Doctor was great, a couple weird things had happened other than that not terrible. I got my eye exam done pretty quickly though!

Great experience at Lane Ave location today. My eye doctor's office where I bought my new glasses had been unable to figure out how to get my frame adjusted to fit properly after multiple attempts over the last month. I have had successful experiences at this LensCrafters location in the past, so I walked in there and was helped right away by Kiley. In less than two minutes and in only one try, Kiley had my frame fitting properly! So wonderful to have someone who could listen to the frame fitting issues I was experiencing and solve the puzzle with obvious skill. Thank you Kiley at Lane Avenue LensCrafters! read more

I came in for an eye exam, and I really should have just gone somewhere else. It took way longer than expected. The woman working at Lens Crafters quoted me at first $400 for a pair of classes (I have insurance so I was blown away) & after telling her I couldn't believe how expensive they would be she was able to make "adjustments" and knock the price to $230. They are obviously over selling ... anyways. I ended up ordering the same glasses I found in the store from Glasses.com for $130 and they partner with Lens Crafters for adjustments. So my glasses from glasses.com are getting shipped here and then they will do my adjustments. Nice $150-$300 I saved from ordering online from their sister store. read more

This was the LensCrafters I was at when I found out Kobe Bryant died. So that was pretty awful. Rest In Power, Mamba and Mambacita. However, their customer service team is friendly and overall glasses selection contains a robust assortment of name brands. I do not recommend this LensCrafters if it was where you first heard the news of Kobe Bryant's passing. Each time you enter its doors or drive by the building you will be burdened with unfathomable grief. If that's not the case for you, feel free to stop by and pick up a pair of designer lenses at a nice store. read more

Stopped in here today after years of going to a private location closer to home. I got here late (completely forgot about my appointment despite constant reminders), but they still squeezed me in. Everyone I came in contact with today was amazing!! I am not sure when 'Horvath Vision Care' took over, or how they relate to the 'Lenscrafters' name, so some clarification would've been nice. I'm so happy that they're open on weekends, because between childcare and working full-time, it's not easy to make an appointment during normal business hours M-F. I saw Dr. Sleiman and he was a dream! Knowledgeable, efficient, and easy on the eyes. Learned a lot in our short time together and I plan on coming back next year for my annual check-up. They didn't have my contact lenses in stock (I'm basically blind and hard of hearing, and it's not getting any better the older I get), so they're going to mail my contact lenses straight to my house! Not sure why they've gotten such poor reviews in the past, but note that their most 'recent' reviews are from a year ago. I'd say check them out! read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR AN EYE EXAM. I scheduled an eye exam over a month ago and went to my appointment this morning only to find out that they were closed for remodel. I was never contacted and asked to reschedule due to this remodel and showed up only for them to say there was nothing they could do about it. I showed them proof of my appointment since they did not believe I had an appointment scheduled. SAVE YOUR TIME and go elsewhere! Extremely unprofessional. read more

My name is Ryan. Luxottica and their retail store LensCrafters is a perfect example of why the government established anti Monopoly laws years ago. I paid 700 dollars for glasses in 7-10 days. After 14 I called them. They never once contacted me (no pun intended as they did provide me with contacts during the eye exam). They offered me 25 dollars off and I won't have my glasses for over 21 days since paying. Do these idiots not understand the time value of money?! Might as well have spit in my face. My advice: go across the street to the local store. This place is garbage. They tell you when glasses are ready but not when they are late? This is unnaceptable in today's modern business environment. I could have crafted my own glasses in this time or learned how to exist using my sense of smell, touch , and hearing (maybe not but what other choice do we have?) read more

The staff here, doctors and sales people, are all very friendly and knowledgeable. The doctor answered my million questions respectfully and with patience. The sales people are fun and friendly and honest. Magda, the manager is a cool chic who helped me pick out a cool pair of glasses. My mom and I went there to purchase glasses. The attention and help was amazing 10/10. They offered their service a couple times as we were walking around looking at frames. Andrew took care of us and was wonderful to us. He made my mother feel comfortable just by saying a couple things in Spanish. Definitely recommend going there. read more

Hmm...I guess I've had better experiences than most here. I switched to this Lenscrafters from an east side location about 7 or 8 years ago when I moved to this side of town. I've never had a problem...it's easy to make appointments, the doctors have always been prompt, friendly, and willing to answer any of my questions. This location switched my contacts from Acuvue to Biofinity after complaining about Acuvue sometimes hurting my eyes. It was a great switch, and I've had no problems with the Biofinity for the few years I've worn them. They are more expensive per box, but way better quality. I knock off a couple stars because it is freaking expensive. Usually about $200 for my exam, which would be fine if it included a box of contacts! I know some places have popped up and you can get an exam for $60, so yes, Lenscrafters is overpriced. But as I said, I've always been treated well. They get me in immediately at the time of my appointment, and I'm only there for about 30 minutes, if that. It's in the area I work, so it's convenient. I won't get glasses here though because those are ridiculously overpriced! I use my prescription to get a pair from Warby Parker for $90 rather than paying a few hundred dollars here. Luxxotica has a monopoly on most eyeglasses, so they can charge an arm and leg for them. Warby Parker is not associated with them, and they donate a pair of glasses to someone in need for every pair bought. So good service and thorough with everything, but you're going to pay top dollar, especially if you're getting glasses. read more

First off I want to say that the doctor here and her staff are amazing. As for the actual LensCrafters store, ridiculous. Apparently they can't make a mistake. I was even told ' they don't make mistakes'. My husband got a script for no line bifocals back in April. He has never had bifocals before so he just assumed they were. I noticed he continuously took off his glasses to read. I told him no way those are bifocals. I called today to check on his script and was told it was a bifocal prescription, but the manager of LensCrafters told me he denied bifocals. HILARIOUS since he went in knowing he needed those. He never would have denied them. But again she claims they never make mistakes. Must be non human or something!?!? What a joke. Never again will they get our business. read more

Where to begin? Different employees have different rules. The charge will show up as a triple charge pending and no one can explain why. They make you jump through hoops to make a complaint to their corporate office and even then you can't get through and the manager Melissa (Tuttle Mall in Columbus Ohio) seems to be uninformed about what's going on in her "own" shop and will over talk you at every move. read more

Was assured I could get an emergency pair of glasses here after mine went missing. The INDEPENDENT doctors here are great. The sales people? Not so much. Wouldn't tell me up front how much my insurance would cover, tried to up charge me for things I didn't want or need and then had the audacity to tell me after quoting $208 out the door that it'd be a 3 week wait. Nope, took my prescription and went elsewhere. read more

First I had to wait a week to get my glasses when my daughter got hers in an hour. Then when I took the glasses back in for adjustment they just looked at me funny and said they didn't have a tool that could tighten the setting. All I kept thinking was why would you sell something you can't support. Also the staff could use some training and sensitivity. read more

I wanted to have an eye exam and order contact lenses, but they forced me a trial without much explanation. The next time when I came back to check the contact lenses conditions they let me wait for an hour - and the contact lenses they gave me are twice the price of my original pair. I bought glasses here 2 yrs ago. Just got back from my new optometrist where I Learned that the prescription in the glasses I got here was NEVER correct for my eyes. The glasses I got from lense crafters, besides being the wrong prescription never fit right and the color wore off of the metal frames very soon after purchase. They felt cheap from a week after I got them, even though they were on the pricier end of choices at the store. I will not shop here again. read more

There are many things that I could say about this LensCrafters, but I'll keep it short: do not go here. Just don't. After the store ordered the wrong glasses (and then rudely told me that's what I ordered... it wasn't even close!) I had to stop by the store an additional 6 times! No one could keep their story straight and it was a massive waste of time that ultimately ended in no new frames and getting my money back. In the end, they were apologetic and quickly refunded me but I will not be going back any time soon. read more

Wow. My wife had her eyeglasses made TWICE and they were still blurry. We visited about 5 times to try and straighten out the problem, and eventually we had to get our money back, which they refunded with no argument. On each visit my wife had a different person waiting on her, so she had to start from scratch and explain the problems. The people there are very nice, but from our experience they are incompetent. Also, avoid the on-site eye doctor, we are still working to get our money back from them. My wife got a giant sty right after the exam which we believe was caused by bacteria on the equipment. Go to a real optometrist and optician and avoid LensCrafters. read more

I have been going to LensCrafters for years for all my eyewear needs and this time was definitely one of the best. The general manger took care of me and was beyond great! She was very patient, helpful, and offered her expertise to help make decisions.
