples are for: the general public to try on. You don't have to be an idiot to know sample frames take a beating. I declined the 'opportunity' to buy the repeatedly 'used' ones on the floor whereupon I was given the excuse: 'That's normal. We sell our samples.' Gross and more gross. I picked my frames up at a later date, that I had them order for me because I did not want the 'used' from the floor and asked politely why they do this practice and any other LensCrafters I used has never done that before in the twenty years I've been getting frames. Their associate immediately flipped to a vocal fry and proceeded to query me like I was the village idiot for requesting brand new frames. On and on went his vocal fry. On and on he rhapsodized why it's perfectly fine just sell the samples because: We sell all our frames on the floor every day. I'm calling you-know -what. So you sell all your samples on this floor daily and turn over fresh frames for the next day? Yes we do. (vocal fry) I laughed my way out the door, never to return to that store with ding dongs shilling gross used frames and lies. And botching up prescriptions. Stay away from this particular LenCrafters unless you want a) your prescription messed up, b) you want to be sold frames a zillion people have tried on before you c) and you want to hear the red headed associate vocal fry his azz off to you. read more

I was pleased with my eye exam and the professionalism of the Dr. However, after ordering contacts that were supposed to be in in a couple days I never heard from them. After 3 voicemails that were never returned and the contact order that had to be resubmit I finally have my contacts. They seem a bit disorganize. When I went in to check up on what was going on with my contacts (even though nobody returned my voicemail) low and behold there were my contacts on a shelf in a package that had not even been opened! who doesn't open their packages when they know people are waiting and have paid for the product! read more

Relating to store 2620 Tamiami trail, Naples, FL.While Lenscrafters itself was very helpful, I understand they can only follow prescriptions provided by eye doctors. The doctors Rockman,Zanas and Frederick Brown, all associated with Lenscrafters, fall short of all expectations. My first appointment for exam was on September 9, 2021 with Dr Zanas; I was very explicit with what I needed, she seemed confused but wrote a prescription which I had ordered. On picking up the glasses I told the associate at Lenscrafters that I could not see but would try to get used to them. I tried for a couple of days but still had a problem in addition to getting dizzy when wearing. Called to make a follow up appointment, this time with Dr Brown, who appeared equally confused, could not figure out how to prescribe, but prescribed and returned to lenscrafters who changed the prescription. Now 2 months later the problem is still there. Made another appointment with Dr Brown, needed to cancel but could not get a hold of anyone, only auto answer told to go to internet but could not cancel only make new appointment. Finally got a hold of Lenscrafters corp office when I was told, all the doctors are independent and there was nothing that they could do for me. Still trying to get a hold of someone to. help me!!!!!!!!! Now $800 dollars later still don't have glasses. In addition I brought my COACH sunglasses with polarized lenses so that they could put script in them also; can't use them?!? read more

Husband and I had back to back appointments. They were a bit behind in scheduling (which was made clear up front) but the quality of the service is worth it. Customer service, Louisa was perfect in helping to pick out frames: she gave us the general layout, walked away so we could take our time to browse but stayed close by for questions and providing recommendations. The optometrist, Dr. Jack Rockman was professional, efficient, and clearly an expert in his field. We made an appointment on Tuesday and were able to be seen by him that Saturday. If you need a quick exam for work or a regular eye doc, we strongly recommend LensCrafters with Dr. Rockman and Louisa! read more

I ordered a new pair glasses they told me the time of purchase it would take 7 to 10 working days I thought that's not bad after two weeks I called him I was given one story and then a week later I was told something else a week later they gave me another story and then they mixed up all the stories nine weeks later after initially ordering them they came in with no explanation as to why it took nine weeks to get them I will never go to LensCrafters again nor will I send anyone to LensCrafters I would give them less than one star but it will not let me read more

I found all the employees to be very friendly & helpful. The doctor for my eye exam was super. Really put forth an effort to find the right prescription for me. JR that took care of ordering my lenses was also very nice & very knowledgeable. Agree with prior review and those on google review. Staff member, James, definitely had no idea what he was doing. I was acknowledged upon entering, but the I asked for a specific model and James disappeared. Had another young man ask me if he could help and not do I wish I had continued with him. I Only got worse from there. Unfortunate as I came back after having a great experience with a young lady at this same store on 2 prior occasions. Oh well took my business elsewhere. I had a follow up appointment with my eye doctor and talked with him about trouble with my eyesight with the new glasses I purchased at LensCrafters. When he checked the glasses the lens prescription was different than the one he provided me with to have the glasses made. I took the glasses and all the paperwork back to LensCrafters and they said no adjustment could be made even though the glasses did not match the prescription from the eye doctor.
