I have been coming to Eyeglass World for several years. I had an exceptional experience this morning that I want to share. The Optometrists have always been on point with their prescriptions but Dr. Lori Espinoza went above and beyond. She read my voice during the exam! When we went to my left eye, I said, "wow that is great!" She said, "you had so much enthusiasm in your voice about the left eye, I didn't hear that about the right eye and want to make sure you are happy with your prescription." We went to tweak the right eye just a bit more. That was very impressive. I also had a personal situation in which Corrine and Jaheel went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. They were attentive, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They are everything I would want in an employee. I will stick with Eyeglass World for all my future exams and suggest others give them a try! read more

My husband bought 2 pair eyeglasses last year. He took 1 pair back because a lens came out and asked to repair. He has insurance. They wanted to charge him $100. He brought home, still broken, refusing to pay $100. I took the glasses back, asking for the manager. Of course, the manager was not in and was told no one in that store would of said that! They kept the glasses and said if the repair could not be fixed they would call us and take to a store called, "Fast Fix". The store called saying could not be fixed, to come pick up, no apologies, no compensation! Last time we will go to Eyeglass World! read more

My wife and I stopped by Eyeglass World on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30 p.m., and I must say, if your goal is to be completely ignored, this place absolutely delivers. Every employee was busy eating and sharing food, which apparently takes priority over acknowledging customers. No greeting. No eye contact. No "let me know if you need help." Nothing. We walked in, browsed the entire store, and walked right back out without a single word being said to us. It was honestly impressive how thoroughly invisible I felt. I could have been a ghost. So if you're looking for customer service, assistance, or even basic human acknowledgment, I'd strongly suggest going anywhere else. But if you want to be left totally alone, not helped, and not even acknowledged, especially on a Saturday afternoon, this is definitely the place for you. Wait?? Horrible experience at this eye glass world. There are no on sight providers there to do your exam, everything is now virtual, which means I was not able to get a full comprehensive exam with dilation. I was told by the technician the photo of the back of the eye would be a substitute for dilation, when it is not. Doctor was sarcastic on video. Another corporation trying to cut corners to make billions of dollars without actually caring about their patients. Go to an in person physician if you care about your eye health. read more

I bought two pair of sunglasses at eyeglass world in Naples, Florida last week. I did not like the lens color as it was not dark enough for the Florida sun and could not wear them. I tried to return them to get darker color lenses and was told the store manager was the only person in the store that could help me. The store manager was not and has not been in the store for over 10 days! I am very frustrated with this and have been back to the store 3 times hoping the manager would be there to help me. I am 81 years old and am being treated very poorly by this manager who never shows up! read more

I have used this Naples Eyeglass World for years and have been happy. I left work and visited this week for my appointment and was told after I was in the store that they no longer have doctors - just machines! I booked a full eye exam. I am disgusted and will never use this company for anything ever again. I now have to try to get an appointment before year end at a real doctor and leave work for this again. Terrible , better you find another place wrong prescriptions and then they want to charge you again

It is always a pleasure dealing with Eyeglass World. As busy as they were on Saturday afternoon, they greeted me right away, determined how they could help, asked me if I could wait and got me comfortably seated. As soon as they were finished with their previous customer, they thanked me for my patience and attended me directly. They assisted me in finding suitable frames, explained my lens choices and processed my order quickly. I could not have have had better, more professional service! I went in with my own frames to have the lenses replaced for an updated prescription. They are expensive Versace frames. At the time the manager commented that they were nice frames. When I got there text that they were ready and went to pick them up, the young man went to pull the tray and asked me if I had my frames because only the lenses were there. I informed him that I'd left them there. He said he hadn't seen them. When I told him they were black Versace the manager told the young man that maybe they were the ones he'd seen in the back so he went into the employee break room, where he retrieved them and showed them to me and they were in fact mine. When he put the new lenses in and handed them to me I immediately realized that they had been adjusted to fit someone with a much larger head. The manager came over to tighten them and it took several times of heating them to get them back to fit my head. When I asked him what happened he told me they can warp when the lenses are replaced. I told him I'd had the frames for over 5 years and that had never happened before. He just shrugged. I'm not an idiot and it was very apparent that someone had adjusted them to fit them. I will never go back! Now one side of the frame arm is warped from so many adjustments. read more

I brought in my prescription and ordered a new pair of glasses but when I picked them up they weren't correct. This is the second time that I had to have them sent back to their lab to be fixed and each time they came back wrong. The bifocal was way too high so I ended up getting a refund because you get 30 days. I do not recommend this place for eyeglasses it seems that people who work there really don't know what's going on and their lab is terrible. My glasses along with lenses and bifocal cost me $329. Then I went to Costco where I got a pair of glasses exactly the same for $130 cheaper. read more

I stopped by the other day at eyeglass world in naples and let me tell you, Sabina was super kind and very helpful. She welcome me with a warm smile and offer me so much help. The people I met here have a great costumer service. I have never felt more welcome in a place before. They help me out so much, and they were very patient. Last year, I came to this Eyeglass World (Store #8306) and I got two pairs of glasses; the gentleman assisting me was kind enough to offer me a military discount. I went to buy another two pairs today and enquired about the military veteran discount. Randall, who was working the floor, looked at me as if I was from another planet; he then asked to see my military ID card and after showing him my VA card which shows that I am a disabled veteran, he said they would not accept it. I walked out and did not purchase either glasses. If you are a military veteran or law enforcement officer, do not bring your business to this store. read more

I ordered my glasses from them but I haven't heard anything back. They told me it should take 5-7 days. I tried calling and was n hold for 21 minutes before I hung up. I'll give them a three for now. I will review again once I've received my glasses. I hope they come in soon. read more

I've been going to Eyeglass World for the past 3 years to get my eye exams and glasses. The products are good quality and they have a vast selection. The service is always great. (Bryan is exceptionally friendly and helpful.) The only thing I don't like is that I never see the same eye doctor twice for exams ... and some of them don't seem as knowledgeable as others ... but, I guess as long as I can see better when I leave, that's what truly matters. read more

My husband had his eyes examined by Global Care Optometry that does the eye exams for Eyeglass World. He filled the contract script right away at Costco because the price was better and held out for the glasses. Filled the glasses script a few months later at Sam's Club. When he got the glasses he couldn't see out of them. Took them back to Sams and was told the script was filled as written and to give them a try for a week or so to let his eyes adjust. A week or so later went back to Global Care Optometry and this doctor told him he didn't need glasses, only readers but wrote him a different script and charged him for another exam. Not trusting Global Care at this point he had another exam done at Sams and got a totally different script. Sams changed the lenses at no extra cost and the glasses are fine. I called Global Care Optometry and was told they have a 60 day policy hence the charge for the 2nd exam. I said the second exam was incorrect also and they opened a claim. A week or so later called and told us that their doctor determined that diabetes was the cause of the different scripts for the glasses, not bad scripts from their eye doctors. So to get one pair of glasses we paid for 2 out of pocket exam costs. Insurance paid the first bad script. Beware of this business...Global Care Optometry at 6355 Naples Blvd Naples. I gave them a one star because less was not available. read more

Visited this store in December with my wife. We ordered two complete sets of glasses and three complete pairs of lenses. All five pairs of lenses were made incorrectly. After they made the lenses, again three sets were still made incorrectly. This problem has been going on for over a month and my wife is still waiting on one pair of glasses. Let me start by saying I didn't order glasses from there, so I can't comment on that part. I did look at some and the girl was very helpful, but I wear contacts 99% of the time so I decided against them. I will say that the customer service At the actual doctors is AWFUL. They wrote me the wrong prescription, then of course I had to go back to get the correct one, and have been trying to order contacts for 2 weeks, but I call, get put on hold for 5+ minutes every time, and end up giving up and hanging up. One of the worst experiences yet with eyeglasses! Optometrist was fine....prescription seemed accurate. Personnel At the store not so much....first off the clerk added additional insurance for 4 pairs of glasses which we did not ask for. Check your receipts to make sure you didn't get scammed for this add on without your knowledge! When a replacement pair of glasses came in they were not what I ordered. They used the original pair I had rejected earlier so again we had to re-order the glasses. I was told they would put a "rush" on them. By now it's been almost a month since the order and I still do not have my second pair of glasses. When I first called yesterday to check status (after a week) I was told that glasses were already shipped. Today I called and was informed by a second clerk that they were being shipped out today. Well, which is it? Every time I call for info I am curtly told that THEY will call when the glasses are in. I guess they don't like their customers calling? Too much work? When I asked to have the insurance they charged us (without asking) credited, I was told that the manager had to do that and she wouldn't be in for an hour or so. Really? Eventually after becoming agitated and insisting we wouldn't wait, one of the employees was "kind" enough to redo our receipt and refund the erroneous charge. At any rate, draw your own conclusions. Oh, and by the way, the 2 for one is just like all the other places offering Bogo...not really buy one get one. It's a scam to sell you 2 pairs. You're better off going somewhere with a special on one pair. One plus for this place is they have an awesome selection of frames. That's about it! This is an update to this review. I was emailed by someone at the corporate offices concerning this poor review. Surprisingly, I guess they do care about their customers. At any rate, I went to the store today unannounced and asked for My 2nd pair of eyeglasses, which, I was told, was on the UPS shipment due to arrive. Due to the long wait and inconvenience, I was done waiting and asked for a complete refund. There were no questions asked and since my invoice was within the 30 day return period, I was given a full refund by the store general manager, Heather. I was even allowed to keep one pair of glasses no charge. No hassle return. So, long story short. I may not buy from Eyeglass World again, however, I feel I was treated fairly with this return process. read more

Had an appointment and waited 35 minutes before i asked what was going on. Ended up leaving because they would not tell me if i would be done in time to pick up my daughter 45 minutes from then. I allotted and hour and a half for the appointment and they couldn't get me done. I will go somewhere that making an appointment actually means something. read more

Worst customer service! Day one they told me to come in. No problem I go in and they cannot access my prescription done by the doctors in the same place. 2nd day we place order no problem. 3rd day I get an email wrong mailing address for me and my boyfriend. Call them to correct and apparently it was our fault because we did not just give them 3 separate times our address. They fix my address on mine I receive my contacts today however my boyfriend didn't because they forgot to put the apartment number? Just order online or go somewhere else! read more

The wait took forever. The competency level is extremely low. Can we call ahead and book an appointment to pick up contacts!?? After over a decade of coming here it is still extremely painful. I wish picking up contacts wouldn't feel like a mission to mars and back. I'll start buying my contacts through online companies from now on. I'll encourage others to do the same, I'm over it.
